The meal was delicious. Our waiter was very personable and efficient. Given the restaurant was very busy, we were still served in a timely manner.

I had asked friends for a quintessential Bend restaurant experience. They recommended Pine Tavern and I’m glad they did! Great outdoor and indoor space. Food was excellent. Waiter was very conscientious. The kitchen was a little backed up so the food came out a little slow, but they comped a dessert ( perfect creme brule) and we really didn’t care anyway. Only reason I gave it four stars on value is because the by-the-glass wine selection is limited and a little pricey. When I’m next in Bend, I for sure come back!

We’re locals and come here every now and then. Last night the food was just ok. Ribs were tender but dry, chowder was tasteless. Cocktails were very good and different though . The front desk young hostess was delightful. Our waiter was slow and barely friendly . We Waited forever to get our check, finally another waitress helped us . First time in a long time that I gave less than a 20% tip . I’ll go back but probably just to the bar!

The food was simple but very good. The staff was super friendly. I remember eating here as a kid and it still doesn’t disappoint.

Our server, David, was outstanding! Food was excellent. We really enjoyed the private booths. No background noise to mess up your conversation.

Service was solid and the location in downtown Bend, right on the river, is great. The food is good at best. I ordered the Steak Frites which was good; the buerre blanc sauce that came with it actually took away from the dish instead of complimenting it. My wife ordered the pasta pomodro and it was awful; flavorless, very starchy and overall an unappetizing dish. Sticking with their classics may be the way to go if you dine here.

The prime rib and halibut were perfect at Pine Tavern. The ambiance is relaxing, wait staff are attentive. I was able to make a reservation for Friday evening that morning. I recommend making a reservation, when you can.
