Great service. Good food. Fun evening
Miguel was great and recommended some great dishes!
Well executed, interesting and eclectic menu.
I’ve been in the service industry for over 20 years and I know how things go. Everything was delightful but I was a little bummed about our final moments. We were a party of 7 and I wasn’t paying but being treated by another. The server did not inform my friend that he’d not included the 20% gratuity. I 100% agree that parties of 6 or more have gratuity added but it should be disclosed regardless. I took it upon myself to check as we were leaving and gave it a quick glance and noticed my friend had tipped an additional 25% not realizing it’d been added already. I gave it to my friend and he adjusted his tip so it totaled 25% still but it really left a bad taste in my mouth. We live in Tesuque and frequent El Nido so this just rubbed me wrong to try and get a double tip from us.
Location, Ambience, Service and Presentation were excellent. Price was high for the quality of the steak. Would give them another chance for a different dish.
We stopped by on a Wednesday evening, surprised to find the dining room full. The crowd seemed to be mostly locals. They have a gem and should count themselves lucky to have El Nido in their neighborhood. The wait staff was very attentive and on point. The chef did an amazing job with my limoncello chicken-even substituting the potatoes for the seasonal veggie, at my request. Hubs had the clam linguini-red sauce with chorizo. He ate every last drop and declared it a great success! The wines were on point as well. Very pleasant experience and we hope to be back soon, worth the drive from ABQ.
The food was outstanding, the service very good and the atmosphere was very comfortable and amenable to easy conversation.
The Tomahawk porkchop was one of the best porkchops I've ever had. The Limoncello chicken was excellent as was the Fillet plus empanadas, and the fourth person in our party had the Rainbow Trout, which he'd had many times before and enjoyed greatly last night as well.
The lemon tart was also very good, and the flourless chocolate cake excellent.
The garlic crustini was similarly great as was the chickpea starter, and the Farmer's salad. The only part of our dinner that was so-so was the coffee.
In short, a good time and a good meal was had by all...we closed the place, but no one rushed us out. One of the best meals we've had in Santa Fe in the few months we've been here.
We had a great evening at El Nido, The food was awesome and service great, we sat in bar, quiet, great service. Had reservation and were seated right away.
Our server was excellent and took extra care of us. The food was outstanding!
Always a pleasure
Nice to get away from downtown Santa Fe for a change of pace. The pasta bolognese was outstanding, as we The Firestone, which was like a tequila-based cosmo. Definitely would return.
It was a magical night … We all love this restaurant . Nights like this one are made to be remembered . Outstanding all around !
This is a consistently great restaurant to dine at. You won't be disappointed. I would easily rank this in my top 5 in Santa Fe and would recommend it to anyone visiting.
We were at El Nido for a birthday celebration. Our reservation was on the patio, but the patio had been taken over for a private party. We had been assured that we could have an indoor table isolated enough that we would have some distance between us and other restaurant guests, but when we got to the restaurant, we were told there weren’t any isolated tables available.
The manager Janine, intervened, and was able to secure a table for us in the sushi part of the restaurant. We had a very lovely and attentive server, Jang, who was efficient and really sweet. She made sure our needs were met and that we were comfortable and enjoying our food.
What could have been a disaster turned out to be a great experience. The food was nicely presented and truly delicious. If you go, try the artichoke starter….really yummy. The flourless chocolate cake was also a not-to-be missed dessert. And, the entire room of guests joined in in singing happy birthday , making the experience memorable and fun.
The restaurant doesn’t have the most beautiful decor but is warm and inviting., and the food and service are really great.
A warm thanks to Janine and Jang for making our celebration so special.
We are so pleased with how well El Nido is doing. We love Tesuque and it is great to havé such a wonderful restaurant in thé area.
Always a treat to dine at El Nido. Best kept secret in Santa Fe area. Food is outstanding and the ambiance is second to none.
Night out was fun. ⭐️
This is a hidden jewel of a great restaurant in Santa Fe, just sorry we had never discovered it earlier.
Awesome food and service.
Every food item we had was fantastic. The service was prompt and attentive. We will be back!
Love this restaurant it is always consistent and the food is good.
Food and service were both very good. Ate here twice during our week stay and were pleased both times.
great restaurant but server was slow to check in with us during our meal
Awesome restaurant. Excellent service and food was outstanding! Highly recommended!
Noticed a number of guests walking through restaurant without masks.
Loved the vibe, decor, and staff. It feels like a local place that you could dine frequently. The menu was refreshing as not totally overdone like many other restaurants in the area. It was the best overall dining experience we had in Santa Fe.
We were there for the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Hall Vineyard dinner and it was spectacular! This was our first time here and I have already made another reservation for us with out of town guests. We will be regulars! The owners are charming and delightful and we can't wait to visit the Sushi cafe as well.
This was one of the best Wine and Chile dinners we ever attended. The food and wine were fantastic and the service was excellent. I was really impressed with everything.
As previously order, pizza and cesear salads were very good. Like most of the restaurants appeared to be challenged with some staffing but the food came out timely. Cocktail was skimpy which is an issue for me as I include the generosity of the our to my list of returning. Hostess is always sweet and great at her position.
Fun and unique place that felt a bit more genuine than many restaurants in Santa Fe. We had very good food and we’re sitting in the booth area of the bar. Will definitely come back here.
We had the most amazing dinner at El Nido. All of our dishes were outstanding. The filet with empanadas was so delicious that we ordered extra empanadas! The limoncello chicken, baked artichokes and flourless chocolate cake were also outstanding. Our waiter, Carlos, was friendly and witty and really made our evening memorable. Beautiful atmosphere with a lovely grill.
Lovely spot for an early supper as we drove north to Taos.
Absolutely wonderful meal for 4 of us. Our friends who had never been to El Nido, raved about everything and we decided the fig/ prosciutto pizza was the best pizza we have ever had.
Beautiful decor, charming and very professional service and very excellent food. Firestone (?) cocktails went down a treat as did the artichoke appetizer..
We dined at El Nido to celebrate a birthday and we loved everything about this restaurant. From the moment we walked in we had such great service. The food is stellar and our waitress Leslie made our dinner outstanding.
The waiter was very friendly, but professional. We felt special, but not bothered. His recommendations were excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the artichokes as an appetizer and the filet & empanada for our entree. They were fabulous!
The only quirky thing was the parking. We had to park down the street and walk back
Go! You’ll love it.
Great food, bad service, expensive, horrible appetizer options, expensive drinks, bad beer selection, long wait for dinner to be served, parking not great
Great bartender...great drinks. Pizza gave me a heartburn but I think that was just my sensitive stomach.
It was all good the only minor flaw is that the chicken was a tad tuff. For the price I expected perfection but hey nothing is perfect.
