La leyenda de Blue Moose comenzó hace 10 años en los confines de Prairie Village, Kansas. Las historias acerca de esta bestia alta, de color azul oscuro, con enormes astas se extendieron rápidamente por toda la zona. Los abuelos les contaron a sus nietos historias acerca del escurridizo y misterioso Blue Moose, y muchos de ellos afirman haberlo visto a lo lejos en una noche fría y brumosa. Cuando se habla de una leyenda, nunca se está demasiado seguro del límite entre la realidad y la ficción. Hay quien dice que este animal aún mantiene su andar original y se esconde entre las sombras. Otros dicen haberlo visto con una banda de gitanos itinerantes en el lejano oeste llegando hasta Topeka. Las historias acerca de un alce bondadoso que hace buenas obras se han convertido en parte del folklore de Kansas. Cada vez que ocurre algo bueno en Prairie Village, Overland Park, Lenexa o Topeka, se acostumbra mirar al suelo en busca de alguna evidencia de huellas de cascos. I got a filet and it was pretty much tasteless other than the taste of propane. I was very disappointed

A Mother's Day dinner gone wrong-ish. The women's bathroom was filthy and had the appearance of having been so for hours (paper towels all over the vanity when the trash wasn't even full; huge globs of wet paper towels on the floor; stalls also a mess; etc.). The carpet in the restaurant had spill-stains and food all over it. The menu was outdated (things we asked for were not just out--although that happened, too--but they no longer offered them). The staff was friendly and apologetic, but it was a failure as a nice place to celebrate Mother's Day. I can understand things might have been hectic earlier in the day following brunch, but sometime around 3:00 they should have kicked it up and gotten ready for the dinner crowd. Totally phoned it in.

Nothing special! Over priced Applebees, only you have more choices at Applebees. Food is overpriced. Will not be back for sure!

Ate a late lunch at 2 pm. There were only a few people in the restaurant but they seemed to have plenty of staff. However the staff was more interested in cleaning tables and doing other things other than tending to people waiting to be seated and once seated, getting service. A gal came to our table saying she would be waiting on us and we never saw her again (at our table). We had to track someone down to take our order. I will give the gal credit who did wait on us as she seemed to be as confused as we were and helped us with a misorder on our part. But overall the service was dismal and the food 'OK'. I made an Open Table reservation and never got a notification that I received my points so not sure if I got credit or not.

I had made reservations 2 days ahead and also called the day of and reservation was confirmed. I had a party of 11 and a baby so wanted to make sure we would not have to wait. When we arrived at the time of reservation we were told it would be 25-30 minutes for our table. Now whole reason of making prior arrangements was to avoid this wait. We had a 2 month old and several family members from out of town. We had to continuously “argue” with staff and management making it an unpleasant experience for our family. They had an open banquet room they ended up giving to us however we waited longer than needed and had to almost demand something be done. Initially they were not even going to give us the banquet room because they didn’t have adequate staff? Well very dissatisfied with the reservation process.

Our server was awful. Slow to bring drinks, didn't refill. And when we asked for a refill, she grimaced like she was doing us a favor. Appetizer came but no plates to eat it on. Seemed mad when we asked for plates, and by the time she brought them, our food was cold. Bad experience overall.
