    Our traveling group of 6 had a lovely dinner on the patio. Our waiter, Steve, was amazing. Knew the menu well, was timely with our service and was able to share some history. We all enjoyed our meals very much. The only thing that gave us a hiccup was paying for the parking in the lot next door. You need codes and I needed to be hooked up to wifi to access the payment portal. We arrived early so I had time to figure it out with the help of the 2 hostesses and 2 bartenders. It took a village.

    As always the Pine Tavern is a favorite of ours. Great selection of cuisine andf service was great as we sat outside by the Deschutes river.

    Thanks to Pine Tavern for being open on Mondays. We enjoyed the outside dining and service was great. We are happy that the downtown parking was Free!

    It was a great dinner. My husband had the prime rib and our daughter and I had the halibut special. All was fantastic as was the service. A very nice night at the Pine!

    We never got our dinner! Our reservation was at 6:00. We had a bottle of wine & then salads. At 7:50, we rounded up the waitress, paid & left . This was the last night of our out- of-town guests’ visit! Horrible! No manager or kitchen staff or anyone came to apologize or tell us what was going on. When we went to find the waitress, she said the kitchen got slammed which was pretty silly as the restaurant was maybe half full, at best! We saw two couples also leave without any dinner as they had theater tickets. What an awful experience…….

    We very much wanted to like this place but came away with a mixed bag. It's a quirky, attractive place conveniently located downtown. My wife's fish and chips were quite good, however, the tartar sauce had an off after taste. Disappointing because who doesn't like dipping their fries and fish in tartar? My half rack of babyback ribs was dry and the sauce tasted like diluted ketchup. The fries and coleslaw were good. My pear lemonade had a strange floral taste.
