No bread and butter. Food was crazy expensive - for what we got. Felt ripped off.
Accommodated my request for a booth and a window for our special 4 year anniversary celebration. Great social distance between diners. Amazing service. Unbelievable food. Even received a complimentary dessert for our special night!! A must go dining destination!
Matt the host was incredibly helpful, and Christian our server was really patient since we had two littles later on a Friday night.
Our waiter was fantastic. Attentive, funny and made great wine suggestions. The food was great, as well and the ambiance is always 5 stars!
Used to dine here often before COVID. First time back did not disappoint. Staff and waiters were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Tables well spaced, quiet atmosphere.
Bolognese and Picatta Pollo both good.
We love this restaurant, but last night they were not up to their usual game. When we arrived, the hostess seemed confused as to where to sit us until we saw a set table and asked to sit there. She then proceeded to tell us we had 90 minutes at the table. Although that is clearly stated on their reservation, in these times of COVID, that is the first time and host or hostess verbalized that to us. Just a weird way to start an experience. The menu is very limited at present: apps, a few pizzas, four pastas and four main dishes. Drinks came promptly and were wonderful. Food arrived fast, warm and wonderful. Overall, the food portion of the meal was timed well and we were not rushed; but, our bottle of wine sat unopened for 1/2 the meal waitind for the hostess to open and pour it for the table. Not sure why the waiter could not do that for us.. Overall, we will go back and highly recommend you do so as well after reading this review. Ask to add proteins to your pasta if so desired until the full menu is restored.
We enjoy Italian food and will go to Panzano’s for special occasions. The service was wonderful and the food superb. The seasonal asparagus special and braised short ribs were my choice. My wife decided on a pasta but would have probably opted for a main dish from the Pesce/Carne menu had there been a couple more options to pick from (chicken/salmon/veal or the braised rib special didn’t strike a chord). Wine was great, app was great. Ambiance was ok but Covid os weird.
While the food we were able to order was tasty, they are missing all of the gluten free options that used to grace the menu. I was very disappointed to have brunch with no toast or scone option. Unfortunately, Panzano's is no longer on our gluten friendly list.
Nice to see this fine restaurant open and serving their awesome cuisine.
The food and service were excellent - as the always are.
Need bread with Italian food. They should have had a Plan B. Service was good but all the disclaimers before sitting down is a nuisance. Other restaurants have the same issues but dont go overboard with verbal instructions. By now, we all know the rules for us adults
Will go again when normal returns
We had a wonderful dinner at Panzano. For appetizers we shared the Seafood Mixta (crispy, tender and plentiful) and Melanzine Parmagiana (delicious, but quite small for the $16 price). For dinner, my husband and I shared a Panzanella Salad and a Pepperoni & Salsiccia (sausage) Pizza. Both were delicious, especially the pizza, which had a crispy crust and lots of cheese and meats. Our friends both raved over their Veal Marsala. The wine list was extensive but pretty expensive...nothing under $48 per bottle. But we did find an Italian Sangiovese blend that was wonderful. We'll definitely return next time we visit Denver.
Really delightful experience again. Have not eaten here in a long time but will be returning soon. Quality of dishes and preparation was superb. The brussel sprout appetizer is a favorite. A very memorable meal. Don't let Covid-19 stop you from going out.
Thanks staff for a quality dining experience!
Great food, friendly service. The prosciutto and fig pizza appetizer was to die for!
As usual, great food, delivered really fast. Our waiter was exceptional
This was a business meal, but it would be perfect for just about any occasion. Drinks in bar area before dinner were on point. Then for the meal we had everything from a pizza, spaghetti, and a chicken dish. All outstanding! Highly recommend.
Great Pizza & Brussel Sprout Appetizer.
Exceptional service. Brian Papa rocks!
The service was good, but the food was very spicy.
Great food, great service! The cheese plate came with exactly one kind of cheese though...but lots of pickled veggies.
They forget to make our entrees and had to rush the order. The server actually tried to take our desserts before we even got our food. They had to rush our meal in the kitchen. My husbands pizza was undercooked. I’m shocked as this place is usually really good.
Food was delicious and our waiter was the BEST!
Excellent meal & service! Ambiance was a bit weird due to Covid spacing of tables. Our server was professional - great experience!
Good food! Straight forward , well executed We enjoyed the steak special.
Brian is one of the greatest servers and the manager I believe his name was Max values people as well. Thank you Kristine for the great service to.
We came to Denver and Panzano was listed as a top restaurant destination downtown. We got reservations on Valentines night. OMG, this place was so good. The Bolognese pasta, salmon and prime Filet mignon were all probably the best we had ever had. Such a magical night. Would recommend.
The experience was wonderful for the most part, but I felt a little neglected by our server after he got tables that seemed to be spending more money than us. It was our first time in, and the food was phenomenal, but we had drinks before dinner and did not order cocktails nor 4 courses. We did however still order nonalcoholic beverages and 3 courses. A few tables next to us came in with fur coats and appeared to be very ritzy. The difference in conversation, menu suggestions, and overall treatment seemed dependent on social status, which was uncomfortable. We saw our server few and far times in between after he got ritzier tables. It’s not a big deal, but it was still $130 meal for us, and made me feel like it wasn’t enough for equal treatment from the wait staff. Regardless, I do believe that we will be back, but it should be of note.
We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer and it was delicious as was the salmon. It was my sons birthday and the waiter brought out a rum cake and he LOVED it! We would definately go back next time we're in the area
Went for our 25th anniversary and were very pleased. We both had the steak and it was very very good. The Brussels sprouts were the best we’ve ever had. Brian gave great service. We’ll be going back as soon as we can
I love this place, forever one of my favorite places. All the servers are always friendly and give great recommendations, and the food is the best Italian I've had in Denver. Worth the cost!
This is the first Italian place we've been to in Denver and it did not disappoint! The brussel sprouts app, the fig/prosciutto pizza, and the bolognese pasta were all delicious! Our waiter Chris was great. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back
One of our favorites! The food, drinks & wine are excellent. Service is terrific! They tend to spoil us! If you like watching what's going on outside, request a booth. There aren't many, but it can be entertaining!
Everything was great - a member of our group was a little rowdy, but the rest of us had a great time.
My husband and I went to Panzano's for the first time this past weekend. We both agreed that it was the best pizza we have ever eaten! So light and fresh. The food/drinks are a bit pricey, which is our only complaint. But, if we are in the Denver area again, we would still go for the pizza!
Service was really slow. Not sure if it’s just everything going on but definitely kg
Our server, Chris was great! Everyone there was very friendly. Only complaint we had was not being able to have some bread but it was COVID related so no one's fault.
Reduced menu due to COVID-19. Will have to go back!
