The food was awful and very expensive. Not worth the price. This was my second time dining and I remembered the food wasn't great the first time but I hoped this time it would have been different. I think it was worse. Great ambiance and the service was good.
Great service and food
Service was great. Food was great. The fish views were awesome. My 19- month old loved it the most.
Overpriced food that lacks flavor and creativity.
The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. The waitress kept apologizing for delay of everything. I don't know where the breakdown occurred, but the service was lousy. I won't be back!
Kid friendly experience, expensive, but good service & great atmosphere
Food was average for the price, but that’s what you would expect. I loved our waitress and she gave drink and entree recommendations!
We were very excited to come to lunch here for a special celebration. After I made a reservation I called to request to have a seat by the windows of the aquarium. When we arrived they sat us in a booth and not next to the windows. Our waitress was not around much. We were not given any bread like the rest of the other tables. She told us we needed to ask for it. So we did and still did not receive any. We ordered 2 kids meals (mac n cheese and shrimp scewers with fruit for both). The noodles were hard and my children could not eat them. The shrimp was so overcooked that you could not chew them either. My husband ordered the linguine and the lobster was overly cooked and he could not chew that either. I got salmon and I like my salmon well done so I did not mind that my salmon was overcooked. I was not able to eat the rice due to a gluten allergy so I was told I could get white or brown rice. I asked for brown rice. She wasn't sure if they had brown rice so I said if not, I would like a side of asparagus. My food came with white rice. I asked if I could get the asparagus that I asked for and she said yes right away. My children ordered the shark marshmallow paint dessert which was absolutely adorable and so much fun. After waiting for that to arrive and them painting and eating the dessert for 20 minutes I still did not receive my asparagus. We don't like complaining, but this was just one thing after the next. We told our waitress about our kids food and my husbands lobster and I told her to not worry about the asparagus. She told me she would talk to a manager and that a manager would come speak with us. The manager never did and instead she offered us to take home a dessert. Almost $200 later and all that was eaten was my kids dessert, a glass of wine, and a glass of beer I can honestly say we will not be returning. For the prices, we expected to have at least great service and good food. We did not receive any of that. Not in the slightest. Very disappointed.
Definitely tremendous!! It made the whole experience!!
We haven't been here in years. The seafood selection is somewhat limited. I would have liked a dish focused on scallops or shrimp, but the only option I had was the Fisherman's Platter. Good but lots of food and expensive.
Overall I recommend it. Watching the fish eyeing you as you eat their cousins is quite an experience.
The service was good and the aquariums were great! The food is okay but very overpriced for the quality.
Good service and ambiance. Attendance to 2 yr old was excellent, seated next to an aquarium window helped with dinner for the adults.
Such a fun place to eat . My son loved it and the food was really good. Great service
I had 3 young ones and we were seated behind a Pillar and when asked if we could have a better seat we were told we could but another table that had 4 adults sat right in front of the aquarium where would be better for the kids. The food was ok but had much better else where.
Bri our server was amazing. She was so attentive we did wait for 10 minutes to be seated but nothing crazy. I was a party celebration suites cupcake and the furious Amazing well cooked. It was a shame that we didn't have the mermaid display because apparently mermaids are only for breakfast sitting so check the website for breakfast options if you go to see mermaids.
NICE LOCATION, GOOD FOOD, QUICK SERVICE I RECOMMEND THIS FOR FAMILIES
Masks, social distancing was not enforced. The food was over-priced and some tablets got bread baskets while others did not.
We were visiting from Washington state and wanted to see what Denver had to offer.. it was a great experience..service was excellent!! Thanks Server Bri.
Food is pretty good, but prices are really high. I don't mind paying the high prices for the ambiance and service though. We had the best server, he was so kind and attentive. Made sure to bring the Childs meal out first and had a great attitude. The service and the beautiful fish tanks make it worth the high food prices!
Service was great and food was delicious. Our kids had a great time.
