The food was excellent, and it wasn't very crowded in there on a Monday night. I could see it getting noisy if every table was full. The service was good but not great, possibly because there was a large table with ten people demanding most of the servers' attention. The prices were pretty standard for good food, but the price for sparking water seemed a bit high. Overall we were very pleased with our dining experience and will probably return when we're back in the area again.

We went to Atelier to celebrate a birthday and had noted that in the reservation - yet not a mention of the special occasion and no complimentary anything - at least a pleasant "happy birthday" greeting from any member of the staff would have been appreciated. The appetizer was the best part of the meal (crab au gratin), and the rest of the meal and the cocktail was good/fair - but nothing remarkable or amazing. (At least the portions were a good size for French cuisine.) The space was quite loud, as are most restaurants these days, and the decor could use a refresh and cleaning (e.g., tapestry on the wall). Our server was fairly efficient, but abrupt - she really didn't smile or acknowledge or thank us - so service was a disappointing aspect of the meal. Would be great to include more vegetarian and vegan items on the menu. We might visit again to give it one more try - but it wasn't cheap, so not sure if we will...

This was our third wine dinner at Atelier and each one has been beyond compare. The food is exquisite, always, and the wines are carefully and thoughtfully chosen to match each dish. I am solely a red wine drinker, but the 2 whites (which I didn't care for on their own) truly brought out and intensified the flavors of the dishes they were paired with, and for the first time I "got" how some wines truly do improve the right dishes. Truly an amazing dinner.

We have been here several times but the service and food was the best ever! The chef's presentations and sauces were excellent. We had ravioli's, steak tartare, foie gras with brioche and berries (best yet). mussels, lamb chops (brown sauce was outstanding}, cheese platter for dessert along with Sancerre, Bordeaux, Graves, and Sauternes (top end) for wines. Best meal yet. French Laundry needs to catch up.

The food and service at Atelier is always excellent. Favorites are the country pate, mussels, Salomon in buerre blanc and saltimboca. They have the best restaurant bread in Denver. Kate is so gracious and professional and manages the front of house service so well. It feels like an authentic French bistro with many delicious food choices and a well-curated wine list.

Overall, it was a very positive experience. Service was a bit slow since there was only one server waiting on seven tables. The only entree that was not top notch was the lobster ravioli which was rather bland.

Classic dishes with excellent ingredients beautifully prepared. Last night’s salmon was amazingly fresh and perfectly cooked. The service is friendly and unfailingly professional. Atelier provides a delightful reminder of what good restaurants used to be. Our favorite in Denver. Five stars.

The Veal Saltiboca. Excellent. The veal was tender serviced potatoes au gratin and nice vegetabl and small mixed greens. All were tasty and presented equally fancy. The veal Inhad in CC French restaurant was tough a generous portion but veal was tough. Too bad the veal dish was scaloppini. .

Everything was fine, as usual, except for the waiter. Our waitress left mid-way through our meal, leaving everything to the waiter. My wine glass sat empty for 20 minutes. He made no effort to ask if I would like another. I asked him about our order of mussels. He replied, "Do you have a problem?" Shocked, I said yes I do. It's your arrogance. Bring us our mussels. He left without a word. We waited 55 minutes for our mussels, when I finally got up, walked into the wait station in the rear and canceled our order for mussels. He brought us our bill, which was $30+ too much. He had billed us for four glasses of wine when we drank only two. He is one of the rudest waiters I have ever met, arrogant and snide. Too bad we won't be back until he's gone. I've dined there 25-30 times. Radek, get rid of him.

We had a lovely night out for our anniversary. We often go to Atelier for special occasions and it did not disappoint. Our waiter timed everything perfectly - we never felt rushed and enjoyed the slow pace of eating and enjoying each other's company. Yes, it's pricey, but a great night out.

Well, Atelier was, as usual, superb. We took our friend visiting from Maine. He loved the Elk entree and the appetizers we shared. First time for the Jurassic and the salmon and capers. Forget its name, but it was served in something resembling a cigar box. I could have given this dinner a 5 star review but although the bananas foster were impressively served, the dish did not came close to the original dessert. Uncooked bananas in a milky sauce? Don’t think so… But, in spite of that, we all experienced a delightful dinner. My husband had the lamb and I had the scallops.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable bastille day evening. Food was super yummy - tartare, vichyssoise, and pate to start, bouillabaisse and steak au poivre in the middle. Vichyssoise the best I have tasted! The cream and berries for dessert was more sabayon than cream which was totally fine by me. Service was lovely - attentive and well focused on timing out the courses. Love this place!

Very well done french bistro style cuisine. Well seasoned and well cooked food. Very flavorful and balanced. We sat outside which was lovely and both inside and out had a nice ambiance. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and it was a perfect night for us. Our small table was tight once we had wine, bread, and entrees on it, but we made it work. I will be recommending this spot to friends and would definitely go back again.

The charm and ambience of Atelier make this a perfect place for celebrations. The food is outstanding. Quality fish, chicken and steak, even an elk tenderloin! The vegetables, superb sauces and presentation are second to none in the Denver restaurant scene. I highly recommend this special gem.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. The food is always excellent and I love the cozy atmosphere. Easy street parking and free. A little hard to find because of limited signage but well worth discovering.
