Had an incredible time celebrating my husband’s birthday at Ritual House. We didn’t take photos but we’re good at giving credit when it’s due. It was absolutely due, thanks to the attentive service and a beautiful meal that speaks for itself. We had the fried burrata, shrimp cocktail, fig and prosciutto flatbread and the deviled eggs to start.. (can’t tell you what’s my favorite because they were all delicious). Then came short ribs, tuna sashimi and salmon teriyaki, plus a bonus of an incredible salmon dish with crab and a moutarde a l’ancienne type sauce (divine). Dessert was celebratory, with fireworks and was a fantastic chocolate cake with homemade cotton candy, and red fruits sauce. We also had the delightful rocher chocolate dessert. It was to put it simply a wonderful and perfect way to celebrate another year with family. Can’t thank JP and the team enough !

It's always a treat to dine at Eddie V's, especially for special occasions. We were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary - and the table was strewn with rose petals and tiny, little birthday cake and Happy Birthday signs. Service and food always outstanding. Thank you for another memorable evening!

Our waitress Maddie was fabulous. So attentive and gracious. We couldnt have asked for anything cause she saw to it that we had it. The food was awesome. Next time we're in Pittsburh, Eleven will be visited. My granddaughter had the filet and said it was the BEST STEAK EVER. Everything we had was great. No complaints. Wine selection is perfect for wine pairing. Thank you for an awesome dinner and a great evening out.

The Vandal was great again. We had both new desserts-wow! Lamb Brochete and fried Halibut were very good as well as the re-imagined Smoked Trout appetizer.

Pittsburgh’s most iconic foods are also its heartiest. After all, the city has had to feed famished steelworkers and 300-pound Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s not uncommon to find french fries on everything from sandwiches to green salads, so it’s a good thing that nearby Heinz produces 650 million bottles of ketchup every year. The famous Pittsburgh rare steak was the advent of pre-microwave era steel workers who had 30 minutes for lunch. Who doesn’t miss the days of charring raw steaks on hot blast furnaces? Former Pittsburghers have dreams about spicy chipped chopped ham, a local staple since 1933. A pierogi is a sort of Polish take on a pot sticker, and upscale chefs do all kinds of creative things with them. Save room for burnt pecan torte, Lawrenceville's favorite cake.
