   The service at Ajax was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. They also did not have the music blaring so it kept the noise level down and they have great big comfy chairs. Ambiance is 10/10. We mostly ordered fish and it was ok, I get the feeling this place excels in the meat department so will try that next time.

   The ambiance is wonderful! The decor, lighting, attention to detail is all on point. There was a corporate party on the bar side and the noise level was still a good talking level, sitting in the dining room. Our server was wonderful in giving honest suggestions and setting really great expectations for the items that we were ordering. We started with the charge shrimp served with Romasco sauce, mushroom and goat cheese tart served in a puff pastry, and then we shared the pork chop with an Aleppo  pepper sauce, grilled cabbage, and potatoes. Honestly, we had to order it as second time because the first round was too tough. Though a long wait, it was very much worth it, and the manager was very kind, making sure that we were happy with our selection.. The side of carrots with Lebnah was killer because the sticky drizzle made a caramel and the pistachios added a good crunch 10/10. The broccolini was served with crème fraîche and togarashi seasoning. Good char We ended the night with the chocolate bomb, which has a nougat like cookie in the center, chocolate mousse, and a hard chocolate shell. There’s a little essence of orange in the whipped cream on the side and a great crunch of hazelnut. This dessert hit all of the texture element, and the flavor was great!

   Our meal started out well with a complimentary glass of champagne for our Anniversary and an excellent trout appetizer. I ordered the pork chops which were so dry they were inedible. I was told it would take 25 minutes to cook another one which is probably why the first was overcooked. They offered me 2 sides instead because they said another entree would take too long to cook. Very disappointing.

   Had a business lunch in a quiet corner table. Waiter let us talk before ordering 2 guests asked for substitutions-not a problem. It is a limited menu , no fish, but the food was well-prepared.

   Was just ok. First visit since it bacame Ajax. Sunday brunch . Read some reviews before visiting and one that stood out was "eggs were not cooked as ordered". Sure enough, one in my party ordered eggs over medium, I wasn't going to chance it so I went with eggs scrambled. The over medium eggs came out extremely runny. Server was a bit pushy to order drinks, food and clearing plates. The place was very quiet so maybe she had time to be attentive. Eggs cooked medium is defined as "whites that are fully cooked and a yolk that is partially set but still slightly runny in the center" these eggs had no partially set center yolk. I'll be back for lunch or dinner and see how that goes.

    Terrific Saturday brunch. The Dutch Baby pancake was delicious. Greek yogurt with loads of fresh fruit and granola was also terrific, as was the frittata. Generous portions, great service, quiet vibe, and beautiful space. All very well done
