We liked the food, and the wait staff was excellent, but with as quiet as it was the conversations of the other staff were very loud and not exactly work appropriate. We started with a shared pleasure of French toast the raspberry sauce and flavor was good it was deposited and had a lovely crunch without being overly greasy. We each had brunch I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, the food was amazing. My wife had the crepe of the day, it was not as good, she loves crepes, but there was no option for a sweet crepe, only the savory version which she does not like as much. Our only real issue was the discussion that was going on in the kitchen area about preferred gun choices in some video game that could be hated from 20 yds away.
We celebrated our friends birthday and it was the perfect spot to do so. Super fun vibe, great drink selections, and the sushi was sooo good! I’d love to come back!
Staff was friendly and food was quick.
This is not your ordinary sushi restaurant. This is the fourth or fifth time I have dined here and it is always excellent. They make very unique items like Daikon fries, and chili aïoli jalapeño rolls with tempura shrimp- just a couple of examples. The cocktails are always excellent also.
Great variety and unique roll combos. Sushi fresh and well made. Service was excellent. I highly recommend the Surf & Turf roll.
The food was great and we truly enjoyed a nice meal as a family!
It's a restaurant that I frequently go to and I enjoy it every time.
Cute place, fast service. Cool sale flights
Greatt, as always! So many choices of sushi and sashimi!
Farewell to a coworker! Service was great 👍🏽
Always a great meal at Hapa! Consistent quality with service to match
Overall, the restaurant was great. The sushi got to our table -- even faster than my miso soup and my husband's drink. Would definitely go back though. Everything was delicious!
I love Hapa. However, the Boulder location has superior service and a friendlier environment. Our waiter was extremely aloof and never really checked up on our table. She was just socializing behind the bar the whole time.
Met with some friends- Hapa always has great food and service. It’s a little pricey, and the wait for food to arrive was a little long- but still tasted great!
Haven't been to Hapa in quite some time was happy to see they have maintained their excellent service and great food. Our waitress was fantastic!! In a time when customer service has become mediocre at best I was happily surprised.
My daughter and I met in Denver for a few days while she was working out of her company’s office there. Hapa was recommended by our hotel and it was wonderful. The sushi rolls were amazing and our waitress, Lauren, made the entire evening a delightful experience. Would recommend Hapa to anyone looking for a great sushi restaurant with many delicious alternatives for those who prefer cooked (versus raw) options.
B day great food
Came here after a show. Staff were very friendly and present. Suggestions were on point. I left something there after I left and the staff were so gracious to hold it until I came back!
Great food and service
Some of the best sushi I have ever had! Booty Call & Pacific Isle were amazing, and I enjoyed everything else that we got. I went with a group of 6, so we shared several appetizers, rolls, sashimi and everything was excellent!
This was our first time to hit happy hour before the theater. The service was great, the food was great and we were on time for the play.
Superb food, as always. Plus, if cocktails are your thing, the G-Spot is an incredible raspberry sake! Only thing is the indoor seating has plenty of air conditioning; we got a bit cold. But well worth the visit!
Very enjoyable. Food tasted great!
The food was excellent! The crowd was young and lively! What a fun evening!
We went in for a bachelorette dinner and they were great. I had flubbed the date and when they called me to confirm were cool with me changing the day. We arrived 10 minutes late but they still got us in without a problem. Food was a good quality with a decent variety. Service was timely and friendly. I have had long waits at other sushi places but these guys were on the ball. I honestly had a great experience with them and would love to go again when I am in town next. 10 of 10 would recommend
Hapa Sushi happy hour is awesome!! I LOVE sushi but some places give you such a small amount for a high price that it becomes very expensive. Hapa Sushi has a great variety of food and drinks for a reasonable cost. Will definitely go again!!
Such good sushi! And with a reservation it was a short wait. Was a little noisy, but that’s not Hapa’s fault so it didn’t make the experience any worse
Great choices, even our picky teen son found several items he enjoyed. We chose an upstairs table and this worked out great - quieter and more room. We dined during happy hour and chose most items from this menu, saved some $. We’ll go back.
Great food and great service. Nice happy hour for Denver.
The most delicious Japanese curry I have ever eaten!
We showed up at the appointed time exactly. Hapa was not busy, but Happy Hour had started and so we did order some of the starter specials. If you want an early-ish dinner, this is a great time to Hapa! One of my colleagues is deathly allergic to sesame and the server noted that restriction when ordering the Pork Bowl. The other two of us had the wonderful Poke bowls, Monkey Brains, and Hawaiian Calamari. The Pork Bowl arrive with sesame seeds sprinkled all over it. We had to send it back, obviously. Our Poke & starters were delicious, as always. It took quite a while for the kitchen to deliver another non-lethal Pork Bowl. We felt a bit uncomfortable eating our stuff while she was waiting, but she said it was okay. The server and the next-level manager came up and apologized and took the Pork Bowl off our ticket. That was nice, but I do wish the kitchen would read the tickets more precisely.
The meal was fine but that’s about it. I felt the sashimi combo pieces were cut much too thin and I wasn’t a fan of the mayonnaise used in their dishes. For a dinner for 2 it was about 100 dollars without drinks, it just wasn’t worth it.
It was great. Very consistent and good servoxe
Our server was absolutely amazing. I already liked this place but she really made this visit great!
Our waitress was super busy so we waited a lot. The upstairs room is really open so it’s fairly noisy. The food was excellent although pretty pricey, even for sushi. We may go back there - will likely seek some other spots to try.
Comfortable and relaxed, the food was amazing and service even better. Highly recommend.
Waitress was great but everything else was mediocre at best. Ambiance is trying to be chic but looks bad and cheapens the feel. Pictures of sushi were much better than what was served.
Great service, amazing sushi, cozy and romantic atmosphere. Hubby loved this place. It was his first time here and my second.
I had a great time with a coworker for the happy hour food and drink specials! Our server, Madison was fantastic she was attentive and provided timely service. The food was delicious and great portion size. The happy hour cocktails were delicious too! I’ll defiantly be back soon!
Sushi is amazing here. Doesn’t break the bank in terms of sushi but amazing either way.
