Great service, imaginative food and really smart bar program. A wonderful meal and evening.
Our order was not sent to the kitchen correctly so it took longer than it should have to get our meal. We were told that we were going to get comped for the inconvenience and they considered a free dessert as the compensation. Unfortunately, we had been there so long that we didn’t feel like dessert at that point and ultimately paid full price for a very average experience.
Tasting menu was bountiful and seemed to go on and on
Celebrated my wife's 40th birthday here with 11 people. Service was next level and food was excellent! Perfect execution of modern French cuisine and techniques. We had a progressive tasting menu and got to try most of the menu (10+ courses). The ambiance is stylish and sexy. Definitely recommend for special occasion dinner or high-end date night.
Second time dining at LeRoux. Jonathan was our server and was very helpful and fun to work with. We shared the wagyu beef, mushroom mille feuille, scallops, lobster, short ribs, and pistachio dessert. The chef came out to ask how our dinner was at the end. Enjoyed it, and we will return.
Wonderful service, meal and setting. Recommend to foodies of Denver! We will be back
Very nice. Great French onion soup. Loved the pasta dish. Great place for a date. Service was excellent. Next time we will try the tasting menu.
Interior is beautiful and intimate - really wonderful decor which is so needed in Denver. I would recommend this restaurant - but there were definitely hiccups. My entree which was the short rib was all fat - but without question was immediately replaced with an outstanding short rib I will be dreaming about. All others at the table enjoyed their dishes, but we all agreed the short rib was the winner. It would be nice to have an option for some type of side vegetable with the entree to balance the richness of the main courses. But the big complaint that became tiresome is the slow service. We ended up asking for the waiter way too many times. Lots of people pouring water, removing plates quickly etc. but the waiter was MIA.
This became tiresome and aggravating. A great evening turned into questioning if we would be back. I still would recommend this restaurant as maybe it was an off night for the waiter- let’s hope so.
Maybe it was an off night for the chef, but the food was barely edible. The French onion soup was super salty, the butternut squash pasta was inedible and my husband’s chicken was undercooked. The dessert was excellent, as was the service and beautiful atmosphere. Not sure that we would dine here again, but I would go for dessert and a glass of wine.
My wife and I went to LeRoux for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The food was amazing.
Very cute place. It’s was quiet. Food was absolutely great. Services was good. Little bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it.
One of the best restaurants in Denver. Every dish, octopus, veal chop, onion soup, pasta vege, all fantastic. Drinks were also great.
We had a perfect anniversary dinner at LeRoux. The service was excellent and the food delicious. They made our celebration memorable.
My wife and I cannot give enough praise to LeRoux and especially Mac behind the bar. He made sure that we were taken care of during our multi course meal that can only be described as otherworldly. The mushroom mille-feuille and the cauliflower creme brûlée were pleasant surprises and were paired expertly. Along with those, anyone dining at LeRoux absolutely must try either the octopus a la plancha and/or the short rib. Both have such deep and complex flavors that you’ll feel forced to take a moment or two just to marvel at how their kitchen could accomplish this. Huge thanks to Mac, Soto, Ian, and the rest of the LeRoux staff for such an amazing experience. It was a meal we’ll remember for years to come.
The ambiance was great and restaurant was adorable but we were sat 20 minutes after our reservation and then weren’t greeted for another 15 minutes. Our server was far too busy to take on our table and we were not thrilled with the experience. Food was good!
Had such a great first meal in Denver here. Everything from the starters to the dessert were drool worthy. The staff was also very accommodating, kind, and helpful. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
This is a fabulous restaurant with great food, drinks and atmosphere. Wonderful service and creative food. Special place.
Exceptional drinks. Exceptional drinks. The food was pretty good but not the best I have had in a place like this. Wonderful ambience.
Have never been disappointed. Service and food is always excellent
Had a lovely dinner with my husband-lovely place and the food is fabulous.
This was an outstanding experience of culinary delights! Excellent wine selection and the presentation along with the flavor of the food was outstanding. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Lovely meal and personal service in a stunning and comfortable space.
Incredible services with a fantastic menu. The food is wonderful - after living in Europe for a few years, it felt like we were back. Wonderful meal.
LeRoux is really solid; the ambience is great. It has to be one of the swankiest places in Denver. The food is very good, wine list great and the service was wonderful. Thanks for a great experience!
The food was amazing! But we were pretty much ignored by our server. Management kept coming over to accommodate us because she was nowhere to be found
My husband and I went to LeRoux to celebrate our 4th Wedding Anniversary! We were definitely spoiled by this restaurant. The bartender, Brandon, was absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be back to see him and the wonderful staff! Food was EXCELLENT!
