One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. When in Albuquerque, you absolutely must dine at this restaurant. And make certain you speak with the sommelier, he's a treat and very knowledgeable.

Artichoke has been one our favorite ABQ restaurants for several years. We are always welcomed by the host. However, we have had noticeably slow service the last two visits. This is not a good sign. If it happens again, I will bring it up with management.

Friends recommended the Artichoke Cafe, and we enjoyed it so much that on a Sunday nite, when most restaurants are closed we decided to go back to the Artichoke Cafe . Everything is up to high standards and the food is delicious. The wine list offers many choice My husband, being French, was disappointed that the Cheese plate had no French Cheeses. You should look into some French cheeses , after all they have thousands to pick from and all are very good.\ All in all it is a fine restaurant for any occasion and the wait staff is very pleasant and professional. We certainly have put it on our list of regulars. Thanks for the great food and service you provide. Oh, and it was my birthday, it was very, very kind (good business move) that the dessert my husband and I shared was on the house,

Artichoke Cafe was excellent, as always. Santa Fe could learn from its example.

My wife and I had wanted to eat dinner here for quite some time. So last Friday we were able to enjoy dinner. The service was first class! Great food and relaxing atmosphere.

Extremely satisfied with both the food and service. We visited for lunch and, although the lamb dish that had been on the online menu didn't appear on the lunch menu given to us on the day of our visit, there was an adequate choice of dishes. Food was plated well and the flavors were good. The menu is limited for vegan/vegetarian choices, and iin my opinion, that is one area that could be improved. The wine choices were good but the wine by glass prices were more in line with Santa Fe prices. Service was extremely good and we were well taken care of by our server.

The place was recommended and we were very pleased with the experience. Being fairly new to the ABQ area, we are always looking for places to experience. We will return to try other dishes and wine.

Our dinner at the Artichoke Café was quite a pleasant surprise. We did not expect the quality of the café itself, the quality of food, the variety of food, the appetizers were simply fantastic and their wine list was varied and totally on with the duck I ordered. My wife's chicken dish was the best she has ever had, tender, juicy and properly prepared. This café is a jewel in Albuquerque and a nice change from Mexican food.

I was pretty disappointed. This was my first time at this highly-reviewed restaurant and I had high hopes. They were not met. The prices are very high for Albuquerque, which is OK if delivers. It didn't. Was there for a birthday dinner with my sweetheart and they paid no attention to it. The fried artichoke appetizer had anchovies, but it was not in the description - LOTS of people are not crazy about them, ya know? Ordered the scallops without the prosciutto and they held that back, but didn't compensate at all...hey - maybe a couple more than seven haricots vert? Jeez. The vegetable dish was tasty, but not particularly special. Figured they might offer a birthday dessert...no, not so much. They Strawberry rhubarb pie was a tasty little tart, but not close to as good as Flying Star's. I've lived in New York City and the Bay Area, so I'm no stranger to fine dining. This was not that. Really disappointed overall.
