BALEEN - Naples
Lunch / Daily 11:30am - 2:30pm
Dinner / Daily 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Sunday Champagne Brunch 11:00am-2:30pm
Was at Baleen twice this week. Buffet breakfast and lunch. Buffet breakfast was passable. Nothing special. Eggs and omelettes, potatoes that were pretty dry. Bacon and turkey sausage which also was dry. Probably sitting too long. Typical pancakes and waffles. Fruit, juices and breads as well as lox and trimmings and yogurts. Won’t be doing buffet breakfast again. Lunch on the other hand was wonderful. Fresh and tasty with attentive service.
My Beautiful Fiancée Anne❤️Happy Birthday 🎂🎁😘
Excellent food as always! The server was terrific and you can never beat the view of sunset in Naples on a nice night.
It was for our anniversary. We had a great table with a nice view on the beach and sunset. Our waiter, Jorge was really nice and efficient, food was excellent and sunset was gorgeous. Really nice setting outdoor.after diner you can hang out around the outdoor fireplace. Lovely
Went for lunch
Relaxing under the covered roof, not too hot.
Enjoyed the lobster roll
We usually love going to Baleen for a special sunset dinner, but we were totally disappointed this time. After ordering a nice bottle of wine, we got a different year -- something that seems to happen often at this restaurant (but they still charge the same price). We both ordered the signature grouper dish, and at $46 a plate, I expected to be wowed, but the fish was totally overcooked and totally overpriced! While service is usually impeccable, our waitress was average at best. We had to ask for our wine, and after our food was delivered, she was scarce. And.... she never smiled! Next time I think we will have dinner down the street, then come to Baleen for the fire pits and a cigar.
We had a perfect table on the beach with a beautiful view of the sunset. The wait staff was superb. Baleens has really upped their game since reopening. the food and wine was fantastic. It was one of the best nights we have had dining there. I highly recommend.
Food was very good. Service was OK. The biggest complaint is the price of the liquor. My friends like two drinks at dinner and the price was more than the meal. The view is priceless.
Everything was wonderful!
Beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately the mosquitoes were out bad and we got eaten alive and ruined the experience.
The remodel is very fresh and coastal very warm.
Food is fresh and perfect. Service has to be the best in Naples.
The Dolphins in the Gulf really added the the ambience.
Outstanding view, service & food. I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special, which was a spectacular value. Highly recommend!
Great sea view with amazing food
I found out after we dined that we were not eligible for points for this meal. Not sure why and am not calling to find out- should have been notified at time of booking or when confirming.
One of the only restaurants on the water in Naples
Beautiful view and delicious food
The outdoor dining was everything I had hoped it would be. The food was very good but not anything different than other restaurants as far as taste. The service was excellent and Patty was very helpful with recommendations and making our anniversary dinner special.
Very nice. Food and service very good and a sunset view that was spectacular.
Food, service & ambiance was great! Highly recommend
Our server, Dwayne was everything!!!! He made my husband's bday that much more special. The view was spectacular, the food and drinks were great. We recommend Baleen for special occasions and just to chill with family. Great gem in Naples.
Fantastic night! We loved the seafood as well as the octopus appetizer and the crab and avocado salad.
Was served short ribs that were spicy to the extent I had to send it back..replaced with a filet steak that Publix wouldn’t sell..parking was by valet that charged $5.00 w/o gratuity..nice surprise after a lousy meal..have eaten there before and never had this experience..
A neighborhood gem!!! Ambiance was outstanding, drinks were well made, food was impeccable. A very elegant casual setting. Great job Baleen
Dwayne was great!!!! Dinner was great as well as service!! Will be back for sure
Enjoyed date night with my husband. Lobster Risotto was perfect! Of special note, our Server Lauren made our evening. She was fantastic.
We were celebrating a birthday. Overall it was a great meal. Some items seem ridiculously expensive and just shocked its $8 for bread. Places with way lower prices offer free bread and good bread at that!
We had the chef's signature special which was "blackened" grouper with cirus beurre blanc. It really wasn't blackened but I usually order lightly blackened. Served on a lovely corn truffle risotto cake. Grouper was about 6oz.
We also had one price fix 3 course meal. You choose one of three appetizers, one of 3 entrees two fish and a pork chop. Each had a starch. And then 2 desserts to choose from; key lime dessert square or a chocolate something.
We chose lobster bisque (cuppa), shrimp and mushroom truffle risotto, (large portions), and key lime dessert.
The birthday girl received a surprise chocolate ganche with toasted meringue top ctoo sweet but delish and came with a candle. BUT...We were not informed of the dessert coming and should have in case of allergies or maybe we would have purchased a different dessert. We were not offered coffee either and the chocolate ganache needed it.
Love the setting with seating on the beach with or without cover. And the outdoor deck provides fans as well. Torches after sunset but can be a bit warm if sitting near one on the upper outdoor deck. But I'm sure appreciated on a cooler night.
For us locals who are working folks this is a special occasion mea. But all in all, doesn't disappoint when spending our hard earned cash.
Very nice location but food only so-so. For example, the tomatoes were tasteless and the fish options were ordinary. If you want to spend a LOT of money for ordinary food with a nice view, this is your place.
Our waiter, Dwayne, was most accommodating and friendly. He helped us in the correct pronunciation of the dishes, as well as the preparation process and meanings of several words that we were completely unfamiliar with.
The ceviche and lobster bisque were amazing. We did the $45 prix menu with appetizer, entree and dessert. Food was very good and the view of the ocean and sunset were outstanding.
Lovely Father’s Day brunch...
Bottomless mimosas or champagne, great view.
I forgot my servers name but she was awesome! Our drinks were always full, we never had to ask for anything.
Great server Julio. Great food recommendations. Beautiful beach/sunset view, very romantic. A little pricey but delicious food.
As always. Fabulous food, service and view of the gulf.
Always my go to in Naples.
The view and ambiance are spectacular, but charging $8 for bread is over the top! There is also a charge for parking, a charge most restaurants wave with validation. Great for a special occasion -- you can walk on the beach between courses. We went for our 50th anniversary, but wouldn't necessarily patronize otherwise. Food is good, especially the appetizers, but doesn't warrant the price given the extra charges. The bar looked nice and high-tops aren't reserved, so, we might try it for a drink and light bite to view the sunset.
We enjoyed our dinner at Baleen. The setting is beautiful but things seemed a bit dirty with dust / dirt on the booth seat next to us. We would say it was over priced for what it is. The place was pretty empty and we got placed at a mini table but it had great view. $350 for a average bottle of wine and dinner was a bit much. Waiter /service was very good and the food was good but not great like we were hoping.
Our meal was quite good, although 3 of us ordered the special and they ran out, so one of us had to change their order.
Very accomadating with great views and good service. One of my it favorites restaurants in Naples.
Ambiance is cold ! Why did they change the decoration?
It was my favorite place but not anymore:(
Considering the expensive cost, the experience was disappointing food & average service. We won’t be back.
The setting is beautiful; the service excellent, but the food is only mediocre
