Old Major offers lunch, dinner, happy hour and brunch, along with private dining and off-site catering options with dishes starting at $12. The full bar features a creative cocktail program, craft beer & wine.

What Insiders Are Saying
If you’re going to do Old Major, do it for an afternoon happy hour on the patio.
I really love the seemingly new feature of being able to indicate outside/inside dining when available. Old Major honored this request and we had a great spot outside. The service was incredible, honestly. Our server was super attentive and friendly. It was a great overall experience.
Service was perfect and tapas became our meal. All great but fried chicken was special
Our favorite place in Denver.
While our server was extremely friendly and on top of things, it did take about 40 minutes for our food to come out (I got a veggie scramble, boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich). By the time our food came out, my scramble was too greasy to eat but it didn't seem worth it to mention or to try and get new food after how long the wait was. I really wanted to give this a better rating because I love the vibe of Old Major and their menu is very original, however I feel that $15 for a vegetable scramble is overwhelmingly overpriced for what you get. We didn't feel that the prices reflected the food in a positive way and the $15 bottomless was good considering that you have four different options of juice - however this only being for 1.5 hours when typically brunches do this for $12 and 2 hours seems a bit ridiculous. Bottomless, a coffee, vegetable scramble, and breakfast sandwich came out to roughly $53. Spending the money absolutely isn't a problem, we just expected more and better out of the food and experience overall.
1st time here, very cute place. Service was good & food was good too. Will come back.
Service is perfect - attentive, courteous, efficient, warm and welcoming
Watch out for 2PM reservations via Opentable. We didn’t realize when we made the reservation that the restaurant closes at 2PM. Not the position we would have preferred to put ourselves as well as the restaurant in.
Good menu. Fried chicken good. Burger terrific. BBQ pulled pork not flavorful. Also watermelon spritzer had no
Well taken care of and great food and beverages. A really enjoyable night.
Lunch had Limited menu. We will have to go back and try evening menu.
I made a reservation for 12. I arrived promptly at my reservation time-11:00 am. There were only 3 of us at this time. I was directed to wait at the bar until most of my party was there While I appreciate that when the restaurant is busy, it’s best to wait til most of the party is there, it seemed a bit ridiculous when 8 of us were crowding up the bar and the dining room was practically empty.
We were then directed to a table for 8! I told the hostess that my reservation was for 12. Part of my party had already made themselves comfortable. The hostess was trying to get us to move (drinks on the table, etc), the server was being rather short with us.
Our server was rather....inattentive. Many in my party ordered either coffee or bottomless mimosas. Again, I appreciate large parties can be overwhelming, but many times it was an excessive wait for her to even check on us, let alone refill our cups.
I love the food, it just makes me sad that we were treated like second class citizens.
Great food, great service, was super please with atmosphere as well.
Absolutely wonderful. Everything was amazing. Service was fast and always right there for you. You won’t have a bad dish here, everything is tasty and yummy! You can’t tell the attention and heart put in to each dish.
The food and service were excellent. We had avoided the restaurant because of a perceived emphasis on red meat but the fried chicken, trout and trout were superb
Four of us went on a girls night out - dinner and show. We ordered 7 appetizers, a dessert and a couple of drinks each. Both the food and drinks were absolutely perfect! We shared: oysters, short ribs, grilled asparagus, mashed potatoes, fried pig ears, fried chicken, biscuits and ham, pistachio icecream. The drinks were Winter in Mexico and another one (don't remember the name). Again, everything was incredible!
Old Major never fails to make us happy. It was our 3rd time there and we actually had the opportunity to meet Chef this time. If you are a huge food fan - you will get excited about what they do there. Unashamed to do things the right way.
Waitress was mediocre and not familiar enough with menu or drink options. Either manager or not very busy bartender made up for what she lacked and boosted morale at our table for sure. Food was out of this world spectacular tasting but modifications were not as easy as I would have liked as I have dietary restrictions. Very reasonably priced for quality of food. Will definitely try again hopefully with a better waitress.
Awesome! Just awesome! One of my Denver favorites. Sitting in the bar area, great drinks, and exception meats!!!
Ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches were delicious. The salad and the fish tacos were nothing special. Ambience, patio and service were good.
Great as always and the had a guy playing guitar and singing. That was good also- not too loud and added to the ambiance.
