We had to wait 1 hour to be seated even with our reservation
It was my 45th birthday and as expected food and service was amazing thank you for a great evening
My partner and I decided to splurge for date night here and boy were we impressed! Everything was simply delicious. Our waiter was Jeremy who did a great job of helping us navigate the menu options. We ended up taking his recommendations and were thrilled! Our favorite was the sashimi in truffle sauce.
The place was very busy and the aisles were a bit crowded around the bar, but the vibe was good and the noise level didn’t affect the evening. The food and ambiance were excellent on their own but hands down the cherry on top was Jeremy. Engaging, knowledgeable, and perfect timing: he knew when to be present and when to give us space.
Absolutely will be back!
Will be back soon! The energy is fun with the dim lights making a dinner very pleasant.
We were made to wait 50 mins despite our reservn at 7.30 pm..in the end when we kept enquiring they behaved like someone forgot to seat us..everyone who came after us was already seated....a bad experience.
This place is amazing! Atmosphere, service, creativity, presentation and quality. I cannot wait to come back!
Catch LA is great for a fun, lively dinner. My service was great! I was on crutches and had a walking boot and I found it to be annoying that the hostess made me wait 20 minutes ever after I had a reservation. I don’t like the fact they didn’t accommodate me right away. Overall, I love this place and enjoy the food but it’s very over priced. You get extremely small portions.
The Truffle Sashimi was spectacularly delicious but it went downhill from there. The Scallop & Cauliflower was good. The Lobster Roll wasn't a "sushi roll" but a sandwich and less than ok. The Crispy Whole Snapper ($87) was so dry and tasteless we only had 3 or 4 sections (it was cut into bite size sections after presented whole) trying to find any moist sections and didn't even bother with finishing it. The waiter noticed the uneaten portion and asked if all was ok. We said it was extremely dry. He comp'd a desert.
We go to Catch each time we come to LA. The food is amazing and we can’t ever convince ourselves to try elsewhere. Love it here.
The food was amazing, good service it was just a bit too loud and we were seated too close to other tables.
Food was amazing and so was the service. Server was very attentive during the dinner and informative when talking about the menu. Support staff were efficient in cleaning tables and glasses making sure anything unnecessary on the table was taken away. Everything was amazing, however, the sushi rolls weren’t anything special. Prices are pretty reasonable considering it’s West Hollywood. My friend and I had a couple drinks each, 4 or 5 small plates, a snapper to share and dessert and was about $300. We were definitely full after leaving. Overall, great experience.
Great food and atmosphere, but can be a little bit overpriced. Would definitely recommend to a friend though!
The food was absolutely AMAZING! It was our first time in LA and we wanted to try various restaurants; I regret not also coming here to try their Brunch. The martinis and food were impeccable! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile, everyone was super nice, our waiter was very informative & gave us great recommendations! They played GREAT music while we ate, and it wasn’t too loud as to where you couldn’t have a conversation. I give this restaurant 10 stars! My wish is that they expand and open a CATCH in Washington, DC! I’d come at least twice a week! 🥰
Loved it!!! Amazing food and service, definitely come back again soon
The lighting in the room is ridiculous. You cannot see a thing. SO DARK for no reason. Everyone had their phone flashlights on to read a menu.
The wine we ordered took forever to make it to our table....claimed had to go to basement cellar. So maybe true...who knows. But the place was not busy when we got there at 6PM on a Monday and yet we got the table right by the kitchen door......REALLY????? I love the food and have been numerous times to NYC and Vegas versions of Catch, but not a fan of this one. No need to go back.
This place is all “scene”. The food was ok. Just ok. Way overpriced. It’s one of those “get several small plates to share” restaurants. It’s beautiful but not worth the money. Will not be returning but glad I went once
Every dish was spectacular, the service was top notch, and place looked incredible.
Great service and food was Amazing
We had a reservation for 5:30 and my friend ending up being a half hour late and they didn’t give our table away. The staff was friendly and respectful, and the atmosphere was super fun and we had a great time. Aw, the food! Great vegan/ vegetarian options and the drinks were really good as well. Favorite dish was the crispy cauliflower and favorite drink was “One Too Many”.
Will definitely be going back soon!
Always a vibe. Truly enjoyed dining here.
Excellent food and great service 5 star
It was great.
Such a wonderful place to go for any occasion. The ambience is dreamy, the service is spot on and the food is mouthwatering.
LOVE this spot. The atmosphere is fun and the service is great. Definitely recommend!
Love, love, love... definitely an experience. The food and the ambience was perfect.
The sushi was smaller than Ralph’s sushi the water was warm the lobster Mac n cheese tastes like craft single overly priced for nothing
Wonderful place lovely view and great food would definitely recommend
Overall our experience was AMAZING! Food was great, drinks were amazing and our waiter was awesome. He was very good at suggesting up-sell items in a very professional and admirable way. My one issue was the two hostess at the front. They didn't acknowledge us right away which made me feel stupid since i was on a first date. They pretty much made us feel as if we were interrupting their conversation. They even continued their conversation as we were walking to our table. I tried ignoring it but even my date made a comment about it. Aside of that. It was great.
Great time great people
My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day. It was very expensive, which I knew ahead of time, but the food definitely wasn’t worth the money. The service was good and the ambiance was nice though. Also, they asked me to fill out a credit card authorization form to lock in my reservation. I forgot to fill it out and 2 days after they sent the form, they canceled our reservation. So make sure to fill that out ASAP if you don’t want your reservation canceled. Overall, it was fun to dress up, go out, and enjoy the ambiance but I probably won’t go back.
Went to Catch LA for the first time on Valentine's Day. I had always heard it was a great restaurant, with atmosphere. It was a set menu for $130 per person, which at the time I thought may have been a bit expensive. There was more than enough food with 2 starters per person, a main course, and split dessert. The food was outstanding, one of the best filets I've ever had. My wife had zero complaints. I would definitely come back and a regular night to experience the full menu.
A truly awful dinner. All three courses were one salted and poorly cooked. The restaurant was nice when it first opened but what a huge disappointment. The quality of staff has also gone down - as if they simply stoped taking an interest. Stay away! Very poor
The customer are kind the rude. Is not a friendly environment. Just rude people an kacky , however the service is good and food as well ,
Made my reservation a month in advance for my boyfriends birthday. Everything was good in the beginning until we were brought to our table. It was one that was half table half booth and an inch away from the surrounding tables. I had kindly asked if there was anywhere else we could sit, (one where the table next to you wasn’t practically at the same table as yours). The server rudely and with a lot of attitude responded back saying “you can wait an hour hour and a half for another table”. We agreed to sit at this table and we ended up moving the table sideways and my boyfriend sat beside me. We checked to see if the surrounding parties had an issue and they had no complaints. Five minutes later this man (who I believe to be the manager) came over and told us we couldn’t sit this way. He grabbed my phone which was on the table, and aggressively Picked up the table and moved it back. After we tried to speak to him about sitting somewhere else since this was not allowed (even tho the people sitting to the left of us were practically sitting the same way, the only difference was that they had the end of the booth). After he said that all the tables for two were this way. There was a loveseat type of table across from us with two people sitting at it.... at this point we were deciding on what to order and practically had to yell to hear each other. Soon after we decided to leave and went to Avra instead. The food, service, and atmosphere was 10/10, go there instead and get the sea bass.
I wish I had my money refunded the host at the entrance made my night a horrible experience
Service and food was amazing
Food was incredible and service was amazing, definitely coming back and will reccomend to anyone.
Waited 45 minutes for our table
