M'tucci's Italian - Albuquerque Ratings and Reviews
We celebrated our anniversary on a Friday night and it was beautiful! I told them ahead of time that it was a special occasion and we had a table in the center gazebo, surrounded by lights. The service was exceptional and the food was very good. Will definitely return!
I went there to meet a friend who ran almost an hour late, the waitress was so attentive and did not make me feel like I was wasting her time. She was so kind took the time to check on me on a regular basis. Once my friend showed up, she was right there eager to please. The selections she suggested were spot on.... Great food, Great Service. I will make this one of my regular stops.
Always a lovely experience. But a few things of note on this trip. Two of us had the Porterhouse steak special and both of us were a bit disappointed in the toughness of the meat. It is the first time I have had steak at M'Tucci's and I have been there over a dozen times. Not likely to order steak again, but from past experience, the spaghetti and meat balls is the best in town, the polenta and sausage is outstanding and the eggplant parmesan is also above average. The cocktails are great and the waitstaff is usually exceptional. Tonight, we felt rushed several times by our wait person even after asking her to slow down with the service. Clearing plates and offering dessert menus is a real turn off when two from our party were clearly still eating their entrees.
We live nearby and had been talking about going for years. We were expecting a typical white table cloth traditional Italian restaurant. We were surprised at the casual fun atmosphere. It reminded us of New Orleans.
The food was exceptional, the wait staff helpful and attentive, and the prices were reasonable.
I have been a couple of times and the food has just not measured up to what I think is delicious Italian although the service is always excellent and the drinks are good. The food just isn’t great especially for the price. Nice atmosphere and would be good for a date night but is pretty noisy. Overall, it was ok, probably won’t be back.
My girlfriends 33rd birthday also happens to be New Year's Eve! Choosing a restaurant on New Years is difficult because you must plan ahead. I knew for sure that their food is always on point for an extraordinary dining experience! Our waiter went above and beyond to meet our needs, as well as let us ask as many questions as we needed about the dinner choices! Which was exceptional! Lamb shanks, pasta dishes, thick pork chops, steaks, a variety of fish dishes.... I ordered the scallop risotto, which was out of this world! The ambiance was perfect. Mctuccis RULES!
We celebrated my mom’s birthday here, after having changed our reservation from Seasons. I cannot express how lovely our dinner experience was. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was both quaint and unique and the food was memorable. We definitely will have this as one of our top 5 special occasion locations moving forward.
From the moment we were seated, service was prompt, friendly and professional. The menu choices were a delight for the palate, including standards as well as excellent pairings. This is a fun restaurant and we were lucky to pick a night with live music. We will be back with friends.
This is my new favorite dining establishment! Who else in the Q has oxtail?! And it was delicious. Lightest, creamiest polenta to be had. Friendly staff. And a sparkler for special occasions! You can't beat this place. Kudos to M'Tucci's for a delightful evening!
Love M'Tucci's! Went there for my daughter's birthday(her favorite restaurant). They sat us right by the front door when the restaurant was still almost empty. My husband's hanger steak was fabulous. They were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions of no dairy or gluten. Only complaint is the pasta they made for me special needed more flavor-like spices. It was blah tasting. Kudos for trying! Will order the hanger steak next time.
Second time we have had brunch and it was just as good as first time!
Great entrees, excellent mimosas and efficient service.
Can be noisy for dinner but we had 11 am reservations and there were only a few occupied tables. Music was good but a tad loud.
Highly recommend for brunch and dinner too; we have had dinner several times and always great.
We went here while in Albuquerque visiting friends and were so surprised at how good the food was! After all, it's Italian in New Mexico. But it was wonderful. Two of us had the scallops(sweet and succulent) and the Grigliata Mista, both superb and a wonderful combination. The potato leek soup is to die for. Pastas do not disappoint.
The food was good and each ate was interesting. This place gets crowded during regular dinner hours so a late lunch is a perfect time to enjoy eating here. I was impressed by the birthday dessert offering which included a sparkler candle. The Italian Twinkie is worth trying. Lots of fun. I do prefer the menu at the M’Tuccis in Rio Rancho and wish they had the same options.
