It was amazing, from the Aquarium exhibits to the dining, to the wonderful resident caricature artist!! 😍😍
When we first got there, we were told to go get happy hour in the bar. So I walked over and turns out they had a private event and wouldn't serve me. So the manager came over and allowed me to order in the restaurant and apologized and stated they usually don't have private parties and made everything right. My birthday wound up being perfect and my kids loves the tanks all around us. I would definitely go back.
Excellent lobster and scallops - loved looking at the fish. Would suggest a booth.
Alex was a great and attentive server. My daughter ordered something that ended up to be too spicy. They replaced with another choice quickly. Steak and lobster was delicious! Fast service.
We made a reservation with a special notation that we were celebrating our 26th anniversary. As it was our first time to the aquarium it would have been nice to have been notified of the location of the restaurant entrance prior to our arrival as it has a separate entrance. We did not know if we needed to stand in the ticket lineup so we did for quite awhile before noticing the separate entrance tucked away in the corner. Even though we had a reservation we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The ambiance was great. We sat in a booth .... which I would highly recommend as the tables are in a wide open area with no privacy. The music playing was very classy and added to the vibe. Unfortunately there were less than 10 songs on the play list that played over and over. We felt bad for the staff if they had to listen to the same songs over and over throughout their shift. We had great service. My husband was interested in knowing about the fish in the tanks so our waitress brought him a Fish Guide which was a binder with the names and photos of all of the fish in the tanks. The variety of fish on display in the restaurant was very impressive. We ordered steak and lobster to celebrate. My husband ordered his steak medium and it was so under-cooked that his mashed potatoes were soaked in blood. I ordered my steak medium well and it was definitely over cooked and hard to cut and chew through. The lobster was undercooked. We received a dish with melted butter in it rather than the traditional heated butter trays which allow you to heat up your lobster if it’s cold. We received buns prior to our meal that were warm and delicious! Our anniversary was never acknowledged and we walked away feeling disappointed as this was our last night in Denver and we had saved celebrating our special occasion as the last activity of our get away. We were grateful that we had great service.
Service was good, scallops were tiny and burned, steak was ordered medium and overcooked. Best part of the meal was the vegetables.
Food was delicious. Aquarium was clean as was the restaurant.
Amazing!!!!!!!! Beautiful place. Great good abs the service was so good!!
Everyone was super friendly!
After reading negative reviews about the food not being worth the price, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at the Aquarium Restaurant. The atmosphere was so fun - the perfect place for our son to celebrate his birthday. And the food was very good. Would definitely go there again!
Server was good, but our food took over 30 minutes to come out and we were the first one's there. Food is CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!! $22 dollars for pasta? $13 for creme brulee??? Prices just keep going up!!!!
I brought five children in for lunch yesterday. The staff was just wonderful to all of us, friendly, joyful, efficient. It was very clean and we loved watching by the fish swim right next to our table. The food was absolutely delicious. The kids meals were even good! I would recommend the alligator; it tasted like very good chicken. We had a great time. It was pricey, but a fun splurge.
The food was great, although overpriced for what you get. The service was wonderful.
Absolutely loved the service and the feel of the restaurant. Food wasn’t amazing but good
The food was overpriced and the kids pizza was basically raw
I can get a seafood platter at Red Lobster for about $15 less than what I paid for here, and I would have had a better meal. Food quality was pretty good but not what I expected for $40.
Nice decor but good quality was poor.
A fun place with delicious food and a variety of choice. The staff was really nice and very accommodating. Thank you! We had a lot of fun!
Took our son here for his 1st birthday & had the absolute WORST experience. they provided us with good seats, but the server was horrible. Food came out cold, when asked for butter for the seafood, she didn’t bring it out until our plates were empty. Took her 20 minutes to come back and grab our check. Drinks were hardly refilled. Then when we were all standing ready to go, she then decides to bring a cupcake to sing. Horrible timing on her part. Horrible service. Will not return.
A wonderful family experience for all ages with many delicious food choices, great scenery and excellent staff.
Birthday dinner was just perfect, the food is absolutely good and all my friends were happy about it. The service too is awesome with a beautiful view.
