One of those chefs that uses 34 ingredients in one dish. At the end, you don't even know what you are eating. Good ideas and execution but ruined by too much of everything. Wine glasses extremely expensive. Decoration and ambience non existent.
Anniversary dinner and our first visit. Outstanding!! We chose to dine outside due to Covid so the ambiance was not as highly rated.
This was a wonderful experience. We've been to Edison Food and Drinks Lab before and always enjoyed the delicious food and drinks and beautiful ambiance, but hadn't been out to dinner since the pandemic started. We reserved a spot on the patio, outdoors, that was very comfortable and pretty, with the tables set far apart and all safety precautions being followed. We felt very safe and comfortable there. The food was outstanding as always, and we had some fun drinks before and during dinner. The service was outstanding.
This place is outstanding! It is our new favorite restaurant. Make sure to save room for desert.

This was our first time dining here and everything was outstanding. The drinks were delicious and the food as well. We had an amazing waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and questions we asked. Will definitely come back

Simple but nice decorations. Jilian our waitress was very helpful and nice. The food was the star of the night. Must have the potato crusted oysters. Outstanding. We were not very hungry so we ordered two appetizers. Very well prepared and 'different'.
The crowd was sparse but we attribute that to COVID
Celebrated my sister’s bday here- great friendly service and wonderful food! The wagyu steak with popcorn and the mile 12 red wine were my favorites.
Incredibly talented Chef. A cultivation of flavors and beautiful presentation. A very unique cuisine like nothing I’ve ever had. Truly worth the trip from Orlando. Awesome job chef. Please keep it up.
What a disappointment! I was so looking forward to a great food experience .
My wife ordered the duck breast. It came over a bed of "puffy rice" which sounded very interesting. Unfortunately there were rice krispies ! Very spicy and barely edible. The sauce clashed with the heat of the rice krispies . The breast was dry and no taste to it .
I ordered the charged grilled octopus which is one of my all time favorite dishes ,I probably had 50 different versions of it and this one was just a C- at best. Over all just SKIP IT.
Always a hit with us. Great for foodies. Excellent atmosphere and service, just a great and reliable good night out at Edison.

Matthew was our waiter and hands down the best service we’ve had just about anywhere. He went out of his way to provide answers and information on our silly questions. He made our experience one that made me want to write a review which I never do. The food is always creative, perfectly seasoned, cooked and presented. Love the remodel too!
It was a nice little restaurant for the first stop on our anniversary staycation. Everyone was wearing masks (properly) and the tables were socially distanced. Our waitress was friendly and the staff was great even though we stayed back quite late because we arrived late but they still accommodated us. Food was amazing, had the steak tartare and bone marrow with oysters to start. I had the steak and my fiancé had the scallops. Both meals were delicious and we left very full. The food has a twist from what is considered “normal” so don’t expect a Ruth’s steak or anything.
Food is always ridiculously good, and the servers are always extremely helpful. I'm thoroughly convinced there will never be anything displeasing on the ever changing menu. Favorite date spot in Tampa for the experience and exquisite food.
Enjoyed the creative "Miami" tasting menu which was delicious! Plan to book the rest of these special Florida themed tasting menus. Have never had a less than excellent meal at the Edison. Hoping that their lunches will return sometime soon.
We used to be big fans prior to COVID, but things have definitely changed. The wait staff was not polished or overly professional. I had the steak tartare to begin. The accompaniments were so strong flavored that the only thing I couldn’t taste was the beef. Smoked buratta was pretty good. Had the lobster tagliatelle for dinner and was very disappointed. Very little pasta for $39 and the sauce had no flavor. There were two pieces of what tasted like boiled lobster with no seasoning or sauce, bland and boring. I used to like Edison for their bold use of flavors that went so well together without overpowering the dish. I’m betting they have a new chef along with their new menu. Will be watching the reviews to see if we go back again

Everything was extraordinary, from the moment we checked in till the time we got the bill. Not to mention the food, and drinks!!!! Omg... soooo good, and everything had something special about it! Julian (sorry if I’m not spelling it right), our waitress, was great! We will definitely be back!
Second time here and it doesn’t disappoint. Pretty much anything you order is always so delicious. Cocktails are so on point as well.
Haven’t been in since COVID it is one of our top 5 AND you all did not loose your FABULOUS! Weekend before dined at you sister restaurant and that was equally a taste bud treat!
Great food and drink experience. Reminded us of experimental food and drinks we had in Chicago, Dallas, and DC. Menu constantly changes and you won't be disappointed.
The owner and the waiter were excellent. The food was exquisite, hearty, and creative. I enjoyed the ambiance of it all. Great vibes all around. I was highly impressed.
Wanted to try out anew restaurant for my Birthday this year and came across this restaurant. We were 1 of only 2 occupied tables. Needless to say our reservation was definitely not necessary. Food was ok, was expecting better. Looked up menu before going and most of what we wanted to try was not even available. Service was mediocre. Would not waste time and money to revisit. Too many good restaurants in Tampa to try.
We had a great meal and service . Enjoyed the new decor also . Missed the valet parking but we understand the new normal ! Will be back soon .

Great flavors on all of the plates
As always, the food was amazing. It was our 12th wedding anniversary and Matthew took great care of us. The manager, who seated us, was amazing too! He is always there, lol. I can never complain about Edison. I love the way the dining room looks. New exciting changes. Thank you again to everyone who made our anniversary so special! Get the short rib! The pork belly! And for a finale, always get their butter cake!
Service was good but a little slow, it took too long between drinks
We are very avid Rooster and Till customer we wanted to try someplace new. The dinner was good I had the Seared Tuna as a starter 5 stars and the Charred Octopus 4 stars I also had an Espresso Martini I will say Bonefish are better. My husband had the Roasted Bone Marrow as a starter is was good I think it more of a acquired taste. For dinner he had Seafood Piperade it was good but his clams were shell only no clam which I think should have been caught before being served also it said chorizo and if it was there he could not find it.
We did not take pics of our meal. Not sure we would return anytime in the near future. Went to Bern’s for dessert.
