The food is excellent. Familiar dishes remixed and made exceptional. Heartily recommend the steaks, the duck and the sourdough. Service was a little cold, like hipster places used to be. Adjust your Rolex and leave a decent tip anyway, because the food really is something special.

Halibut Crudo was fishy and salty. Halibut main course was dry. Service was good.

Gonna be honest, the food tastes nothing like the original in Aspen. I had the famous Bolognese. It was extremely gritty not the smooth texture that the Aspen location is known for!

This is my second time eating brunch here and both times were poor experiences. The restaurant was empty and yet it still took 30 plus minutes to get an order of avocado toast (how hard is that to prepare?)! The service was ok. Ambiance is great. Food subpar. Took a steak knife to cut through the overdone toast.

The service at Ajax was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. They also did not have the music blaring so it kept the noise level down and they have great big comfy chairs. Ambiance is 10/10. We mostly ordered fish and it was ok, I get the feeling this place excels in the meat department so will try that next time.

The ambiance is wonderful! The decor, lighting, attention to detail is all on point. There was a corporate party on the bar side and the noise level was still a good talking level, sitting in the dining room. Our server was wonderful in giving honest suggestions and setting really great expectations for the items that we were ordering. We started with the charge shrimp served with Romasco sauce, mushroom and goat cheese tart served in a puff pastry, and then we shared the pork chop with an Aleppo pepper sauce, grilled cabbage, and potatoes. Honestly, we had to order it as second time because the first round was too tough. Though a long wait, it was very much worth it, and the manager was very kind, making sure that we were happy with our selection.. The side of carrots with Lebnah was killer because the sticky drizzle made a caramel and the pistachios added a good crunch 10/10. The broccolini was served with crème fraîche and togarashi seasoning. Good char We ended the night with the chocolate bomb, which has a nougat like cookie in the center, chocolate mousse, and a hard chocolate shell. There’s a little essence of orange in the whipped cream on the side and a great crunch of hazelnut. This dessert hit all of the texture element, and the flavor was great!

Our meal started out well with a complimentary glass of champagne for our Anniversary and an excellent trout appetizer. I ordered the pork chops which were so dry they were inedible. I was told it would take 25 minutes to cook another one which is probably why the first was overcooked. They offered me 2 sides instead because they said another entree would take too long to cook. Very disappointing.