The food is always great! The kids love it, and the price is reasonable considering the excellent food and the atmosphere.
It was amazing, from the Aquarium exhibits to the dining, to the wonderful resident caricature artist!! 😍😍
When we first got there, we were told to go get happy hour in the bar. So I walked over and turns out they had a private event and wouldn't serve me. So the manager came over and allowed me to order in the restaurant and apologized and stated they usually don't have private parties and made everything right. My birthday wound up being perfect and my kids loves the tanks all around us. I would definitely go back.
Excellent lobster and scallops - loved looking at the fish. Would suggest a booth.
Alex was a great and attentive server. My daughter ordered something that ended up to be too spicy. They replaced with another choice quickly. Steak and lobster was delicious! Fast service.
We made a reservation with a special notation that we were celebrating our 26th anniversary. As it was our first time to the aquarium it would have been nice to have been notified of the location of the restaurant entrance prior to our arrival as it has a separate entrance. We did not know if we needed to stand in the ticket lineup so we did for quite awhile before noticing the separate entrance tucked away in the corner. Even though we had a reservation we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The ambiance was great. We sat in a booth .... which I would highly recommend as the tables are in a wide open area with no privacy. The music playing was very classy and added to the vibe. Unfortunately there were less than 10 songs on the play list that played over and over. We felt bad for the staff if they had to listen to the same songs over and over throughout their shift. We had great service. My husband was interested in knowing about the fish in the tanks so our waitress brought him a Fish Guide which was a binder with the names and photos of all of the fish in the tanks. The variety of fish on display in the restaurant was very impressive. We ordered steak and lobster to celebrate. My husband ordered his steak medium and it was so under-cooked that his mashed potatoes were soaked in blood. I ordered my steak medium well and it was definitely over cooked and hard to cut and chew through. The lobster was undercooked. We received a dish with melted butter in it rather than the traditional heated butter trays which allow you to heat up your lobster if it’s cold. We received buns prior to our meal that were warm and delicious! Our anniversary was never acknowledged and we walked away feeling disappointed as this was our last night in Denver and we had saved celebrating our special occasion as the last activity of our get away. We were grateful that we had great service.
Service was good, scallops were tiny and burned, steak was ordered medium and overcooked. Best part of the meal was the vegetables.
Food was delicious. Aquarium was clean as was the restaurant.
Amazing!!!!!!!! Beautiful place. Great good abs the service was so good!!
Everyone was super friendly!
After reading negative reviews about the food not being worth the price, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. The atmosphere was so fun - the perfect place for our son to celebrate his birthday. And the food was very good. Would definitely go there again!
Server was good, but our food took over 30 minutes to come out and we were the first one's there. Food is CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!! $22 dollars for pasta? $13 for creme brulee??? Prices just keep going up!!!!
I brought five children in for lunch yesterday. The staff was just wonderful to all of us, friendly, joyful, efficient. It was very clean and we loved watching by the fish swim right next to our table. The food was absolutely delicious. The kids meals were even good! I would recommend the alligator; it tasted like very good chicken. We had a great time. It was pricey, but a fun splurge.
The food was great, although overpriced for what you get. The service was wonderful.
Absolutely loved the service and the feel of the restaurant. Food wasn’t amazing but good
The food was overpriced and the kids pizza was basically raw
I can get a seafood platter at Red Lobster for about $15 less than what I paid for here, and I would have had a better meal. Food quality was pretty good but not what I expected for $40.
Nice decor but good quality was poor.
A fun place with delicious food and a variety of choice. The staff was really nice and very accommodating. Thank you! We had a lot of fun!
Took our son here for his 1st birthday & had the absolute WORST experience. they provided us with good seats, but the server was horrible. Food came out cold, when asked for butter for the seafood, she didn’t bring it out until our plates were empty. Took her 20 minutes to come back and grab our check. Drinks were hardly refilled. Then when we were all standing ready to go, she then decides to bring a cupcake to sing. Horrible timing on her part. Horrible service. Will not return.
