Aubaine is a passionate marriage of French culinary creativity and the discerning standards of the London dining scene. We live to make the simple sophisticated and the sophisticated simple.

Our menu is a taste of modern France with a nod to the traditional. We blaze a trail to original and exciting creations while keeping the much-loved staples of French dining philosophy close to our heart. Namely, the best ingredients, the most delicious wine and thoughtful service.

Paying the V&A a visit? On your way up Brompton Road, drop into our local venue – it's something of a Kensington landmark. Our flagship restaurant is a popular brunch spot and even more popular for Champagne dinners (although our brunches often feature fizz as well).

We enjoyed a good well presented early supper. Good atmosphere and very good service. It is on the expensive side but the good attention and welcome made up for this.

Savoury food was bland and unoriginal - very unremarkable. The desserts however are truly outstanding. I recommend this place for coffee and desserts.

First waiter didn't make eye contact, presented us with 3 plates for four people. Drinks slow to come, olives slow to come, sauces slow to come. Crab pasta was swimming in cream, food generally quite mediocre. I've passed this restaurant for years and fancied going. Been there and done that now. Altogether an underwhelming and overpriced experience.

Food was good, not special, it is after all a chain of restaurants.
Service can be slow and slightly chaotic, but nice atmosphere

All the Aubaine locations are terrific spots for a quiet pleasant bite to eat.

The lunch menu when we went was fairly limited, but everything on it that we had was excellent (and I would much prefer a short menu done well than a huge list of mediocre dishes anyway). Although all tables were occupied, the service was prompt and friendly. Great place.
