   Great Spanish food and service. However, noticed that paella did not have a crust from the paellero. This is because it was not cooled at high heat in the pan. Good flavor but would be better with crusted rice.

   Was looking for a nice place after just arriving in Santa Fe. La Boca fit our mood and interest perfectly. On arriving found the place nicely and reassuringly crowded but with reservations we’re seated immediately. The wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful in choosing both wine and dishes. All were perfect and we’re both fun and delicious. Highly recommend.

   Dinner at La Boca was a delight! The food and service were outstanding and the live Spanish guitar music (on Saturday night) was magical. We would tell that every single table was really enjoying the evening. Thank you La Boca!!

   Our dinner at La Boca was very memorable and defiant return the next time in Santa Fe. The food was excellent and the service provided by Sawyer our server was fantastic!!! The one weak point in the evening was our meeting with the manager. I’m guessing he was. We came in the wrong part of the restaurant for our reservation and was quickly told they weren’t open till 5 pm. It was 4:58 and the door was unlocked. We were taken to the correct part of the restaurant by a wonderful employee. The manager showed up later to the dining area where we were having dinner. When we left there was no thank you for coming in or hope you enjoyed you dinner. My husband told him that Sawyer have us excellent service and the response was a grunt. Must work on his people skills.

    My tapas lunch at La Boca was such a treat! Loved the tapas, my waiter was delightful and suggested a wonderful red wine to accompany the meat tapas I had chosen. I was in Santa Fe for two nights, and hadn’t been there since 1999! I would definitely eat here again.

    Simple restaurant with excellent food and helpful and attentive staff. Robust wine line list and a little something for everyone. Choice between Marcy Street dining and the Taberna. Occasional live music. Recommend reservations. A little expensive, but worth it.

    Went to La Boca, last minute, on a Sunday. Incredible experience! The gin and tonic was fun and different and Christine did an amazing job! She guided us through our tapas and paired them beautifully! This place and Christine are a must when in Santa Fe!

    Arrived for an early dinner (5pm) and were quickly seated. Our server was a bit quirky and seemed put off that we wanted to put in our drink order first so we had more time to decide on our food choices. We heard another server presenting the specials so asked our server about them and were told "it isn't 5pm yet so I can't tell you" even though it was well past 5pm. The fried manchego salad was delicious but was not a fan of the ham croquettes. They were a bit to mushy and battery on the inside. The seared yellowfin was amazing with the pea puree but really needed a cracker or bread accompaniment to make that plate really fantastic. The sangria was really good as was the signature gin and tonic. Overall average food, fair service, and excellent drinks. Might try it again to see if the other menu items are better and having a different server improved the overall dining experience.

    Too many tables crammed together in a very small space. Very noisy. Couldn’t wait to finish and leave. Generally an uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was good, though.

    The food and service were fantastic. We were a table of 2. We ordered 2 small plates to share and also had paella. Everything was delicious and the timing of the food was perfect. The wine list was great and our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and menu items.

    The food was excellent -- expertly prepared and delicious. Our party of two shared 6 tapas dishes and that was plenty (and of course we added dessert too). The service was outstanding -- attentive and knowledgeable. The wine suggestions were on point. The Marcy Street dining room is pleasant and comfortable (perhaps a little tight on space for the number of tables). We have found a new favorite and definitely plan to go back!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Boca! Walking in, we were greeted by a sweet and attentive host who actually acknowledged my dietary restrictions (noted on my OpenTable profile) and asked clarifying questions. We were seated at a lovely table that was perfect for our needs. Service was also warm and attentive. The food was amazing! The Grilled Eggplant was a delicious surprise of flavors. I may have to drive back to Santa Fe just to have it again. The Morcilla was another favorite. Overall, an excellent dining experience all around.

    Everything we’ve picked on two visits have been delicious. Don’t miss the mushroom soup if they have it as a special. Grouper and clams was excellent too as a special. Great wine selection.

    Absolutely fantastic! The service, the food, the wine - everything! We were a party of 5 and selected the small plates we wanted to try, but relied on the friendly staff to serve courses as she deemed appropriate. First time in Santa Fe and first time here, but would most certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting/living in Santa Fe!

    A well chosen list of Spanish wines, with a knowledgeable wait staff who helped us make excellent choices. With that were a wide range of tapas, all with excellent ingredients and carefully prepared. Standout items included the almonds and olives, the tabla mixta, and gambas al ajillo. It was a Friday night and there was a good guitarist and singer in the back dining room (that you have to reach via an outdoor courtyard. We have eaten in both rooms, different vibes but both good venues.

    Whenever I come to Santa Fe, I always try and stop and eat at La Boca for tapas. Last night I had grilled artichokes with orange zest, mint and goat cheese, lamb meatballs with garbanzo sauce and harissa, plus the shrimp with garlic and chili. For dessert, a cake with dark cherries and creme fraiche- all small plates of Deliciousness!!
