We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    We are located in the Opera Galleria building which has an attached parking garage with access from LaPorte b/w College and Mason, and on Mason b/w Mountain and LaPorte. Walk east from the structure thru the Galleria to access our door on College. There is also ample street parking along College ave.

    The Max Transit System comes right to Old Town! Jax is between two stops you can either hop off at the Mountain stop on The Max or at the LaPorte stop. Walk one block south to College Ave. and we are half way up the block on the West side of College Ave.

    We were set in a table next to bar and the lady's were extremely loud. That took away from an otherwise excellent night.

    We’ve enjoyed Jax for years, although the experience of food and service was not as consistent as hoped. Very possibly, that has been corrected as the staff, food, and ambiance were outstanding. We’re looking forward to our next visit, expecting another memorable meal.

    Had a great time at Jax! Our server, Levi, was super friendly and attentive, taking good care of us. Food and drinks were fantastic and prepared fresh. One of favorite restaurants in Fort Collins!

    As always, fabulous! Love the small, sweet CrackJax oysters. We had scallops, salmon and Mahi Mahi and all were excellent.

    One of our favorite Fort Collins upscale restaurants. Who knew we’d get good seafood here? Their cucumber cocktail is a good way to start the summer. The grilled oysters are a reliable hit - always reliably good. I had scallops on a bed of risotto with several varieties of small mushrooms, and it was delicious. They just brought halibut back on the menu for the summer, and it is truly memorable. Wide and above average selection of wines by the glass, and a great selection of ports and dessert wines. The atmosphere is busy, sort of a NYC bistro vibe, so if anyone in your party is soft spoken, try to get a booth or sit outside. Summary: thank goodness we have this restaurant in FC.
