    Caitlin and Dan always make us so welcome. It’s our go to restaurant for sure. Chef Ziggy is the best! The food is always delicious and creative. All the wait staff are attentive and friendly. Best of all we have also made wonderful friends there with staff and other diners. It is the kind of place conducive for friendships and fun.

    Food was good and the service was very good. Great drinks. I just love this place. I do wish there were more vegetarian options. My wife loved the chicken and polenta and I had the veggie pizza. We will definitely be back. Wish you were closer to my house.

    Everything was excellent except the pizza I ordered which tasted very strange. I didn’t get sick afterwards but I didn’t feel great either.

    El Nido by far has been the best food we’ve had in Santa Fe. We don’t know where to go tonight because nothing will match El Nido. The black garlic gnocchi are ridiculously good, the chickpeas are beyond incredible. My bd said the burger was the best he’s had. Our server was absolutely amazing, too..wish I could remember her name. Always available but never hovering or obviously present. One of the owners reached out to me directly to apologize for cancelling our original reservation due to a snow storm. Above & Beyond. We had an overall exceptional experience, and plan to make El Nido our first stop the next time we visit Santa Fe!

    It was half-price wine (over $100) Wednesday, and my companion and I shared a 2015 Dirupe Grumello (Nebbiolo) from Valtellina Superior for $75, which was a great restaurant price. It was recommended for us and decanted by the wine steward. We also had an appetizer of tempura chile stuffed with whole shrimp that was delicious, followed by a good burrata and pesto pizza and a side of wild mushrooms. Altogether a terrific evening.

    We arrived for an early dinner and were warmly welcomed into a cozy, quiet environment. Our server, Tiffany, was fabulous. Attentive but not overly so because we wanted to chat a lot. She gave us plenty of space, but kept an eye on us. We had El Nido 's signature chick peas! And decided to share about five dishes all which were superb. We will be back again, and again!

    Convenient place to dine when attending the opera. Skip the chef’s exhibition counter because it’s drafty and you can’t really see the chef.

    I had not been to ElNido in years and was happy to have our Thanksgiving dinner there. The service was excellent and the food delicious. It was also much quieter than most restaurants, which made it better to have conversation. I will be back soon just to explore more of what you have to offer. Thank you, Laura Moore

    We had Thanksgiving at El Nido (there were six of us) and it was so wonderful! It was a memorable holiday. The ambiance, the service and the food was perfect! We highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

    Went here for Thanksgiving diner. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was very good except for portion size for the crab cake and the small sliver of the pumpkin pie. It would be nice if they included dark turkey pieces along with white meat. The cost of the meal was $90 plus mandatory tip. That seemed high for the meal we were served.

    The poblano and the spinach were a little bland, but everything else (branzino, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts) were fantastic, as was the service and ambience.

    Always a wonderful meal and evening at El Nido. We loved the new menu of apps and small plates. Could have made a meal of those things alone. I think we will come back and do that some time soon.

    Had a wonderful dinner in the main part of the restaurant. Enjoyed the olive tapenade and shrimp scampi. Food menu is a bit limited but had some good options. Fantastic service by Lena. She gave us everything we needed but wasn’t intrusive. Cocktails were very tasty. Bar room looked very popular, with the bar top full. We heard their winter menu is in the works so we can’t wait to try that! We will be back.

    We love our evenings at El Nido. The tapanade and red-chile street corn for starters, plus the grilled watermelon and burrata salad. Delish entrees included paella (special), the stuffed poblano, a burger and the Nido pizza. The waitstaff, including Carlos and Lena, is top-notch, attentive and warm.

    This is the best dinner we've had in Santa Fe! Service was attentive. Chef made sure we were enjoying the food. The restaurant was busy and staff and clientele seemed happy and organized. Our appetizers set the stage: The artichoke dish was creative and delicious. Shrimp scampi came with a fabulous sauce that was unexpected. Our entrees (chicken limoncello, rib eye steak) were superb. We live here, so we will be back numerous times.

    The mushroom ravioli was terrible. The dough was tough and thick, and didn’t seem fully cooked. Overpriced at $32. The Caesar salad seems to be the chopped salad salad you get out of a bag from a grocery store. The service and pizza were good.

    We were disappointed that the 6 oz filet is no longer on the menu and that the marinated artichoke heart has gone down to 1 piece. Otherwise, enjoyed our meal as usual.

    Visited El Nido when it first opened and this visit hasn't changed our opinion. Great roadhouse ambience, interesting variety of food, good selection of wines and friendly service. Our starters were stuffed artichoke heart and tempura htch chile. Good flavors meant to be shared by the table. Entrees of wagyu bavette and wild mushroom ravioli were interesting. The carrots and the empanada with the wagyu were a perfect complement. You will find a strong selection of wines for any entree. Burnt basque cheesecake had to be tried. Worth it. Our server Lesley was tremendous. The original El Nido was a Tesuque treasure and this version tries to live up to it.

    We love El Nido and go often. I have to say, I miss Janine who always made you feel welcome. The service is excellent as always, fantastic waitstaff and food runners. But for the first time, my salmon was almost raw. They resolved it but this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem with the food. We will continue to go to El Nido, maybe this was just a bad night. It is an awesome place.