Went in for my birthday hoping to get seated at a really nice table near the fishes, but apparently you have to be some type of member to get a good spot. I made the reservations a month in advanced i would have hoped they reached out about putting me somewhere nice. We got a table close to the tanks but smack in the middle of foot traffic. Food was pretty okay, nothing crazy. Due to it being the Aquarium the food was over priced. Service was good too it was busy when we were there, but our server was awesome! She brought me out my birthday dessert.
We took my mom for her birthday. We were unfortunately surrounded by screaming children. However we had a nice table by the glass (fish) and staff was super friendly. Menu is pretty limited but seafood is pretty good.
The food was good , the place its nice
We go there for the experience, not the food or service. I've been there multiple times and every time, service is always slow and lacking. Don't drink too fast cause your server will not be back any time soon to get your refill. Depending on what you order, food can range from good to ok, nothing extraordinary. We found a piece of crab shell in our cheese stick appetizer. Expect to be there for at least 1.5 hours cause even if you eat fast, you'll be waiting around for a while. There's also a delay to be seated, we had a reservation and still had to wait 20 mins to be seated.
Good atmosphere. We went for Family night that advertised discounted kids meals for $1.99 with purchase of an app and they didn't apply this discount. Paid the full $9.99 for mac and cheese and tenders :-/
Went in to celebrate my daughters big 5 years, she was supposed to have received a birthday cupcake but didn’t. The waitres put the checkbook in front of a 8 year old across the table from me like the 8 year old was going to pay for it. We didn’t receive any refills. She would take forever although there wasn’t many people. No mermaids although that part is understandable with covid.
Amazing customer service! Amazing time! The kindness of the waitstaff was incredible and we will be back.
Food was good but pricy. Our server, Bri, was great. Thought they'd have mermaids in the big tank but the didn't. That was a big disappointment.
Clam chowder was mediocre at best, Fried onion stack good and reasonably priced. Coconut shrimp was expensive and ordinary.
I'd recommend an initial visit (enjoy the Rainforest Cafe touches) but it's hard to recommend more than on trip. Enjoy the aquarium and have lunch or dinner elsewhere.
Our server was fantastic. She let us customize our orders and after one of our diners accidentally spilt water all over another, she was on the spot with towels so the wet diner could attempt to dry off.
The service was so good she earned herself a 40% tip.
I had a great time with my granddaughter! Service was good, My fish & chips were a bit overcooked but still edible. Great view of the fishes! Overall a great time, we will come back again in the future!
Everything is great and they made our day wonderful! My husband and baby enjoyed it! As well as my friend and I love their cocktail!!❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful restaurant and fair food. The walls of this restaurant look into an aquarium. The glass had finger prints and nose smudges and needs a good cleaning.
The experience was good!
It was a really nice day at the aquarium and I had made previous reservations for the restaurant. This was the first time at aquarium and got through it a bit early for our reservation but they were more than willing to take us early and gave us a tank-side table which was very fun! Food was good- we got fried gator to start followed by sharing the fisherman’s platter. The waitress was a doll!! We will return :)
Great atmosphere and tasty food, even if slightly on the pricier side. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional and the kids loved the fish swimming right by the table!
This was our first time visiting the aquarium restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised! I brought two young children and they were very accomodating and the experience was wonderful! I will definitely be returning!
Good food and with nice sizable portions. Great view of the aquarium from our table.
We celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday and our server was wonderful and helped make her day special! Can’t beat the ambiance and it’s a great place where kids can be free to wander a bit and look at the fish instead of being bored sitting at the table.
Everything about this experience was amazing!! We took a tour of the aquarium prior to dinner, spent some time in the gift shop, and the restaurant wasn't crowded - so everything was truly perfect!! We used this as our final night in the city for a family vacation and it was even BETTER than we expected. AMAZING food, great ambiance with the fish swimming directly behind us, and the service was top notch. Cannot recommend enough, and we are VERY excited to come back in the future!!
We had an amazing time! The scenery, the food, the service..it was all OUTSTANDING!! We were visiting on vacation. From the adults to the toddlers, we ALL had a blast!
