The food was amazing and we had a large group so we were able to sample a large number of the tapas. The next time I'm in McMinnville I will go out of my way to dine at La Rambla!

What a delightful birthday dinner! Traveled from Denver with a group of 7 twenty-something gals to celebrate my birthday and experience Willamette wine country. Wide variety of food with vegan and vegetarian options. Having studied in Southern Spain during university, I had yet to experience a Spanish restaurant stateside that embodied the delicious food (drunk or not) during my time there. La Rambla delivered not only amazing food, it brought back cherished memories. They were super accommodating when I called the night of to change my reservation to the latest available that evening. 4 of us ordered the flat iron steak entree and that took longer than expected, but considering that we were a big group that showed up an hour before closing, it is understandable. Our host, Justin, kept the bread and olive oil flowing so our hanger was kept at bay. Looking forward to dine here next time we come back!

Very good food and service. A little too loud, however, for a romantic dinner. But the name does imply it’s a bar, too.

Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations since we wanted to try too many tapas and needed help narrowing down our options. My husband loves paella (I'm more ambivalent). He thought it was a tad dry, but had great flavor and still enjoyed. We're looking forward to going back and trying more tapas. Considering all the food we tried and the bottle of Rioja, the bill was very reasonable - a good value.

The food was amazing, as always! Service was spot on, very natural timing and she just kept brining tapas as we wrapped up our previous round. It was DELISH!

The dining experience at La Rambla is always exceptional! When I want to share a special occasion with friends, it is our first choice!

Food presentation and quality is always excellent. But, without warm and friendly staff, the restaurant would lose it's appeal. I believe our server that day was "Phil"...and he was wonderful. I also want to thank the person who took my online reservation request and was so thoughtful in reserving the front round table for our group. I am not sure if his name was "Justin", but I truly appreciated his call back and honoring my request. Thank you, Pamela Canaday

Delightful! I booked a large party here, for The McMinnville Short Film Festival. Everyone loved it. My only regret is that we don't have a La Rambla in Portland. Love the vibe. Keep up the great work!

Interesting food, superbly prepared, and in portions which even older folks with limited appetites could handle. The total experience was enormously pleasing with the exception of the energetic noise level.

A very popular place, so we were very glad we made reservations (couldn't get in until 7:30 that night :} ). The seafood paella was delicious, and the server was reassuring about my Gluten Free for Celiac status with the food. Would definitely go back if we were in the area!

We went at lunchtime and were the third group seated so not many people were present. That was a good thing as I heard this place can get swamped with customers in a hurry. Reservations are a must. I’ll get right into the food. Bread and olive oil are top notch as was the cauliflower side dish that we used as an appetizer since the paella takes 35-45 minutes to make. In the meantime we drank a beautiful Spanish White wine that was suggested by our server, who by the way was an excellent waiter with a good sense of humor and not overbearing or agitating. The Paella was the best I’ve ever had and the small version was more than enough for the 2 of us. We took leftovers home. The shining star was their freshly made curios served with warm chocolate for dipping which were so good that I felt guilty that our kids weren’t able to sample them with us that I ordered an order to go so they could have some at home. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in America. YOU NAILED IT AND WE WILL BE BACK!!! Well done to the owner, kitchen, and servers.

Ls Rambla is our favorite restaurant in McMinnville. The food is consistently good, service friendly and responsive and the atmosphere is festive. We don't eat out often but usually choose La Rambla when we do.

We love this place and our favorite tapa is the lamb nachos. Genious. We have never before ordered the Paella..our Birthday girl did. For a Spanish restaurant I would expect a decent Paella and am very disappointed. The rice was mushy like a wet risotto and having lived in Spain this was to say the least surprising.. I have to wonder and have doubts if the correct rice for a paella was used. In addition the rice was brownish red and not the vibrant color nor taste of saffron. Saffron is expensive but that's what a paella needs.I had raved about this pace but felt somewhat underwhelmed and sad this past visit. We will be back but order with great care.

What a nice surprise this restaurant was, while visiting McMinnville and googling restaurants to see where we might go for a birthday dinner. A Spanish restaurant with great paella here seemed too good to be true - but we decided to try it. Because the paella is made to order and takes about 45m, I called ahead and they were able to get it started. It was excellent...with a chorizo that was not too fiery, bits of pork shoulder, clams, mussels, prawns, etc., amidst perfectly seasoned rice, beautifully presented in a paella pan. The vibe there was suitably romantic, with attentive but not excessive service, gentle background music, soft lighting. We opted to have their wonderful homemade sangria rather than red wine with our meal. My husband also had chicken liver pate while I had arugula, beet and walnut salad for starters. We were so pleased with everything, and look forward to returning. Sharing our find with locals during our stay, every one had heard of it and thought well of it.

5 of us ordered the seafood stew and we all agreed it was delicious. The only thing the flatbread appetizer was too small to share even ordering 2 of them. Overall had a very fun time and wouldn't hesitate to be back!

I have enjoyed coming to La Rambla for years and I was not disappointed. As a Spanish tapas restaurant the trick is to get as many plates as you can so you can try bites of everything. And a great selection of wine to go along with it. Impressive Oregon Pinot list, but I had to go Spanish and had a very nice riserva Rioja. Keep up the great work.

La Rambla has a beautiful understated Art Nouveau decor with a romantic, blue backlit bar. The tapas we tried were tasty and beautifully presented. The mixed paella was delicious, and if we return would be hard-pressed not to have again. Come hungry because the portions are large. We were in McMinnville tasting wine, so we brought a nice Goodfellow Cellars Pinot, which the waitress opened for a $15 corking fee. She was charming, funny knowledgeable and quite helpful. Right in downtown, it is perfectly situated for walking wine tasting travelers.