Menu was disappointing. It has been a while since I last dined here and I did not have the same experience I have had in the past. Servers had to read menu description from note cards. When the food was delivered those delivering the food also read from notes and basically gave a list of ingredients. The pork belly app special was good but overall the food was not created with the care I have experienced in the past. For the price and experience I do not think I will return. Curious if the restaurant has changed hands in the past year or so?
Amazing meats, cool vibe, fun staff. Great for a date, group of friends, or frankly any occasion.
Had a lovely meal on a Wednesday evening. We sat on the front patio and enjoyed the neighborhood traffic. We decided to order several shared plates and each was delicious. Would definitely return.
The food was excellent and our server was very nice and attentive. Our initial experience by our hostess as we arrived and were seated could have been better. But overall, good service and good food.
The food was delicious. It totally lives up to the reputation.
Unfortunately the service was awful. It took an hour for us to get our food after we were seated. It was brunch. At one point the server have 1/2 our table coffee refills and the other half without. I got up and got my own rather than wait for her to maybe make it back.
We weren't in a hurry, and it's a good thing.
Air conditioning too cold
Although we weren't told in advance that the restaurant had a special Pride Week menu on the evening we visited, we enjoyed the food very much. The first course was a tuna appetizer--a little mushy due to outside temp--second was a salad dish that none of us cared for. The main course was very tasty (a roasted chicken thigh) and dessert was excellent. Wine choice was very good. We ate outside because it was a lovely evening and also because the inside was quite noisy.
OpenTable note that I wrote when making the online reservation regarding the celebration of a 30th birthday was not relayed to the server. They really came through after I mentioned it to our server! Very nice touch with the celebratory bubbles for the whole group of us to toast with.
Bar service is a little slow, but overall a very good 1st time diner experience. Food was excellent. Portion sizes vary between dishes, but our server recommended 3 share plates per couple and the amount was just right for us.
The best place to eat outside on a hot day. Shade and misters!!
Terrific brunch menu! Wonderful patio, food and service!
Obviously, amazing pork meals! Would definitely go back!
Consistently good and innovative food. Our waiter was outstanding - ready with educated recommendations. I told him of my allergy to peanuts and he made sure the kitchen fried my food in an alternative. Super impressed. Kudos!
Overall I had an okay experience. What’s with the jalapeño garnish in the coconut tequila infused cocktail and not handing out a straw? I had blackened jalapeño flakes in my drink which got in my teeth. Also the ham and biscuit dish was so salty I couldn’t eat the meat.
What a unique and wonderful place! We were treated like royalty with spectacular service! The food is meat heavy but there are some vegetarian options. Everything is prepared meticulously and tasted delicious. Cool vibe and area. Lots of options for seating, whether you like being indoors, outdoors or at the bar. A bit expensive but worth it if you can swing it or for a special occasion. Overall, Amazing place!
We have been many times in the past and all was fantastic. This experience was not good! The server seemed irritated by everyone in the back room. We waited well over an hour to get our food. Something was up in the kitchen. After an 1 1/2 hours we said” if our food isn’t out in 10 min. We are leaving.” Food came out and was Luke warm. 4 of us. We probably will not go back. We live in the neighborhood. It’s too bad.
Get the ribeye. It’s worth every cent you’ll spend! One of the best all around dining experiences I’ve ever had. Great(and extremely knowledgeable) staff, great food and just a fun place to be. Brunch is phenomenal as well but the dinner is somehow even better!
It was 1:15hrs from ordering to being served on a Wednesday evening, and that was just for 2 steaks and 1 side. This is my third time here, and it's been extremely slow each time so I probably won't be back.
The service was pretty rough, too. The meat came first, but just the bare meat on a plate. The sides came an extra 10 minutes later, so we ended up eating our steaks by themselves, and then the sides by themselves. Felt very weird and like they didn't have their act together.
Our server was underdressed in baggy blue jeans and was totally spaced out and didn't know much about the menu or drinks.
For a $50+/per person dinner I expect much better quality of service.
Amazing food, amazing service, every time. The brunch here is excellent as well
Perfect experience for 1st mothers day
Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch! Friendly, family oriented service, tasty locally owned fair trade coffee, delicious homemade meats and pastries made it a special morning for our family. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!
