I will first say we had wonderful service. No complaints there. We both ordered filets ($56 each) and asked for just vegetables. I emphasized to our server we wanted medium rare closer to rare. When the meal came out the filets were medium, tough on the outside because they were improperly seared, and not moist or flavorful. 6 measly stalks of asparagus accompanied the meat. I will never be back because of the poor food experience.

Buffalo cauliflower is a must appetizer. Burger is always solid, cheesesteak and scallop pasta also good go-tos. Actually hard to think of a dish there I didn't like. Drinks are absolutely on point!

I was disappointed to pay $12 to add one single scallop to my salad. Complete rip off. The service was also a little slow and the server would rush off before checking with everyone at the table in a party of six. My previous experiences have been delightful but it had been awhile. It was not the service and food that I was accustomed to, and I don’t think I’ll be going back there.

A fantastic night out to catch up with old friends. We had fantastic cocktails and highly recommend the pomegranate mule and the French 1700. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts, the Hatch Green Chile Mac n Cheese, and the Humboldt burger were devine. Make sure to leave room for dessert, the Smore's Topped Bread Pudding and the Key Lime Pie were worth it. As always the service and ambience were incredible. I highly recommend Humboldt for anyone looking for great food, service, and venue.

Had the special of the lamb t-bones. Absolutely fantastic. Service was great. He was too the point but very friendly and answered any questions. Other staff members always came to clear plates as soon as we were done. Hostess was friendly. Would definitely go back.

Food better than most restaurants, for sure. A little pricey, but they have 4 good cheaper options you can test them out on. We had the lamb burger, was undercooked in my opinion but good, and a Humbolt burger which was excellent. Drinks were exceptionally good as well. Will definitely be back and try some more expensive menu items.

This was my first time here. The service was great! We were checked on frequently but not too often. Our server was responsive and efficient. The food was just ok. I ordered the trout which was overcooked. The grits were good but not excellent. I had asked to switch out the green beans for the crispy Brussels sprouts and they brought both. The green beans were good and the Brussels were excellent! The chef has (or is) an excellent saucier! The brown butter citrus beurre blanc was exceptional! My friend had the dover sole and switched the fingerlings for potatoes au gratin. The dover sole was seriously fried (like deep fried). With such a delicate fish, that ruined it. The potatoes au gratin were not good at all. Instead of having thinly sliced potatoes layered with a luscious cheese sauce, they were layered with oil?? and had a thick smokey cheddary sauce spooned across the top. My friend wondered if it was cheez whiz. (It wasn't but the thickness suggests it could have been). Oddly she had the same brown butter citrus beurre blanc on her fish that I had on mine. I say oddly because the menu said the sauce was a lime beurre blanc. Overall it was a disappointing meal.

I enjoyed my ahi tuna salad, and my friends, liked their scallops and chicken dishes. Although the restaurant was crowded, the acoustics in the restaurant are better than most. Our waiter was very good.

I haven’t been to Humboldt in a couple of years and I should go more often. The menu is outstanding and consistent, the atmosphere both inside and on the patio is energetic, and the service is wonderful. It never disappoints.
