They didn’t have any sweet wines.
The highlight of our visit here was the crab cake appetizer for Restaurant Week and the lady who I assume was the manager who kept checking on us/picking up the slack from our server. Other than that.. it was miss...
I have to admit that I was super disappointed with our first visit here. Although the outside patio was great and the interior art was really cool to look at, the rest was less satisfactory.. our server wasn't friendly (and I'm a big fan of customer service). It took him 15 mins to say hi to us we sat down and another 15 to bring drinks over. My problem with that is that he only had another 2 top other than us so I'm not sure what kept him so busy. Luckily we had the lady manager (I'm assuming) who came over more frequently throughout our meal to bring the next course/check in on us. The crab cake was good but the rest was very average. I would not pay $35/meal.. maybe $20...
All in all.. I wouldn't recommend this place.
The staff at Fire is super friendly, service was top notch, and the food was excellent. Tables were appropriately spaced for COVID and we felt safe. It was a great experience!
Staff was excellent and the overall experience was fantastic will definitely be booking again.
Went for restaurant week and was delightfully surprised. Everything was amazing.
Was hoping for a more impressive dining experience for my 11 year anniversary. Maybe the place would have more of a vibe if it wasn’t for COVID. The food was simply ok. Nothing special. The server was very polite and attentive but as there were only like 10 people in the place on a Saturday that may not be the case in a busy night but non the less no complaints with service. The plus is the outside Terrance with lounge seating and fire pits.
We had dinner reservations, sat outside on the patio with the fire pits. It was a chilly night in Denver and the fire just made it beautiful. Great drinks, food and service.
Lovely evening on the patio with chicken wings and shrimp
Tacos. A true delight!
We were in town for our birthdays and choose this place for my girlfriend birthday dinner. She loves Colorado and patios. The spot was perfect - food was amazing and cocktails were just as delicious. Our server was the best! Ugh I wish I remembered her name for special shout out but she did say she use to love by the hotel we were staying at The Warwick. Definitely recommend and will come again!
Risotto, corn soup, and wedge salad were all amazing.
Don’t take the steak salad off the menu. Lovely room, nice menu, great food. Big plus is free valet parking for diners. We use this every time we attend a patron opening event at DAM.
One of our party had the ahi tuna sandwich which she was disappointed in. She thought it was quite bland and needed at minimum a little salt.
Great view and place, very nice service! Had a great birthday experience
Mini moon💖
Nice staff and nice view.
Over all we had great time and our friend had a great birthday. The drinks where awesome and the man that sat our table was so nice and helpful. He even got our fire pit working when we were told it wasn’t working at first. Really appreciated him going above and beyond for our experience.
Well done hotel restaurant
We couldn't even get a server to come to our table. It was super weird, honestly.
We came to Fire to celebrate our anniversary. The patio was just as pictured, a beautiful space. We were seated at a "cabana" which had couches and a fire pit. It was lovely! We waited, and waited, and waited for someone to talk to us. When I approached the bar, there were several servers standing around. When a waitress finally came to talk to us, she just dropped off the QR code, then disappeared for a while again. We were finally able to order two beers from her. The few interactions we had with her (someone else delivered our beers) appeared to be an annoyance to her. We had planned to stay for dinner, but instead paid for our beers and found a restaurant nearby where we had a delightful dinner where we were well taken care of. So much potential, but we were very disappointed.
We were probably the last table that got sat but that didn’t stop our server from making us feel so welcome! She was very attentive and sweet. Wish I could have remembered her name for next time! Thank you! We will be back.
The fireplace was not working, the outside chairs were not comfortable for someone who has short legs, and the food and drinks were very overpriced.
Always a pleasure coming here for dinner or drinks!
Servers were rude. Displayed no skills in customer service.
Love this place. Visit frequently during social hour and the staff are very friendly. Enjoy sitting on the patio cabanas. The old fashion is a regular request and the truffle fries are delicious. The chefs will adjust menu for special diets. One of my favorite destinations for a quick meet-up with friends.
Our server was absolutely spectacular. So friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and bottomless mimosas. The room is beautiful and the view is so much fun.
For some reason, staff was not friendly at all. There were eye rolls as we were getting our orders taken. Not quite sure if they were having an off-night. Other than that, the food was great.
Very creative drinks perfect date spot.
Wonderful location; wonderful setting! Grand roof top settiing.
Beautiful modern artsy setting and great friendly service! Food was decent and a very straightforward easy menu. Brought family from out of town here and it was a perfect choice for a Sunday brunch because it was not too crowded and loud so they we could catch up!
A good place for a meal near the Denver Art Museum.
We stayed overnight at the hotel and had breakfast at Fire in the morning. Due to Covid-19 not super busy and reduced staff, but our service was perfect. I wish I knew the names of the the two female servers. They played the part of hostess, bartender, server, bus boy with a smile.
We enjoyed our breakfast and drinks and the ambiance of the restaurant it very nice! We plan to do another staycation and will have breakfast again.
Despite having a reservation at what we thought was a nice downtown Denver restaurant, after waiting for a few minutes we were told to "sit at any high top". The ambiance of the restaurant says "avant-garde" with an edginess, nice urban views, glass, and metal with art installations. However, the service and menu don't match. "Grilled" appetizer was cold (clearly the bread and peaches were grilled earlier in the day). Entrees had a reasonable taste but the steak was overcooked and the presentation was lacking. The Jackson Pollock drink needs much less time with the rosemary - it's very, very bitter due to over-infusing. Drank first glass of water early in the meal and was never refilled. Cocktails and wine took a long time to prepare. Staff were super accommodating and pleasant to us, but clearly not well trained and very understaffed. This restaurant is reasonable for a quick bite or room service. I wouldn't recommend it for a nice dinner out for business or for pleasure.
Amazing food and views. A must if your visiting from out of town. Staff was kind, knowledgeable and swift.
We went to the restaurant early after the museum tour. They took us right away and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace.
Great service and fun food. Went during the week and there was not many people there but it was nice for my husband and I to have space to ourself.
We walked in and weren’t sure where to check I. For our dinner reservations. After being asked for a credit card and ID the clerk searched for our reservations for 15 minutes even using my phone to view the confirmation number from the app Opentable only to figure out we were there for dinner and not to stay the night. We got to our corner table near a window which was ok but had a basic view. We ordered the wings for $9 from the apps menu and received 4 drums and 1 flat for a total of 5 wings. I requested the wings be cooked hard meaning extra done. They came out still soft and the flavor was mediocre. We also ordered the beyond impossible fire burger which was surprisingly great. We ordered sides of fries which were better than the food and drinks combined. No complaints on the service, our server had great energy and was sweet.
Instead of being greeted I had to find someone and then the waitress never came over to me just was cleaning a table and said, “are your friends coming since we close at 1?” This was 1230 and clearly they were accepting reservations. She never came to wait on me and kept cleaning tables I’m assuming since my friends weren’t there. She finally came over and since she hadn’t asked what i wanted to drink I said “do we need to go elsewhere as we want to enjoy drinks and food ?” She stated back, “as long as you put food in by 1...” the space is so amazing and beautiful and they could truly make it an amazing experience and we would have spent a ton of money if we were not made to feel a bother. We just ordered one drink and two entrees to munch on quickly and the food was bland and not fresh. My friends and I kept acknowledging the amazing potential of this space. A new marketing strategy this could easily be done on IG or other social media outlets and it could become the hottest new spot.
Great service, cocktails and fries
Condensed brunch menu only offered 3-4 items. Food was ok, service from Kendra was terrible and she was disrespectful to us.
Great views of the city, service and food!
