   Remarkable to find this restaurant in the middle of London in the 21st Century. Traditional vegan Japanese foods prepared imaginatively, delicious and served with grace and dedication. Ecologically sourced ingredients and in each dish underlying ethical principals. There were many choices in the menu which was a bit overwhelming nevertheless there is plenty of variety and meals for different tastes. I had tempura as part of my fare, an array of flavourful cooked and fermented delicacies and exquisite sushi with a mouth watering creamy sesame dessert. This is healing food that can be savoured and not rushed.

   Fab vegan organic Japanese food, the sets are very good value and there are lots of options. Service is a bit slow but polite. Ambiance is a bit lacking but it was quiet when we went. I will definitely return though!

   Quite expensive for what it is. Thought the food was good but not great. It did taste fresh though. worth a visit.

   Itadaki Zen was a little gem. The tired waiter was very understanding about the fact we were late for your table. The food was really delicious and very reasonably priced - we ate starters, a main and hot saki for £33. I'll definitely be going back.

   Itadaki zen in London is a vegetarian dream come true- i love Japanese food and this place is the only place i have been to where i could eat everything on the menu. Would definitely recommend to both my vegetarian and carnivorous friends!

   The sushi was okay, the spring rolls adequate. The food was bland and underwhelming. Not forgetting over-priced. Oh, but it is organic.

    Itadaki Zen, Kings Cross, London: I love this restaurant. Too bad about the slow service. But other than that, it is a real treat to come here for super healthy and delicious food. The vegan sushi rolls are delicious, as is the fried tofu starter. Try their teas, which are heavenly.