Thanks for making our evening so great!
I've dined in some of the best restaurants in NYC and this was right up there. Absolutely exquisite. I'll be back!
Great! Excellent service, food and. Wine.
Made our anniversary night very special. A delicious meal, service, and ambiance
This is the second time I've dined at LeRoux and it was fantastic. Our group of four shared the Fusilli Pasta with Butternut Squash & Parmigiano-Reggiano to start. This dish was even better than I'd expected - light, flavorful and marvelous. For my main course I had the Onion-Crusted Short Rib and it was, without doubt, the best entree I've ever had. Seriously. And I'm old. It was like nothing I've ever had before - the blend of flavors was fantastic and totally unique.
Ambience is great, including the fact that they have real candles in candle sticks on the tables. Interior colors are rich and decor interesting. I will always come back to LeRoux.
One of the best meals we've had in many years. The service was impeccable, the flavors freshness over the top. Little touches - each course was presented with a complete explanation of what was placed in front of each of us; the courses were plated in a way to complement the food; several staff members including the manager and chef came out to check on our satisfaction without being asked; the server was attentive without hovering or interrupting. We will return. Worth every dollar.
This is where I wish there was more than a simple "yes" or "no" in recommending a particular restaurant. In this case it would better be answered as "it depends". The price-points aren't low and the value-for-money isn't the greatest so it would depend upon which friend, and their bank account, whether I'd suggest it or not. Maybe more so, how willing they are to part with said bank account. The cuisine is, without question, fabulous, quality ingredients, great presentation albeit smallish portions. Served was terrific at first, less so near the end when the tables filled but still good. But given the prices - and charging $2.00 for a few small slices of bread is just ridiculous - there are many other outstanding restaurants in town so while we might return, it certainly won't be often. It makes for a good companion to their Cho-Lan (much better IMHO) and Cho-77 but maybe on expense accounts.
I loved the atmosphere of this place. So romantic! I recommend the octopus and the scallops.
Great experience. The beef tartare was one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Out for my gal’s birthday. The room we dined in was exquisite. A blue no blue on the paneled walls with a wonderful French crystal chandelier in the middle. A parquet floor exactly the same as in the bistro at the end of the block where we had petit dejuner (sp?) every morning. The dinner was amazing. She had the bouillabaisse which she said was the best ever, even better than she had in Barcelona this last May. Along with a mushroom plate that was amazing to look at let alone eat. My rather large bowl of French onion soup made of veal stock. The short rib needed no knife. Topped off with a birthday pumpkin ice cream for the Birthday Girl.
My wife and I ate at LeRoux for the first time last week. It was probably the best food and wine experience I have had in Denver in some years. Every dish was surprising (a broiled oyster with herbed gastriqe and an indescribable mushroom terrine are the most memorable) and delicious, except one: the foie pate was not surprising, but it was super delicious. We had their 5 course prix fixe meal with interesting and very good wine pairings. Before the third course was over we had made a December reservation for six for ourselves and Christmas houseguests.
Wow, Just Wow! LeRoux is a hit! Quiet, perfect for talking, french cuisine that is more art that food with flavors that are out of this world. 5 Star homerun. If you haven't been, go, immediately!
The ambiance of the restaurant was impressive as we entered. The back booth I requested was available and an ideal location for seeing the entire restaurant and the 16th Street Mall. The vibe was good, noise levels were moderate. Conversation was simple.
Jonathan, our server was polite, engaging and knew the menu well. We were disappointed that the Oysters were on the menu but not available. 3 Cheese appetizer was a great way to start, followed by lobster and scallops dishes. Both were delicious. The scallops were a bit salty, but prepared perfectly on nice firm mushrooms. Dessert was baked Alaska and a Pistachio selection. Both were interestingly complex and delicious.
The bartender and mixologist, Brandon did a super job preparing a Rye drink and explaining how it was designed and prepared.
Overall, a super experience for our anniversary celebration!
It’s was a first date so first impressions are everything!! Unfortunately it took 2 1/2 hours to actually get our main course and when we finally did the Scallops were cold and Small!!! Also bcz of the Delay we were late for another engagement that was planned booo too bad I we will not be returning!!
Hi there Labow, I'm very sorry to hear you were disappointed in your experience at LeRoux. Were our servers aware (or did they inquire) about your time restraints? Also, was our management team made aware of the wait/dissatisfaction with the scallops dish? If you'd like to provide more information please email me at savanna@cholonconcepts. Clearly the best meal I have had in Denver. We did a five course meal with wine pairing and it was perfect. Sat at bar and Brandon was outstanding and the pairings were spot on.
