I'm sad to write this, because I love trying new restaurants and celebrate the good ones as much as I can! We brought a party of 8 to this restaurant last week and not only was the bill over $400 with tip, but the food wasn't very good. The lamb was dry and overcooked and was stuck in the middle of a bowl of chickpeas and tomatoes. How many chick peas can one person eat? My husband couldn't eat his dish either - it just wasn't done well at all. Really disappointing because we love Tuscany and love the town of Panzano - was hoping that it would be better.
Food & service were excellent as always. We have been going to Panzano for years & it never disappoints or grows old. Drinks were especially good. We all felt that the pork chop was the best dish. We will be back.
The mixed drinks were very good and my dining companion got the roast chicken with rosotto which wss outstanding. I ordered the lamb rugu which was not good unfortunately. Very oily and with a sharp vinegar flavor with green pasta noodles. Very unappealing visually and not to my taste. I'd give it another shot but order something different.
We sat at the chef counter and had a very interesting and interactive experience. The food and staff were excellent.
Excellent food and service!! The frittata mista is exceptional!! The seafood pasta too!!
Had a wonderful meal with my wife, yes things are a bit pricey but the food was excellent, particularly the crispy brussel sprouts and the lobster ravioli.
The manager was so nice to us. She had been to Italy (which we also have) & came & talked about her wine menu with us. She gave us wonderful recommendations. The food was delicious!
Great food and service. Wonderful.
Wonderful food, wonderful service. Will be back.
There was a limited menu, food was decent but nothing memorable, charged for bread with 30 dollar pasta entrees isn't a good value in my opinion. There a better options it would seem.
Disappointing. Pork chop was underdone. Both got sick afterwards, since the only item we both had was the scallops, had to have been that.
The brussel sprouts were outstanding! They even gave me the recipe to recreate them at home!!!
Our family of 6 dined at Panzano on Christmas. We were disappointed in the limited menu which included no seafood. The usually terrific grilled Caesar salad was limp and some of the meals were not hot when served. It was not the dining experience we are accustomed to having at Panzano.
The food was very good. The wait staff were very professional and courteous. Given the holiday crowd, we still enjoyed ourselves. Our only complaint was the bar service was rude, while we waited for our reserved table to open. We went to the bar to have a cocktail and were demanded to return to our seats and a bar server would take our order. After we returned to our seats the bartender served several people behind us at the bar.
Such amazing food and service! Gluten free bread is amazing!!! So nice that they have so many gluten free options and take people’s allergies seriously.
Good sized portions but wasn’t blown away by the food. It was alright, probably won’t go again. Service was great
Always consistent, love it at Panzano.
We hadn’t been to Panzano for years. Had a lovely breakfast. Good menu - not too big, but adequate options. Food was very good. Service was excellent - genuine kindness and concern. Will be back soon.
Food was delicious! The service was outstanding! I encourage you to try something new while eating there, very tasty!
Very good and definitely a great place to eat before or after a show at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House!
Beautiful restaurant, the service was outstanding. Michael was very kind, hospitable and friendly. Thank you Michael for making our evening great. The food was delicious!
EXCELLENT ALWAYS!! Dec. 22, 2019
Staff and food were excellent! I highly recommend enjoying an evening at Panzano’s
I was actually very disappointed in this time at Panzano. It used to be one of my favorites. But this time the pasta was totally under cooked. The vegetable that went with my fish was raw & not very tasty. My daughter's pasta was under cooked a fair. They charged for bread and it was a bit stale. Dessert was elaborate but not that great. The service was very good. But the food really wasn't up to par.
Loved our experience here. Great service, outstanding food! I celebrated my 50th Birthday here with friends and could not have been happier!
We had an excellent holiday
The appetizers (we all loved the Brussel sprouts) the cheese and charcuterie plate had very good selections
The bread served was very good
Franciscan was our wine choice (cabernet sauvignon)
I tend to eat vegetarian so the ravioli was an excellent choice and it was served with celery root which i like a lot
The rest of group had the lamb and it was enjoyed
The dessert was Tiramisu - i think the best i ever had :) and all agreed
The staff was delightful and we had a great time
Great wait staff!! Food was really good.
Panzano is a great restaurant! The service is great, the food wonderful!
Our meal was spectacular. As someone with food sensitivity it was wonderful to have so many options. My meal started with the gluten free focaccia that is worth the dinner on its own. The brussel sprouts and salads were prepared with attention to detail and very flavorful. The star of the meal were the entrees. Perfectly seared scallops with a creamy interior, property cooked tender juicy pork and rich flavorful pastas. Dessert was the signature butterscotch bundino, excellent as usual. The service from Maggie was beyond reproach and the rest of the staff were excellent. Thank you for a great celebration meal!
I booked this restaurant from just outside the Philadelphia area for a business meeting that I wasn't attending and the reports back were wonderful, the business guest really enjoyed their meals and service!
Panzano is a lovely place to have a special meal. Even though my group wasn't in a private room, we were separated enough that we felt somewhat isolated and not in the mix of the main restaurant. The service and the food have always been great and I highly recommend Panzano.
Had a wonderful holiday lunch, and also love Panzano for happy hour! They are very gluten-free friendly also.
Great service - pasta dish (Grano Arso Orecchiette) was a bit salty with heavy garlic. Pricey for a pasta dish and mediocre taste.
Our server was awesome! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and answered any questions we had! It is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Denver with delicate Italian food! Must try!
Delicious calamari, bread and pasta although my dish was spicier than I usually like and expected. Truly great service. A little loud.
Visiting family in Denver we decided to go out to celebrate the upcoming holidays. We chose Panzano because it had been a favorite of ours when we used to live in Denver. I love it’s ambience and the food was always delicious.
There were nine of us in our party. The evening was fine for the most part, it’s when the food got served that it went downhill. Everyone got their food except for my daughter. Our server told her it was still warming up and asked if she would like a complementary salad while she waited for her chicken. The wait turned out to be about 20 minutes, since the ticket for the chicken was never placed with the rest of the orders. My husband and I were planning on sharing some of her food since she wasn’t that hungry, so in turn we were waiting as well.
Nobody came to our table to apologize and tell us what was going on. Half of our group had finished their meals when my husband had to flag down the manager and told him this was uncalled for. Only then where we told the chicken would be comped. Instead of apologizing he put the blame on the ticket system & the server. We really just wanted I’m sorry let me take care of it. I get it things happen and mistakes are made, but nip it in the bud. it was just not a pleasant experience.
It also felt like the staff was trying to stay clear of our table while we were waiting for her chicken because her soda never got filled up and it felt like we were being ignored.
This could’ve been an easy resolve with someone coming over to our table explaining what was going on and apologizing instead of us having to flag down someone.
In the end we did enjoy ourselves the food and drinks were delicious, but there was a bad taste left in her mouth on how the mishap was handled.
Expensive. Waiter and bus boys look down on you. Food was ok. They charge even for the bread. Outdated decor. Check marked for me. Would not come back.
