Morton's The Steakhouse - Denver

All in all great. Steaks cooked perfectly. Servers should be trained to look for and keep wine glasses filled to the mid-bowl -- especially for the ladies.
Bread was good unless you can’t eat onions. We’re offered no options. Waitress pretty average... more like I’d expect at Perkins complete with addressing me as “ dear” or some other out of place term.
Steak was great.
Music was too loud and made conversation difficult. The waitress had a hard time hearing also. It was turned down a bit the second time we asked.
Order a meal similar to a surf and turf with scallops. Chef didn’t like the appearance of the scallops so they were replace with 2 shrimp. Would have expected to have been given a price reduction, but no.
Waiter started out strong but seemed to disappear. Would have liked to been asked about another cocktail. Being that the place was empty, maybe 4 other tables, he wasn’t over worked.
Dessert was great
Excellent from the beginning until the end. Both lady managers were wonderful, and delicious food and top notch service.
Billing experience is the longest and worst I have ever had. Probably never go back. Detailed experience submitted directly to Morton’s.
They definitely tried to upsell everything expensive on the menu - disappointed when we ordered a side dish instead of an appetizer to begin with. But overall the service was pretty good, the food was delicious, and it was a nice spot to celebrate an anniversary.
I've been here twice the first time food and service were on point this time service was okay
Overall the experience was superb. The service was set at our pace for a nice slow enjoyable evening. However, it seemed the drinks took a little too long to come from the bar. Coursing was well timed, food was amazing!
We go to Morton’s for all of our special occasion meals when we are around one. They are the best with making someone feel special (special printed dinner menu, photo in a frame, desert, and everyone wishing them happy birthday). The food is what brings us in but the special feeling is what has us look for then when we want an occasion to be rememberable! Thank you!
Great overall experience. We sat in the bar area which was very busy and the wait staff team did an excellent job keeping up with the action. The food was cooked perfectly and the happy hour pricing is a real hit. We will be back. Good job and kudos to the Morton’s Denver steam.
Fantastic experience, food was amazing. Good selection of drinks and the chocolate mousse was amazing
Amazing food and service. I would absolutely recommend this place and would go back again.
Fantastic as usual. Our favorite place for fine dining in Denver!
Wonderful food, staff & ambience!!!!!!
Tho the service was excellent, the food was mediocre, and way over priced. 1 pound of steamed crab legs was $66, and fishy. Tomato and mozzarella salad was bland, needed a stronger dressing.... say vinegar? Tempura shrimp was good, as long as you get the sauce on the side. I couldn't imagine a $350 check for 2 people, fow what was ordered. They even charged $5 for bread!
The total dining experience was exceptional. This restaurant has a true "service" culture which was manifested from the moment we entered the door. Joe, the GM has developed a great crew of dedicated people who really enjoy what they're doing: Erin Ryan was a superlative waiter in every respect; and the chef and kitchen staff are perfectionists who know how to create and present extremely high quality food. This was our first visit, but certainly not our last, and we were delighted on all dimensions......JMG
Wonderful happy hour and dinner date night! Always great service and good food!
The food was amazing and we will definitely return. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and they had a menu printed with his name and birthday wishes on it. They even took our picture and printed it off for us. Our waiter Ryan was one of the BEST servers we've ever had. He was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining the menu and just talking with us in general. This place is a must for a special occasion or just dinner with friends.
Ordered the steak frites; steak was chewy and flavorless. The scallops and pork belly were delicious.
A lovely evening celebrating our daughter’s 22nd Birthday!! Ryan (our server) was fantastic! Food was great as always!! We highly recommend Morton’s!!
Morton's continues to meet or exceed all of my expectations. But, I was a little disappointed that many of my favorite items have been removed from the menu.
Not too crazy about the change in the Morton’s concert at the Denver location.
gREAT Deal on last day of $99 Dinner for 2 Service and food well worth it
Wonderful as always! Love the new space and ambiance! Lighting is much better.
Great dinner for a fabulous price for what we got!
We went there for my husbands birthday and it was the best one ever. Since they had a buyout that evening in their main dining room, they put us in a private dining room off the bar area. We were the only ones in there and it was fantastic. They pampered us all evening. We can't say enough good things about Denver Morton's.
Outstanding place to go for dinner. Exceptional service. Everything was just spot-on
If you have been dining at Mortons for the past several decades - don't go here expecting the same quality food or menu items. They have somehow decided that changing this ONE Mortons away from the successful concept utilized throughout the country was a good move. In my opinion, they missed the mark entirely. The menu is confusing - several different local farms featuring the same size and types of meat. And they did away with menu items I've come to expect. Not to mention the formal style of service. Not my cup of tea.
Good variety of food on the menu. Extensive wine list. The food was delicious. Great cocktails. The service was very attentive. We had not been to Morton's since they moved to their present location. The restaurant and bar is bigger and nicer than the previous location.
Bottom line----- if you want to treat friends or out of town guests to a great restaurant experience, Morton's of Denver should be high on your list.
Always well-worth the price points but normally would drop the value score one notch. This was based on a Labor Day Weekend special menu though and being truthful, was definitely "outstanding". All the other ratings, however, woulds remain the same no matter the day.
food was a typical Morton place style as expected. we ordered a Chocolate Souffle Cake for a desert. tho it's nice but it didn't tasted chocolate. mentioned it to the wait staff but she insisted that's chocolate. LOL. okey you can say so even your customer says otherwise. we thought she should at least offer to check with the kitchen. in the end, we looked foolish as she insisted we were wrong. trust me we had this before in Morton. don't think we will be back to this Morton. sorry
Great! They added many special touches to celebrate my birthday. We really enjoyed the evening and will be back again!
This was one of the best birthday dinners ever. The staff was amazing and I felt like a king. They really do an amazing job. I will be back soon.
Great dinner and service
Ryan was wonderful along with all of the staff. Very welcoming place and great food.
Very decadent and enjoyable experience. The service is top notch...above and beyond. The food was fantastic. They care deeply about your experience and deliver that promise. I enjoyed the wedge salad, filet mignon (the best I´ve ever had), mexican street corn (addiction forming), twice baked potato (fantastic) and the sundae. (devoured) My husband had the pork chop, mexican corn and twice baked potato, and shared in the sundae. We also were fond of their drinks, trying the Mojito and the Golden pineapple. The staff were willing to give the royal treatment authentically and without condescension. The newer location is very relaxing, quiet, and high end.
We had an outside table which was great, the service with a smile and top notch and we had the mixed grill which was perfect.
The staff was absolutely amazing and the server Kristen was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. The food was cooked perfect and you couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I have always loved Mortons, but this time I thought the steak was not as tender as it should have been.
