I booked afternoon tea for a catch up with a friend and was very impressed by the experience at the Cadogan. We booked a champagne afternoon tea which came with a fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed and we certainly enjoyed passing the time in this lovely hotel.

Reunion with old friends and afternoon tea was the perfect way to catch up. Plenty of refills of hot water for our teapots and lovely sandwiches and cakes. The staff were delightful, and made us feel special without being over fussy. We stayed for hours without feeling we had to push on out, as there was plenty of space and a choice of two tastefully elegant rooms with tables or sofas for seating. Would use this venue for a chilled out meeting again.

The staff are not very attentive with the exceptional of the 'call back' there is little actual attention - this meant it is difficult to change your tea! or get hot water. The staff do not ask if you are veggie or if you need any special requests, thus assuming you can eat all what is given, which in our case was an issue. Unlike other places, we were not offered any additional samwiches or cakes. I would go again but not paying full price!

I brought my mother here for what I thought would be a perfect way to spend the afternoon but was definitely disappointed. The whole experience was underwhelming from food to presentation. The worst part however was the service. After taking our order no one came around to see if we needed more hot water for our tea pots or to see if we would anything else. We sat with empty plates and tea for the whole time by the time we were able to get someones attention it was so late we just asked for the bill.

Tea and service were lovely. Not the most outstanding selection of sandwiches and scones I've had, but nice enough, especially after a rainy day at the Chelsea flower show.

My partner and I took our two mothers for afternoon tea at the Cadogan. The food was very good and we were sorry not to be able to finish it all. We had a special offer so enjoyed a glass of champagne initially. The room we were in was very elegant and comfortable although I opted for a more upright chair as the sofa seemed quite low relative to the table. A live jazz trio were playing. The choice of music was perfect but our one and only criticism was the music was slightly too loud and made it difficult for us to hear each other at times but other than that a very enjoyable afternoon tea with very charming and attentive staff.
