We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

Parking is FREE! We are located in the Opera Galleria building which has an attached parking garage with access from LaPorte b/w College and Mason, and on Mason b/w Mountain and LaPorte. The Max Transit System comes right to Old Town! Jax is between two stops you can either hop off at the Mountain stop on The Max or at the LaPorte stop. Walk one block south to College Ave. and we are half way up the block on the West side of College Ave.

Every time we dine here, we have such a wonderful experience. Celiac friendly, service is always 100% fresh food, and love love love the raw oysters! The bar is our favorite place to sit and visit with the friendly bartenders! Gotta check it out for sure!

Ordered the scallops ($42). Was served 4 scallops, what looked like green weeds that were too tough to eat. Maybe a parsnip piece that was also too tough to eat. Scallops were tasteless and mushy. Did not feel good after.

Always an excellent meal. Enjoyed the oysters and Ahi tuna entree, scallops are always a good choice as well. Exceptional service every time, menu changes semi frequently so something different available every visit. Best restaurant in Foco.

Jax is always our favorite place to visit when in Fort Collins. The service, food quality and wines are always appreciated. They have a new spring menu which keeps the best of the best but adds in some new favorites. The spring onion tater tots are my new favorite. Whatever magic they put into the recipe is special! The staff is always fantastic and is the #1 reason we come back here every time. Kudos to Jason, Chris and team for another great experience.

We were a little disappointed in the limited options and the price compared to the food quality. It's a reminder not to expect much from a seafood restaurant that's not near the source of its seafood.

We went to celebrate a college graduation. Everyone was extremely happy with their meal, especially the entrees. The fish was exceptional (catfish, salmon and chowder) and was clearly the star attraction. Most people enjoyed the side dishes as well, but both people who ordered the salmon agreed that the tater tots were not outstanding and there were better options for a side dish.

This was our first visit and we were excited, but it was a real let down. The food was truly sub par. My daughter’s kids burger was even weird and the fries had so much salt on them she couldn’t eat them. The bread we started with was not fresh- it was so chewy. My fish was over cooked. Our service was just ok. But sadly, we are a one and done with Jax!

Was not impressed with our server. She seemed like she did not care about our table, distant and hardly came around. Disappointing considering us 4 girls were out to celebrate mother’s day. Happy hour has changed and is not as good as it used to be. Hardly any food selections like there used to be. All around a disappointment.

As always, the Crackerjax were great - in fact, they were exceptionally delicious! We had the poke, which is good and the heirloom carrots were divine! We do miss the fish tank though... we will miss seeing the clownfish tending their eggs this year.

Great food and great service! I had the salmon and it was delicious. My husband had the poor boy and said it reminded him of New Orleans.

Parking is FREE! We are located in the Opera Galleria building which has an attached parking garage with access from LaPorte b/w College and Mason, and on Mason b/w Mountain and LaPorte. The first hour in the garage is free and we are HAPPY to validate your parking! Walk east from the structure thru the Galleria to access our door on College.

The Max Transit System comes right to Old Town! Jax is between two stops you can either hop off at the Mountain stop on The Max or at the LaPorte stop. Walk one block south to College Ave. and we are half way up the block on the West side of College Ave.
