Duck Fat Fries
with Caramel Sauce & Sea Salt
Grilled Radicchio, Gorgonzola Dolce
A fantastic meal and a great place to celebrate. We were blown away by every plate and dessert.
Fantastic and JCP is now right atop our list of best restaurants in Santa Fe, along with Sazon. Everything about it is gourmet. One of the most creative and interesting menus I have seen in a long time. If you love flavors, you will enjoy Joseph’s.
Cute cute place once we found it on foot… not locals so it’s kind of tucked away. Female bartender was super attentive & informative while we waited for our table. Waitress energetic& very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was amazing, absolutely amazing and that is a from a trained chef who is extremely hard to impress:)
Such a fun spot, excellent menu and a great wine list!
One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. This is the one experience that was short of 5 stars. Girlfriend and I are 28- she was carded while I was not. This was a last minute reservation so she left her purse at home and was denied. Would understand us both not being allowed to drink but considering we are the same age and one is carded there is clearly an opportunity for bias. Will be back, just soured our date night.
Wonderful baked rabbit lasagna and wine list. I think COVID has slowed the kitchen, but a wonderful meal.
It had been several pandemic years since we had last eaten at Joseph's. While our memories of the restaurant were positive, we were thrilled with our meal last evening. Every dish was delicious and in some way unusual. The service was excellent. Our waitress Kira and the team of busboys and others who worked with her meant everything arrived in a timely way with a smile.
We will be back soon with friends to show off one of best restaurants in town.
Interesting food that was excellently prepared and delicious. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Food is wonderfully original. I haven't had a bad meal yet. The smoked trout salad was fresh and interesting with arugula, pears, pomegranate, walnuts, trout. Large portions and reasonable prices. Lots of choices.
Great atmosphere, good food, nice wine list and an exceptional hostess, Starr! WeI’ll be back!
Great service and very good food! We had the curry lamb and Skin on pan seared Covina for entrees and were very happy with the preparation
My son and I had dinner on New Year’s Day and everything was top notch! We started with the duck fat fries, and followed with a bowl of the curry carrot and crab soup which was sheer bliss. For our entrées, my son had the braised short rib dinner from the nightly specials and I had the root vegetable napoleon. Both meals were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and just the right portion. We finished with the butterscotch pudding and basil ice cream - so yummy. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. What a great way to kick off 2022! We can’t wait to come back.
Food was excellent, we tríed tuna tartar & duck fat fries, and steak au poivre & rabbit lasagna. The dessert was all right, would like to have other options
Everything was perfect, the timing which we ask our waitress to control from our opening New Years Eve toast, our starters then dinner through dessert and coffee. The wine was Sancerre and perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I went on a road trip with my son… it was a bonding trip!!! our server would not help with the password of the wifi and just seemed they were too eager to move our table … we asked for dessert and the check was already on the table…
Amazing food and wonderful ambiance. The chef is truly talented! Presentation was stunning and the chef has chosen to use handmade wood-fired ceramics for serving, which adds a unique element.
Exceptional dining experience. Attentive professional service. Backwaiters were honestly as thoughtful and good as main waiter. Deep but reasonable wine list. Creative cuisine. Truly great spot.
Love this Pub!
Really like the levels of food size-appetizers, small plates and grande…
Duck fat fries are worth the calories!!!!duck pad Thai-unusual but delish. Rabbit bolognese a must!
My first visit. The rabbit bolognese ravioli was amazing. Staff was attentive. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
My husband and I ate at Joseph’s for my birthday. This was our first time dining here and it won’t be our last. The food and service were outstanding. I especially loved the cozy, quiet atmosphere. Even tough it was crowded, they did a great job of not making it feel overwhelming. Joseph’s Culinary Pub will become a must for all of our future visits to Santa Fe.
Excellent food, wine and lovely atmosphere. Loved the polenta fries!
We had an amazing server, the courses were timed out perfectly, the quality of the food and presentation was exquisite. Best dinner I’ve had in a while.
On our return visit to Santa Fe, JCP is on the top of our dining list. Everything about dining here is special, from the hostess to the wait staff is a team dance of perfection. The quaint surroundings simply magnify the overall ambiance. Again tonight it was great and kudos also the great tasting no authentic tasting food… Joseph you are doing it right. Best regards
We had a great experience eating here on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and the service impeccable.
Menu was creative and inspired. Likewise the flavor was worth the trip.
As always, when my family come for dinner, our favorite dining experience in Santa Fe.
One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. I crave the succulent lamb burger, great wine, duck fried fries, and warm ambiance.
Out of this world! Creative! My sister and I shared 4 appetizers. We thought next time we would share 2 appetizers and one entree. We particularly enjoyed the liver pate and the ratatouille. Servings are generous and artfully displayed. We also had the cloud dessert. It was fun and interesting. Love this place!
Great food and service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Simply put, the best plant-based food in the city.
Busy time of year. Lucky to get reservations. Friendly staff, food quality was excellent. Glad it was slightly off the beaten track as it attracted more locals.
Always tantalizing to the palate!
Our “go-to” restaurant in Santa Fe. We’re local, so we get to “Joe’s” frequently. Consistently “great” cuisine, super service & eclectic vibe & decor. Intimate bar with full dining service & great selection of wines. A Santa Fe restaurant not to be missed!!!
Food was salty or had minimal taste. We hardly touched one dish but the server didn’t pay enough attention to ask about it. Not too bad for Santa Fe.
For nearly 30 years, Joseph's has been a favorite of mine, and it remains so - wonderful...always something new and delightful, and some old favorites remain on the menu: ie., polenta fries with gorgonzola cream and radicchio. The orange blossom tres leches cake was fabulous! It was very popular on this Friday eve, so noisy at first (7:00 pm) but then it quieted down before too long. Reliably excellent.
Great service. Tables too close together in this time. Food was mostly great - one of our 3 not so much. The chicken liver pate plate was terrific.
Cozy environment and beautiful food. Servers were charming and efficient. Highly recommend!
Great food. Comfortable and cozy. Good service.
Will return next time we are here.
This was our first time at JCP although we have lived in Santa Fe for 4 1/2 years. Our mistake! Everything was very good from the moment we were led to our table in this charming dining room. Service was very good from the moment we sat down to the end of our dinner. Flavors of our appetizers, entrees, and desserts were a wonderful fusion of tastes. We had different appetizers (my wife had a glorious looking tamale, I had the chicken liver mousse that came with a delightful assortment of crackers, toast, and duck liver flavored chips to serve as a foundation for the mousse) and we both had the duck confit pad Thai style which was wonderful and plentiful. Again, we chose different desserts: my wife had a chocolate torrine and I had the Tres Leches cake. I have never had a cake that literally dissolved in my mouth - meringue included. We both had coffee - black for my wife and cappuccino for me. The coffee, from a local coffee provider was a great ending to our dinner.
We will be back well before another 4 1/2 years unfolds.
