   Very sad to see the elegance of the decor stripped to a very sterile doctor’s office feel. The plastic green ivy along the windows didn’t help. Also very sad to see Sunday brunch buffet gone. What remains of the menu is simply average. The live jazz was enjoyable. The staff is still wonderful. We visited this place consistently for 21 years on our anniversary. We will not return.

   It was the most wonderful and beautiful way to spend Easter Sunday with my husband and kids! We are hoping to make it a tradition!

   Went for jazz brunch. Service was very engaging, but they seemed under staffed. The lights were too bright, making the ambiance feel more cafeteria than fine dining. Lack of decorations made the place feel sparse. Food was ok, not worth going out of your way for but decent. The jazz band was great.

   The Ellyngton’s remodel was at best unremarkable. It has lost its original charm and beauty.

   My husband and I are here visiting and went here based on a Yelp review. The food and service were excellent! We would definitely eat there again!

   Sadly pretty disappointing for such a historical hotel, with such a good reputation. The new renovation was nothing to be desired.

   Server was good, food was ok, but there was a big dog in the dining room with one of the patrons. That felt icky and not sanitary for such a nice establishment. Not sure if the dog was a service dog cause there was no indication but the dog was big and hairy and I didn’t not feel that was appropriate for a dining establishment.
