A richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening, this grand Regency restaurant offers a truly memorable fine dining experience. On Friday nights, enjoy live entertainment from a jazz trio, whilst on Sundays one of the best Sunday Roast Lunches in London can be found here. An exhibition of modern art by British based artists adorning the walls adds to the ambience.

This was our first visit to The Lanesborough and won’t be the last! So conveniently located for local sightseeing and shopping within seconds of the London tube! The decor was sumptuous, warm and inviting worthy of Buckingham Palace itself - where we had spent the afternoon. The luxurious surroundings, trompe l’oeil wall coverings in the Ruinart bar, and overall ambience were exquisite. The service from staff was outstanding. Staff were knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive making us feel relaxed and well cared for. We ordered from a set menu in the opulent and refined dining room illuminated by lavish chandeliers and a stunning domed glass roof with classic architectural details including Greek style friezes and intricate cornicing. The Michelin Star plates were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, although a wider menu selection would enhance the experience still further! Overall, great value and a lovely atmosphere in both the dining room and champagne bar, where we caught the tail-end of the tremendously talented harpist that was an absolute treat for the senses! Our evening has left a lasting impression and we will certainly return for another special occasion.
