   They shouldn’t have things on the menu that are not a specialty. I would not recommend this place if you are a true seafood lover. Don’t waste your time or hard earned money!

   We arrived early and had to wait for our reservation to be ready which was fine. Our table was all the way back by the kitchen which is not hidden behind doors which was also fine. Our drink order was taken for 20 minutes or so, waited another 15 minutes to get them, had to stop someone to take our order after waiting for 15 minutes and that individual had no idea what was on the menu. We then listened to the chef yell and slam things at his servers all while our table and food was being completely ignored. When we got one of our three appetizers it was over cooked on one side and raw on another. Just an overall bad experience which puts huge stress on our family to find somewhere last minute to eat on Mother’s Day.

   Love this place: the food and oysters were great, the waitress kicked butt, and it was very cool they had the special on half off bottles of wine (or champagne). Always recommend going here, no matter what night of the week.

   The Halibut without the coating was excellent. I would suggest it be offered as an optional menu choice.

   Loved it. Denver/Boulder staple and a must visit. Amazing HH and all around balanced menu with the freshest seafood and quality cocktails.

   Simply a great experience with excellent food. You always know when going to Jax you will have an exceptional dining experience. Seafood was fresh and well prepared. Noah always makes excellent cocktails. Easily the best seafood restaurant in Denver.

   My almost $50 piece of Halibut was dry and overcooked. My wife’s food was fine but I think a fish restaurant should be able to serve a decent piece of fish, mine was not .

    Our server was great, as was the hostess. It was kinda loud inside. Food was fine. The bill seemed pricey. Not sure if I’ll go back.
