Whitehall Restaurants

My son and I enjoyed dinner following a musical in the Cultural District. We arrived about 45 minutes earlier than our reservation and the staff were very accommodating to seat us. Our waiter, Given, was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and very helpful. I intend to request him when I return. The entire staff seemed to enjoy a seamless coordination of assisting each other throughout our evening. The pacing was fantastic and Given’s recommendations were spot on. We started with the Bacon AuPoivre and King Crab Rainbow Roll which were both delicious. My son had the half chicken and I enjoyed the Double Bone Pork Chop both of which had great flavors. I added the Wild Roasted Mushrooms which were perfectly prepared. The portions are generous, and we both brought home more than half our entrees, but my son “saved room” for the Strawberry Hibiscus Cheesecake, which was well-plated and the perfect end of a perfect meal at the end of a perfect day.

Outstanding service - such a treat because it’s so uncommon. Fabulous cocktails! Loved the signature margarita. Delicious food! We’ll be back.

All of the wait staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Manager stopped by to introduce herself as well. Steaks were on point and delicious. Sides were great sharing portions and desserts were fantastic. Would definately visit again.

Always a great experience when having a meal there, especially when entertaining people from out of town with their first visit to Pittsburgh.

The service was a little slow, but I think she was just giving us time to enjoy the meal and not hover. She was an excellent waitress otherwise. It was my birthday and they brought out a free dessert which was great! The food was delicious and you can’t beat the view of the city in the river room.
