Great, warm place, one floor down. The house-made cheese and paninis were delicious.
Delicious! Busy but not overcrowded. Definitely a must try when in Denver.
Valentines Day date night. Menu was good. Good steak and scallops were great. Manhattan’s were on point. No complaints. Will come back!
VAlentines day. WE were an hour late because of horrible traffic and they accommodated us. We had a very nice time. Just too noisy to really talk. Not too romantic because of how busy it was.
Delicious wine and food! Enjoyed our service and will be back again!
The kitchen is outstanding and consistent. The salads and pizza are particularly creative and good. It is a comfortable place and you are never rushed nor ignored.
We had got our reserved table at 830 and didn’t get out till almost 2.5 hrs later. The service was friendly but so very slow. The food came out wrong (one ordered chicken parm but was brought a gross rotisserie sandwich instead and then had to wait even longer) and then my steak salad was not very tasty. I ended up eating 3 bites and that is it. Not good. I had a bite of my husbands pizza and it was pretty good.
The staff being so slow extra sucked bc we had gotten a party bus and had reservations for activities at other places. So there was more money wasted.
We were celebrating a birthday. Everyone, from the hostess to the server, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was exceptional like always! Dessert brought to the table with a candle was a great touch.
The food is excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant to Italian food lovers! Parking is kind of a pain- get a Lyft or Uber.
Mediocre service. Food okay but nothing exceptional. But what really bothered me is the lack of cleanliness.
It was poor. We passed several tables to be seated among 7 large tables. It was so loud we could not talk to each other.
My daughter and her boy were in town visiting.
Excellent food. Loved the restaurant’s underground vibe. Definitely recommend!
Still wonderful in every aspect: especially the FOOD! We split a Caesar salad (excellent) and I had the rabbit, and my husband had the N.Y. Strip. The mains were perfectly cooked, and very generous portions! We took home the leftovers and had 2 wonderful dinners! Marco just gets better and better.
A couple of errors in food execution, but waitstaff made it right. The Fresno peppers in the Calamari were so spicy my spice-loving wife had to order bread to calm down the excessive heat. To the waitstaff’s credit, they did let the kitchen know they had an unusually hot batch of peppers and they took a fair amount off the tab. When we pointed out one of our entrees had very few of the wild mushrooms it was supposed to feature, waitstaff offered to bring out some more from the kitchen. They ended up bringing us a bowl piled high with mushrooms- showing a sense of humor from the kitchen. We will be back.
The food was great. I wish that it wasn't floating in so much olive oil.
Our cheese appetizers were great! Ordered 2 different pizzas that were not so great- the sauce and toppings were good but the crust was very disappointing. The noise level was very loud, didn’t help that there was a speaker right above our table blasting the same 80’s songs over again. Asked the server if it was possible to turn it down but that didn’t happen. Have only been to this restaurant for drinks in the past and had good experiences. Was really hoping for our dining experience to be great but it wasn’t. Probably won’t come back for dinner.
Very good business meal for 9 while attending a trade show in Denver. Used open table to make the 8pm reservation for our group and we arrived and were seated promptly. Wine selection and menu did not disappoint
Great pizza, lamb meatballs and salad..
The food was fantastic as usual!!! Love dining at Osteria Marco
My family loves coming to Osteria Marco. They are great with a menu that appeals to everyone. Kids love the pizza and adults can get great cocktails!
We are frequent go-ers to Osteria Marco and, food-wise, are never disappointed. The mushroom fusilli and burrata are our favorite dishes. Despite great food, on most of their busy days, the restaurant is so crowded that you are practically shoulder to shoulder with the guests next to you, which can be quite bothersome. I would highly recommend Osteria Marco to anyone in and out of Denver and would also recommend trying to go on slower nights (weekdays); otherwise, you’ll be sitting at their crammed tables along the wall.
Awful. It took 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. We ordered drinks. It took another 20 minutes for someone to bring our drinks. Dinner was serviced. I ordered the salmon. The broccolini was wilted and the salmon was encrusted in salt and smelled and tasted fishy. Not a good experience for 6 of us at all!!!
The waiter charged us for our glasses of wine per glass versus the two bottles that we ordered. Cost would’ve been $54 total. Instead it was over $150 since he charged per glass..... also we asked for a to go box for pizza and he packaged it up with old crusts etc. in the box
The service was excellent. We started with the burrata, which was so creamy and tasty. My honey had the salmon and said it was some of the best he'd ever had. He also enjoyed the sweet potato hash that came with it, but the broccolini was tough. I had the scallops, which were delicious, but $36 for only three scallops was too much.
Overall its always just fine - lunch seems to take longer than it should - server (actually BT) was fine but stretched - lacked some of the finer points of service (i.e refills, extra toast, etc.)
Disappointing to say the least. Having been there before on a couple of occasions the food is usually very good. Not this time though. I ordered the Mushroom Fusilli and the waitress up-sold me to add chokeberries which I did. The mushroom “cream” sauce was bland, as was the pasta and chicken. Hopefully it was just an off day as it’s one of my favorite places.
Service was very slow and inattentive. Food was good but not as good as in years past. I was
First time bringing our 4 year old to the place we had our third date.
Restaurant was not full but had to ask to be seated at a private table. (Most of the small tables are too close together, in a row. No privacy.). We were accommodated, but shouldn’t have to ask. And next redesign, get rid of these too-close-together tables.
The truffle pasta was so good, we all abandoned our own meals and shared one bowl of that. The carbonara pizza was almost too salty to enjoy.
The Chefs cheese board was amazing and HUGE for $20. House salad was great and plenty big enough to split. Mushroom pasta was simple but good and spicy copa pizza was delish and big enough for 3-4 people if you are getting starter.
This is my first visit to Denver and this restaurant was recommended and did not disappoint. The soup of the day was creamy tomato basil with kale, and mushrooms - filling and delicious. I eggplant panini is another recommendation. It was of great value $15 as lunch special with variety options and includes a kale salad.
We went to Osteria Marco on Saturday evening. The host staff was very welcoming and kind. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful and the restaurant is a beautiful place. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would be happy to go back sometime.
Been coming to OM for well over ten years, and like the food and ambience. I still don't understand why the burratta is served so cold -- this cheese must be near room temp in order to be creamy and allow the flavors to come out. Now it is always so cold you have to slice it, when it should be something you can spoon.
Seems the Naples-style pizza has been abandoned as the cheese and toppings are seriously overwhelming there is so much (yes there is too much of a good thing). I used to love that you could pick up a slice and enjoy the crust too. Now I had just a pile of cheese that looks like Pizza Hut -- lighten up you guys! Take a note from Cart driver, Pizza Locali and the many other places you can get a lovely delicate pizza. It's sad but we left nearly half of our pizza as we left as it was just too much goo.
Great food! Great service!
Service was not very good and the restaurant has declined over time. The food was the best part but still, we won't be returning.
One of our fav restaurants and certainly amazing Italian food....just kind of noisy and not very private or romantic
meat and cheese platter was great - chopped salad and pasta were so so. We've eaten here before and was good - maybe just poor menu selections. Close to DCPA so would go again.
