   Great restaurant but only if you go Sunday-Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays are way too crowded and loud, and they don’t have the staff to keep up — prepare to wait forever for everything … while also feeling rushed when you finally get your food or drinks. Went on a Saturday for my mom’s birthday. Requested a booth in my advance reservation but when I got there, they said sorry, no booths available. That set the tone for a frustrating evening. They wanted us to order drinks, apps, salads, dinner, and sides ASAP so they could get their menus back, and then we waited at least 30-45 minutes for EACH. Once the food finally DID arrive, they kept coming to the table trying to take our plates away when we were still eating. It felt like a struggle to get through the meal … we just wanted to be left alone for a few minutes to enjoy our food when it finally came! It’s about $500 for 3 people which I am glad to pay, but at least let me enjoy it. If I come back, it’ll be during the week only.

    There were flies in the restaurant and we noticed some tables had small fans to deter them but we were not offered one. I spent the entire meal swatting them away. The female hostess staff are dressed WAY to skimpy. The dresses barely covered butt cheeks and one female had a slit in her dress that came up to the front of her underwear. We were called and reminded about the strict dress code before our reservations and noted it on the website as well. Yet, we saw people seated in the dining room with athletic clothes, cut off Jean shorts, and other questionable attire. Seems like an inconsistent policy.

    Food was good but overpriced. Nice ambience except lots of tables more interested in getting photos taken. Very loud and hard to communicate with wait staff. Fun place to check out one time. Did not make my list of faves.

    We made a reservation for indoor seating. We arrived and they sat us on the patio outside. The hostess, of which there were 7, told us that you have to call the restaurant to book actual inside seating. That’s not fair. Regardless, food was amazing per usual. I HIGHLY recommend the sea bass.

    Food was pretty horrible. The asparagus was dry and unseasoned. The truffle mashed potatoes were runny and tasted like they were made from a boxed of flakes. Drinks and service were great!

    Lunch at meat market is a different experience than dinner dining. It’s more casual and laid back. We sat outside and it was not too hot. Food was really good. We got sandwiches - highly suggest trying their sandwich special (changes daily!)

    We went for my husbands 30th birthday. Everything was great from service to food. We both got the Brasstown steaks and shared the scalloped potatoes, Mac and cheese, and truffle cream corn. Amazing! We are huge steak people and Meat Market definitely did not disappoint!!

    Wish the team would alert you of dress code (no shorts for men - even when they’re nice slacks). They said it’ll be a bit for our reservation - but really it was bc my husband was in khaki shorts and wasn’t allowed inside and they had to dry off the tables outside after the rain. It’s important to just set the expectation up front that this is the seat you’d be getting BEFORE waiting like 25 minutes past your reservation time. We’re from out of town - had no idea about night time dress code. Food was good nothing crazy - service was great. Very on top of everything.

    The service was excellent. The noise level (Friday night) was almost unbearable. It is a mostly younger crowd. The food wasn’t bad but also not amazing considering the high cost. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing meal, this is not the location. If you like loud venues and people watching, you’ll be happy here.

    Food and service were amazing. We were sat in the patio area which was scorching hot. Only ceiling fans near us which didn’t cool things off much. The screens were only half down causing my legs to get direct sun. Hopefully next time we can sit inside. Great meal and can’t wait to go back.

    I had booked a inside room. They do not allow men to wear sandals, in Florida, in the summer, during the day. We were forced outside. And it ruined the entire meal. Too hot to be outside. On top of the food being over priced and no my that good.

    AWFUL!! DO NOT COME HERE Had a reservation for 8pm and the dinning room manager, who is named Christopher, told me it would be a bit of a wait. We waited at the bar and it ended up being two hours! The host then told me he was “looking for me everywhere” and couldn’t find me when me table was ready. When I asked why we didn’t receive a text to confirm our table was ready, he said that the text “didn’t go through”. Yea right. Being lied to wasn’t the worst part. The host then came to our table after we were seated and offered us drinks “on him” to make up for the wait. He came back with a second round of shots, again, “on him” for the wait. When we received our bill, he ended up charging us for the “complementary” drinks! This coward of a manager was nowhere to be found after we asked our waiter to call him to our table. I’ve never experienced such awful service and disrespect from a restaurant in my life. I’m not sure if he targeted us because we were a group of brown women or if he just thought we were dumb. Complete failure of a place with a creepy manager

    Hi! We had two servers and consequently two very different experiences. I will start off by saying that our food was absolutely delicious and our cocktails were amazing! We had sushi, oysters, the kimchi potstickers, the tuna on special and of course a steak. When we received our entrées, we’re still waiting on our drinks. I know the bar was busy but when we ordered or after dinner drinks and dessert it took a very long time for drinks to get there and no one came by the table. The drink I ordered was not with the server described, so it wasn’t what I was expecting and I didn’t like it. I ordered a dessert to pair with it, so no that was not wanted since the drink wasn’t what it was supposed to be. But when it did come,I had no silverware to even try to eat it and we waited over 5 minutes to get that. You had run out of something for my fiancés drink so we didn’t get that- that happens and I’m not mad but When the bill came all of those items were still on there. We had to have her corrected more than once to get the right items left on our bill. All in all it was frustrating because no one ever came by to ask us about it, it’s certainly not what you expect coming to a place like meat market.

    Happy Hour only takes place at the bar which I didn’t know when booking. Also, I found out that my party couldn’t be seated without everyone present. The hostesses are rude - rolled their eyes when I asked to be seated inside instead of outside (I booked Standard seating) and even had to show them my OT reservation details. We ended up moving to the bar where service was subpar. Three different bartenders ended up “taking care” of us because it’s so disorganized. My nachos were OK and cocktails were “meh.” It’s always an underwhelming experience at Meat Market, but I had a friend who really wanted to try it out for the first time.

    At first we weren’t happy about sitting outside, but we didn’t check and were unaware of the, no shorts, after 4 rule. However, had we been inside we would have miss the great service of Daniel, the front server, and Hannah the back server. They were friendly and professional and most importantly gave wonderful food recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the amazing service. Hope to see Hannah as a front server next time we’re at Meat Market.
