My wife’s 37th birthday family brunch celebration. She was a birthday girl and her order with 2 eggs and steak which came 1 hour late!! Come on!!! How long would it take to make two eggs and steak? Tiny candle on a desert would make it, but I guess candles are something very rare and special and we did not pre-order one. My kids were waiting for this tradition. We decided to finish our brunch early and went for desert to another restaurant. Thank you Catch for such a “good” service.

Overall good food. Very overpriced for what it is and if your celebrating don’t bother mentioning it unless you want to pay for a dessert. Also I hope you don’t want to spend a lot of time at your table. It’s apparat they want to turn and burn. I would say if you were not spending as much as you were fine. But considering for two people you drop over $200 one would hope you could enjoy the experience a little more.

Came for a friends 30th birthday and was upset to get no recognition from the server, despite putting it on our reservation and telling him when we sat down. My boyfriend had told him that if we didn’t order a dessert, we would appreciate it if he surprised our friend by bringing out the typical catch birthday dessert, even if we had to pay for it. However, when our friend said no to dessert, the heck was promptly dropped on our table with no desert and we felt kind of rushed out. Not how we wanted to end a birthday dinner with a 400 dollar bill

The restaurant is really pretty. The service wasn’t the best. It took our waiter a while to see us, we were brought the wrong food and waiting on a beverage made it a nice go to once restaurant, but probably not Again.

Good evening! I'm passing by to report my dissatisfaction with Catch's service in Los Angeles! Many friends from Brazil recommended the restaurant, I made the reservation through the open table app, I even arrived earlier than the reservation! But since the entrance I was not well received, it seems that the people who works there don't like what they do! I wanted to start my night, having a few beers and the waiter was always in a hurry, kind of impatient, so I would order dinner right away and I would just enjoy the moment, after all I just start my vacation! I felt super bad about all this! A pressure, as if I were in a food court in the mall, lit up for a table! When we finished dinner, we wanted to continue drinking some more and he soon brought us the $$ bill, without even asking if we were ready to leave! I didn't make a fuss because I was very well educated, but I feel obliged to report here via direct on IG! Anyway, the service was terrible from start to finish, but the food was just wonderful and the atmosphere is great! Take care of the name of your restaurant! Thank you and Im sorry for “some” English mistakes! Ruan Karlos.

The food and service was great! I spent an amazing time having dinner with my close friends. Some of my friends came to LA from Russia just for few days and they really enjoyed the place.

Food took a very long time to come out. My friend had ordered an entree and it came out way before my appetizers. I sat that watching him eat for a good 20 mins. Service was definitely lacking. The other locations I’ve visited were much better.

After we finished our appetizers, which arrived at least 30 -45 minutes after we ordered, our server first told us the entree we ordered was unavailable. It was already past time we expected the entree to be served. We selected an alternate. The side vegetables arrived immediately while the new entree order naturally took a while - at least 20 -30 minutes. When we asked that the side vegetables that had been sitting on our table be reheated, we were treated like we were being high maintenance. When we finished our server was nowhere in sight, though he had acknowledged earlier he would be bringing out a birthday treat. We were eventually able to flag him down. After we paid and were getting up to leave, two cookies with a birthday candle arrived on a plate that said “”Happy Birthday.” Nice gesture, but too late and brought by someone other than our server.

Also, table was not ready until long after our reservation time, so it ended up taking us nearly 3 hours to finish a two course meal.

Food was good and atmosphere was great, but with this service I will not be returning.

Catch LA is a hot spot for a good reason - it is a very nicely appointed restaurant with an excellent view of Los Angeles from the outside dining patio. The food is excellently prepared, the staff very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very busy and the noise is a little loud for most dining experiences. I can't knock the place except for pricing which for some of the entrees is a little high. The main question is Catch LA worth the trip? Yes, and as a stopping point before a night out, certainly.

I would recommend Catch to a friend but only because of the food. The guest service is awful. Our server, McDowell was not only cold, rude but he created such bad energy for our table of 4. He was extremely unprofessional and cold. The hostess were very lethargic as well. They did not communicate very well with those of standing waiting to check in.

Felt a bit pretentious and the pricing reflected it. Wasn’t amazing but wasn’t bad. Server (Taylor) only cared about turning the table and not engaging with us. What’s the point of booking a table when they stick you in the bar for 20 minutes (just to bulk up your spend). All very obvious, low dow tactics that the chefs dont deserve as they crank out some nice meals - albeit at a price that 10 miles away would be 30% of the cost.

Got a seat 50 minutes after original bookings. Food acceptable but obviously overpriced. Extremely noisy. Entrees not served simultaneously. Wile by the glass list miserable Only exception was a kind waiter.

Always outstanding, the ambient is amazing every time I go, food is very good, service is great. It’s very pricey (200$ for 2 people for 4 shared appetizers, Hit-Me-dessert and espresso) but definitely going to go back when in LA.

It is important to have a reservation, especially on a weekend night. Even with a reservation you may wait 30+ minutes to be sat at a table. Beautiful ambiance inside. The service was good and the food was delicious. I would recommend the branzino!
