Welcome to Topa at Provisions! Topa (meaning "cheers" in Basque) brings a taste of San Sebastián's vibrant food scene.

We’ve always had a fascination with the Basque region because of its wealth of incredible produce. As an importer, we’ve spent years forging strong relationships with some Basque producers and have organised many pop-ups to pay homage to their region. These events were always the most popular and fun for us to organise so we’ve decided to make it a regular thing ! We’re now bringing the feel of a bustling San Sebastián local bar to North London.

We now welcome Chino González !

Chino was born and raised in Buenos Aires, he started his cooking journey as an apprentice at Michelin starred restaurants in the South of France and San Sebastiàn. These formative experiences gave him a grounding in both classical and modern techniques.

                                                            Lively laid back atmosphere. Every mouthful of food was delicious with lots of interesting and unusual wine choices rather than the standard wine list options in most restaurants. We would definitely return.

                                                            Great food, every dish had great flavour and well prepared. While the menu is short it is prepared by a single chef to order and there was enough range in what was on offer. Great ambience in a small space which was full on a Thursday night with a great buzz. Nice informality, attentive service and genuinely friendly. Great selection of wine. Easy to rack up a bill but totally worth it for a quick bite or drink or as a meal.

                                                            The team at bar Topa were very helpful with choice of wine and food. Top notch quality of food.

                                                            Absolutely delicious Basque food - such a treat to find in London. The wild mushrooms dish is a great dupe of the Ganbara dish in San Sebastian. The quail was beautiful, and I loved the flavours of the brown crab risotto but the risotto grains were slightly underdone. And definitely get the pain perdu, i'm not much of a sweets person but this blew my mind. Great dish. Beautiful, buzzy place to sit with some nice wine and a gilda and have a catch up, which is exactly what we did! Staff are lovely and super knowledgeable.
