The smoked beets were the best single dish I have ever eaten. If not for a mildly disappointing dessert, this would have been one of the best meals I’ve ever had. It was very good and very unexpected form Pittsburg. If you find yourself near it, go!

Had a great time and a great meal at the Vandal. the Vandal is the only restaurant in Pittsburgh that has the vibe of a great Bistro in Greenwich Village or Soho. Smoked Trout Rillettes were bright and amazing. The Panisse with Broccolini and greens was eye opening and the the Hanger steak au poivre was as great as ever. Fun wines and great service.

The Vandal was an awesome spot for a friend dinner - fantastic menu options, fabulous drink menu. The burger was worth the hype! I will definitely be back!

The steak poivre and frites is outstanding, cooked perfectly and perfect for sharing. Cocktails are tasty. Nice evening.

Very consistent- had the soft shell crab feature- well seasoned, good temperature- the sauce was fantastic….. service was great!

The staff made it so cosy! If we lived here it would definitely be a regular spot of ours. Loved the wine selection and menu.
