   Overall food was good. However the baked oysters were so small and only 5 for 14 bucks. A rip off. And the halibut while good was grossly under seasoned. I expected more from this restaurant that we’ve been to frequently. .

   Excellent food, and fabulous service from Robert. Four of us shared the calamari, which was excellent, and two of us shared the watermelon gazpacho and loved it. Two of us shared the halibut (excellent); the other two shared the wild mushroom bolognese, which was rich and filling. We shared two desserts: the key lime pie was excellent; the strawberry shortcake was more like a pound cake and short on strawberries, but tasty. Overall, an excellent experience!

   We were very excited based on the menu but quickly realized why they were the only place in town with a pre-show reservation left. My baked oysters and twice baked potato were delicious, but it ended there. The Waygu tartare was unremarkable, as was the pork chop - it really should have been sous vide and then seared with as high fat a cut as belly on. The heirloom tomato salad was very plain and lacks any note of brightness to redeem it. OTOH, our server Jaimie was exceptional!

   First off, service was excellent and an improvement from our last visit. The calamari, the halibut, and salads were excellent. I ordered the ribeye steak med rare and the temperature was spot on but the steak was so tough I couldn’t chew any more than 1/3 of it before abandoning it. It was absolutely awful and out of line with the rest of the food which was delicious.

   This was our first time at Corinne. I don’t know that we will be back. The apps were out right away, but the main entrées (which were simple brunch entrees) took a long time to come out. The food was OK, my fries were half cold by the time they got to the table. The noise level was quite high. It was alright, but I was just disappointed because this place was listed as one of Denver’s best brunch spots, and I found it average.

   Went to a similarly priced restaurant (high-end Italian) the previous night, where the appetizer, entrees, and dessert were all clearly better. Corrinne's offerings were good and I do not at all regret going there, but it was not the moaning-with-pleasure experience I had the previous night. On the other hand, service at Corrinne was excellent, slightly better than at the other place. Specifics: Crab croquettes had very nice crust but interior a tad mushy; too much filler? Scallops were perfectly cooked; the sauce and greens (I'm not a fan of bitter greens) less successful though I loved the mushroom component. Bread pudding dessert overcooked and should not be as dry (standard of comparison is Mother's and other places in New Orleans and Baton Rouge). My nonalcoholic cocktail was outstanding (blueberry, sage, ginger ale)
