Fantastic food served as several courses! Can't wait to go back
Love, the food the people and the service!
We received a gift certificate to ChoLon as a wedding gift and chose to use it on our 1 year anniversary. This was my husbands first time and my second time eating at ChoLon. The food, atmosphere and service were perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better evening!
Incredible! We came twice during our long weekend in Denver. It was THAT good. Fantastic food and a special shout out to our waiter Matt. Top notch service!
Our server, David, was fantastic! He guided us through the menu and choices. The food was totally awesome! We had the lamb chops for the main dish, the best! Highly recommend. We sat outside because the inside was very noisy.
oh my goodness - this place is incredible!! everything was delicious, but by far the most amazing was the french onion soup dumplings. wow! can't wait to come back to denver to go here again!!!
Soup dumplings! Enough said.
One of the best restaurants in Denver.
Second time back and was just as wonderful as the first time! Loved the soup dumplings and the beef sliders... food is soooo delicious and a twist on the typical modern Asian fare! Can't wait to go back!
We were celebrating our anniversary. I can’t eat cilantro & they were extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, my choices were very limited, but I enjoyed the soup dumplings & scallops very much. Hubby loved his spring rolls & lamb. They were very sweet to give us a special anniversary dessert. Great evening!
I felt sick all night after I left. This was the 2nd visit and the 2nd time this happened ...an almost non-existent occurrence for me. The food was delicious, though VERY expensive. The service great but definitely a noisier environment (if you care about that) with close together tables .
I will not go back ever. Too many other great options here in Denver and truly I am never sick to my stomach .
This our local restaurant so we have been several times. It is so delicious! Can't wait till their sister french restaurant opens!
Everything was amazing! Can't wait to go back. Beef skewers and scallops were the best!
Great food, eclectic menu with some interesting options. Fun place to eat if you like to share plates and try a bunch of stuff. Our waiter was friendly and personable. Highly recommend! We sat at the chef's counter which was a bit warm on a hot summer night but it was a great place to watch the action.
Second time here and it didn’t disappoint. Food is interesting and cooked perfectly, service solid. There was a 3 year old at the adjacent table, so kind of a buzzkill. Not the restaurant’s fault, but annoying nonetheless. Seriously, spring for a babysitter, or, there’s a Cheesecake Factory right up the street.
Just “OK”. Great food preparation but the apathetic server girl (lunch) and totally dead place made it a lousy experience.
This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. The small plates are exquisite, especially the iconic soup dumplings. But, also try the kaya toast, a heavenly version of inside out French toast, and the wagon beef skewers, a melt in your mouth taste of beef. I would come back for just the panna cotta dessert, however. It’s like a panna cotta you e never tasted, exploding flavors and textures with creamy smooth custard, crunchy additions that add a little hear and floating puffs of meringue. I’ll always be back.
Lovely meal. Asparagus salad was memorable. The ribs were delicious and so tender.
Went there for our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised on the unique Asian food and how good everything was. We will definitely be back!
I really wanted to love this place. The food was okay but, despite the creative construction, failed to wow.
The service was friendly and attentive, but every dish came with instructions... and yes... I can figure out how to construct my lettuce wrap.
ChoLon is the #1 restaurant in downtown Denver where my wife and I take friends/family. The food is so creative and consistently delicious, and the staff is so awesome (our water glasses were rarely even 1/2 empty). My only gripe this time around was that I didn't realize how high a markup they had on a glass of whiskey until the check arrived. Other than that, everything is a great value.
Food and service were great. Will be back.
We sat at the counter and watched the staff work their magic! It was wonderful, staff were very friendly, helpful and took wonderful care of us. Food was delicious with a great fusion of flavors. Loved it!
really good food and very friendly atmosphere. I’ll go back whenever I have a chance
Dined at Cholon prior to a show at Pepsi. The server inquired about our plans to keep us on schedule, we appreciated that. The food was wonderful. I love small plates and sharing, this place is excellent for that. All of our cuisine was unique, well presented and delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here.
Never disappoints! The service and food are some of the best in the city. I love that there is always something new to try on the menu but they never take away their signature best dishes. Amazing!
Fantastic food, creative presentation, hits every taste bud! Service was spot on , attentive and informative. Worth every penny! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Stephen for taking such good care of us!!
We have dined here a number of times, and always enjoy it. Our server, Louis, was outstanding! He was friendly and accommodating.
I would like to try the other snacks. The lamb was good, chickpeas too spicy.
My husband wasn't too pleased. A little expensive.
One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in all of Denver. Always outstanding.
Really enjoyed our dinner while visiting Denver. Great menu, great service. Modified several dishes for us with vegetarian options. Good kids menu and cocktails too!
As always, never disappoints! Amazing and original food, great atmosphere and pleasant service. I take all my out of town visitors there! Thank you for the opportunity!
Amazing experience! Food was unique and absolutely fabulous! Great service! Couldn’t have been better!!!
Best food experience I’ve had in a very long time
We were looking for upscale Asian and were told ChoLon was the place to try. I have to say it was a real disappointment. While the food is good the menu is very limited and we had a difficult time deciding what to order. What we thought would be an interesting dish turned out to be a rather ordinary Pad Thai. Bottle of beer 17.00, glass of wine more.
The restaurant is so noisy we couldn't converse. Wouldn't recommend or return.
Unbelievable - order the French Onion dumplings
We enjoyed our experience at Cholon. My husband's and I came to Cholon upon a recommendation From a local and it did not disappoint. We started with the pork belly buns, the soup dumplings, and the pot stickers. My favorite was the soup dumplings because it was a unique dish. We popped the whole dumpling in our mouth and got a burst of delicious broth. We also ordered the lobster crepes which were good, but wrapping them in the lettuce leaves was a bit awkward. The grilled brussel sprouts were tasty, but very greasy. Finally the Wagu steak was a treat and my husband's favorite. We have some really amazing Thai/Viatnamese restaurants in Buffalo, NY, so I am a bit spoiled, but overall Cholan had good food. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance as well.
Just had a few starters, soup dumplings as always were fantastic!
Waited quite a while for wait person.
