Great food! Attention to detail is outstanding. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Wonderful, inventive cuisine in a cool vibe atmosphere. Our server, Jillian was great. Very knowledgeable, charming and gave excellent recommendations. We will return!
Amazing flavors and creative presentation.
It's a fantastic food adventure. Each of the dishes we had were unique and very flavorful. We will definitely return for more.
Excellent service and food.
Going to Edisons was a pure delight! The combinations of different spices; vegetables; fruits etc made each dish a wonderment to the palate.......everything from appetizers, salads to main courses were amazing! The evening was amazing because of the fusion of all the different flavors......We will be back again.....
The food is creative and delicious!
I went her with my girlfriend for the first time and we both loved it! The cocktails are amazing! Everything we had from the pork belly to the pulpo which was my favorite was good! Easy top 3 favorite restaurants of mine. I can’t wait to go back again!
Wow, everything was excellent — service, food, presentation, ambiance. Really our kinda place.
It's a great location with tons of potential. Since having a full house seems to cause serving issues and mistakes (and a great deal of noise), then try to get there at less crowded times!
We were with another couple visiting Tampa and found Edison through the Thrillist website. We were not disappointed! Our server was very helpful with drink recommendations and we were all pleased with our choices.
We shared potato crusted oysters - beautiful! I usually prefer raw but these weren’t heavy and the oyster was plump and juicy. I can see why it has been on their menu for 7 years.
Tuna tartare - a generous portion. The kimchi gave it a nice kick without being overpowering. The cabbage leaves were a welcome accompaniment.
Cheese board - well rounded and not too many choices to be overwhelming.
My husband and I shared small plates for our entree. Bone marrow - I wasn’t sure at first how the cheese toast would pair but it was a delightful twist.
Octopus salad - it had a little too much char for me but my husband loved it.
Pork belly chicharron - very good.
Service was outstanding other than one minor hiccup when my brothers entree was delayed in coming out with the rest of our meals. I was on crutches during our visit and everyone was very accommodating and gracious.
Once again a perfect evening. Dinner was delicious and we took our time visiting and talking and our waiter was very gracious about that! Excellent service.
Great food and service!
This last experience left us a little disappointed considering how much we enjoyed our last experience there. The flavor of the food was ok - not excellent. The Grouper we ordered was WAY overcooked which ruined the entire dish for us. However, the service was excellent and the staff couldn't be more friendly, efficient and accommodating. The drinks were spectacular!
That was so disappointing. Not sure what happened. All reviews make this place sound wonderful. But our service was terrible. It took almost 20 minutes to even get a server to come to the table. And it never improved. We had to get busboy right find our server at least twice.
Then there was the food. Five of six plates were barely warm (the sixth plate was tuna tartare so it was also cold but that was at least ok). Room temp shrimp, congealed sauces, lukewarm bisque with soggy potato chips (I’m sure they were meant to be crisp). I don’t know whether the problem was in the kitchen or the wait staff, but to miss so badly and so consistently ...
Drinks were great!
One of the best meals ever...every item was beautiful and tasted better than expected. The service was as perfect as the food.
Delicious and great service. Can't wait to return. 5 stars.
The food was good, but the service was slow. We sat at the bar and the bartender was not very friendly. He was clearly busy, but was quite rude when we asked questions. It took us an hour to get our food.
Birthday for my wife and her sister
Chef Andrea continues to keep it interesting! This is a restaurant for diners who appreciate nuances of flavor, texture and who have a little sense of humor. The most surprising dish to me this visit was the black bean and mushroom soup! What a shocker! Was not expecting such a supreme delight! Absolutely loved this soup. Just wow. We will be back as always to enjoy the ever changing menu.
One of the best places in the Bay Area (not just Tampa, we live in St Pete). Every menu item is unique with awesome bartenders, wait staff, and kitchen.
Always a pleasure to dine at Edison. Great food and great staff. Love the potato crusted oysters and beet/goat cheese salad. Both were outstanding. Snapper was excellent.
We order a beer that came not cold and after 15 minutes! The food was not too warm but delicious!
Fabulous place! Would definitely come again when in town again. All the food we ordered were so good! Wonderful service! Great drinks!
The wait staff is always exceptional. They are very knowledgeable with an upbeat personality. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
My hot date!
Edison is fabulous for great cocktails and a table for 2. We took a group of 17 and they did not handle us well. Service was agonizingly slow, and mains did not come out together. I realize serving a group is not easy, but the reservation was made well in advance and think they should have dedicated more servers to our table, instead of just one. The ambiance of the group room is nonexistent. For the price and lack of service, most in our group said they would never return. No apologies were made. Fortunately we have had other fine experiences there and will go back, albeit for a small table.
Great holiday season gathering for our family! Incredible food and service top notch! Great bartender who took the time to share mixology info!
Wow. A riot of flavors and interesting aromas with creative presentation leading to tasty food. Attentive staff. Superb wine line.
One of our best for experiences in Tampa. Don't miss out!
Chef Pierola has created a masterpiece. Entertained business associates and all 3 were very impressed.
Always a great experience @ Edison, from the ambiance of the restaurant, to the service, the specialty cocktails, and of course the food. We had many excellent options to choose from and the servers were easily able to adapt and recommend vegetarian options for some of us. Thankfully the staff stuck through to the end of the night with us on Christmas Eve and that made the special occasion even more special.
Chef, Thanks to the entire Edison team!
Wonderful food and service!!
Food quality is inconsistent. Some nights Edison is great, but Christmas Eve was disappointing for everyone in our party.
Awesome waiter. No chicken on the menu, and I'm allergic to fish and don't eat red meat. Waiter arranged for me to get a chicken dish. The chicken breast was tough, but the plate was delicious! Iived their Pinot Grigio - very light! The coffee ice cream was delicious! This was for Christmas Eve, and is my son's favorite restaurant. The menu online was not the menu we were offered. Valet was quick and helpful. We'll go back again!
One of the best dining experience we’ve in the last six months. Food was fresh and inventive, great seasonings. The Service could’ve been better.
The food at Edison is so inventive and well presented. Flavorful and a visual treat.
The service was excellent and the food made our celebration all the more memorable.
They usually have great food and service. Ordered the Wagyu filet medium rare and it came charred. The waiter took it back and returned with another piece charred as well and well done. The discounted the drinks, but the steak tasted worst than a regular filet mignon. It was a disappointing experience for a special occasion. This was also very surprising since we usually have a great experience there.
Would give it 4 ½ stars. Excellent tasty food but a few concerns. We felt a little rushed, which is never good. Once my date had her plate removed before she was finished. Also, we were told that a fresh pot of decaf coffee was being prepared but never arrived. Lastly, we were presented our check even before I had finished dessert. Any one of these alone would be excusable, but added up it appears to be a rush. Only complaint about the food was the wonderful fois gras was quite small and thin....but delish. Noise level is high, but hey, it's a gastropub. So if I had to choose 4 or 5 stars, would go 5 based on quality of food.
