Chow Morso Osteria
Great dinner and great service
Recommend having a children's menu or be more open to making children-specific items.
Excellent food well described and suggested by server. manager pitched in to serve the main dishes. Attentive bar tender was inspecting the bar stool seats from different angles and cleaning them with a white cloth. Told the manager how caring the guy was and that he should keep him...manager said "that's the owner!" I'm gunna try Barolo grill again, too. Same owner
Waiter was brand new but did his best. Food was great,we enjoyed.
Nice little place downtown, wonderful service and excellent wine list. I would probably rate our experience more highly if I didn’t know about their sister restaurant (Barolo Grill), which is probably among the best in the state and therefore had set our expectations quite high.
Thank you Louise for the very kind words, It is very hard telling the 11 month old she'll hardly measure up to her 27 yr old very successful sibling, and who has had the unfair advantage being mentored along the way with all of the amazing professionals that have contributed at our Barolo Grill over the years. But nonetheless, those who have not been to Barolo nor compare seem to think we are on to something with our new baby Chow Morso Osteria...... Thank you for your kind words again, Ryan
The hospitality is outstanding! Food is consistently great.
I love Chow Morso—the staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is delicious.
The hostess was not welcoming or friendly... so we were a little unsure of what to expect as we sat down. LUCKILY, our waiter was very kind and efficient. The food was delicious! I could’ve eaten that pesto all night! I would recommend this restaurant for sure.
Hello Kaitlyn, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this wonderful review!! Firstly, I am so sorry you didn't receive the big warm friendly reception from the hostess, that really makes my heart that extra heavy, I am so sorry, please forgive us as we will be addressing this issue within our team....... Secondly, again, THANK YOU for the kind words, we appreciate you spending your evening with us....... Warmest regards, Ryan
A true favorite. Always consistent, incredibly delicious!
Had a group of college friends in town and we gave this a try. Our waitress was fantastic with great suggestions and everyone really enjoyed the food. The risotto balls are a must try!
The food is consistently delicious. 6 of us ate family style and loved it. We were at a table near the entrance so not as much ambiance as could be there and we had to use a bar table corner for some of our plates. But it was a wonderful night with good food, good wine and great friends.
The service was excellent. Food delicious. Definitely recommend.
Had a great time. Cool spot for drink but I recommend you stay for food as well. Food, cocktails and wine list were all great. Would definitely go back again.
Hello, Wow! Thanks thank you so much for all of those FIVE stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you again for your comments, it always helps us work at improving our surroundings.... Best and Warmest! Ryan
Food was excellent, service very good. Benjamin, the sommelier was also very helpful. Only negative comment is the music was way too loud, and didn't really fit with the rest of the ambiance. We will be back for the food for sure!
I have eaten here several times this year, mostly back in Jan-Mar. The range of pasta dishes and specials are always enticing. They have a great wine list. The desserts are not heavy and they actually have a real chocolate cake, not flourless cake/fudge. I usually come by after the Colorado Symphony or DCPA stage shows in the wintertime. I know the owner, Ryan Fletter well since I go to his main restaurant, Barolo Grill.
This is our fourth visit to Chow Morso. This is not a "rock star" restaurant. It is consistently good or great at everything it does without the customers feeling overwhelmed. It occupies that enviable position of providing satisfaction at reasonable prices . I have enjoyed their soup sandwich combinations for lunch- very yummy, and My husband can't stay away from their pasta vongole. Friends that have visited Chow Morso report that they intend to return.
We had dinner for four on a Thursday night, the restaurant was moderately busy, but not too loud or uncomfortably crowded. Server Zachary S. was great and all of our pasta dishes were delicious. Highly recommend the arancini appetizer!
Cute little restaurant with delicious food!
Went to before the Stones concert. Great food and service (and great playlist!). Not pretentious. Excellent all around. Pastas and steak were delicious. Good for all ages. Highly recommend.
On our way to The Rolling Stones concert, our group had an absolutely magnificent dinner here. From the host to the wait staff we were very impressed. Our food was absolutely delicious. We will be back!
The staff is awesome. The food and wine list were great!
We had 3 adult kids, 2 adults and one senior and across the board, the service and food was phenomenal. We ordered calamari and the charcuterie as apps, LOVED the arugula salad except for a little too much dressing and several different pasta dishes. The pesto, gnocci, airline chicken and pork were great. Would love to come again.
Great service and delicious carbonara and gnocco frito!
Cool, casual vibe. Food was excellent but not extraordinary. The wine list is notable and well conceived (not pedestrian like so many others). I recommend early evening dinner when it's not busy. I think it might not be as high on my list if it was really packed due to lack of privacy.
The dining room was beautiful, the service spot on, and all of us, including some very picky eaters, thought our dishes were delicious and amply portioned. We applaud the Chow Morso Team and are planning on making this a regular destination on our list of favorites!
Love the restaurant! Always eat there before concerts. The noise level was really high. Made it tough to enjoy dinner.
My first time at Chow Morso, wonderful menu and everyone at our table enjoy the food. Lovely selection of Italian wines. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Not to loud or overcrowded. I would and have recommended this place to friends.
The food, service and ambience was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations for appetizers and entrees.
Really impressed with the overall experience - food was amazing, good service, and great atmosphere.
Great drinks and food. Service was top notch.
The team at Chow Morso went out of there way to make our outdoor dining experience in the rain enjoyable - almost like being in Europe. Of course the sidewalk free entertainment is always interesting.
Great experience, the staff was outstanding, food was wonderful, and a nice wine list. Highly recommended.
Great meal and excellent service.
Wine list is excellent.
What a new fun restaurant in downtown Denver to go to and enjoy some yummy pasta. I am personally not a huge eater, but was glad to see that the portions were great. NOT to small like a lot of places do today. My husband and I split a salad and then we both had our own pasta dish. The owner was there and he was making the rounds making sure customers were enjoying their evening. Our server and other support were attentive. Great night.
The pasta carbonara was delicious.
The food was excellent but it was too noisy in the section we sat in to enjoy.
Everything I tasted way perfection !
Wonderful meal. Pasta was soppp good.
Unfortunately we had to run off to the symphony so couldn't linger over our food. My companion and I shared a mixed green salad (their salads are large), and we each had a pasta dish. She had a gluten free puttanesca and I selected the funghi tagliatelle. Both were delicious. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I am delighted that the people from Barola Grill are offering something different, but equally delicious, from the more formal Barola.
Excellent food, great service, warm atmosphere. The noise level was so high, however, we felt that we had to yell across the table to our guests and were eager to get outside to the relative quiet of a LoDo Friday night.
