My husband and I went to Panzano's for the first time this past weekend. We both agreed that it was the best pizza we have ever eaten! So light and fresh. The food/drinks are a bit pricey, which is our only complaint. But, if we are in the Denver area again, we would still go for the pizza!
Service was really slow. Not sure if it’s just everything going on but definitely kg
Our server, Chris was great! Everyone there was very friendly. Only complaint we had was not being able to have some bread but it was COVID related so no one's fault.
Reduced menu due to COVID-19. Will have to go back!
We had Brussels sprouts, calamari and salmon. Amazing food!
Great!! Service was amazing!
Favorite Italian restaurant downtown Denver. Look forward to time when full operations of the restaurant are available after COvVID restrictions.
Always great food and excellent service.
was seated well in the back of the restaurant which at first I did not want but came to enjoy the seclusion. Starting with the Brussel Sprouts and two good old-fashioneds, one for me and one for my partner. Delicious. The apple was a great touch. We split two entrees, the shrimp scampi was very good, although not a traditional by-the-book scampi. Would order again. The wild boar bolognese was my favorite. Rich, moist yet not overwhelming. Overall, a good night out, good food, and service. Support local, buy downtown (and other places, too)
Food not good at all, steak was more like a roast, asked for sauce and still waiting for sauce. Only 3 Italian dishes on the menu so how is it an Italian restaurant. Plus after making a reservation why tell us you have this amount of time to eat.
Great gluten free options even with a limited menu. Server was knowledgeable about wine pairings. Good food and experience.
My group of 4 went here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night and let me tell you, biggest mistake ever! The server acted as if he had something better to be doing other than making money and providing good service to paying patrons. He messed up my drink order by not bringing the sample I asked for despite bringing everyone else’s drink orders. I again asked about my sample. He came back but with a full glass, despite me asking for a sample twice. He finally got it right and bought me the sample. The menu was extremely limited!! They literally had 3 pastas. It was not good and it was just shrimp scampi. I ended up sending mine back, and literally got red sauce with noodles. A $28 dollar kids meal basically. People in my group asked the manager of the restaurant what they do for birthdays and he responded, “nothing now due to Covid”. I get it, Covid has changed everything but you’re literally not even going to try and do something for a table that spent close to $300. Speaking of our tab, the manager said he would take off the shrimp scampi which he didn’t. He just discounted $10 which mathematically didn’t make sense. We were visiting Denver and plan to come back. But this place won’t be on the itinerary! Oh the bristles sprouts and calamari were good but that’s about it. They have free bread according to Yelp but we don’t get anything? Wonder why that is. Hmmm. Perhaps because we are young and they don’t think we have the money to spend!? Who knows! But the waiter missed out on a good tip
We really enjoyed our dinner here. Started with 3 different appetizers, the brussel sprouts, charcuterie board and calamari. Every one of them were delicious and they came out really fast, before we even put in our dinner order. Husband and I split the ceasar salad and pasta bolognese, they were both very good.
Our server was very attentive, wish I could recall his name. He seemed very outgoing and fun to be around.
We were very glad we made the decision to dine here, will definitely be back in the near future.
Table spacing was great!
Return to the restaurant after 9 years.
Fabulous food, easy parking... we will return . I had the ceasar salad that is grilled and fabulous. I also had the ravioli that was amazing!
The best Italian in Denver. Staff and service are the best I’ve experienced in a long time.
Had not been in awhile and was very pleased. Service and food were great.
Wonderful experience, papa our server was fantastic! Food and service was outstanding
Great service. Delicious Italian food. Covid-19 dining in effect, which is appropriate at this time. This a great choice for fine Italian dining in Denver. My personal favorite. Under normal circumstances, Panzanos is a vibrant and lively place to dine.
Although we have had great experiences here in the past, our most recent dinner was unfortunately not good. We were celebrating our anniversary and picked Panzano because of their great selection of gluten free options and previous amazing dinners. This time, as soon as we were seated, the host/manager said that they were fully booked so we could only have the table for an hour and half. Not a great or welcoming start but ok, I get it, COVID limits them. We order our wine, and waited 20 minutes before the waiter came back to tell us they were having trouble finding it and did we want to order dinner? We did, and our salads came up before they FINALLY brought our wine. We wanted a leisurely time enjoying some wine before dinner. No apologies. The menu is severely limited so many of our favorites (including bread!) weren't available. Should have let us know when we made our reservations. Finally, wanted to order after dinner drinks and were told we needed to take them into the lobby because...TIMES UP! Felt rushed and unwelcome. Definitely would not go back for any special occasions since they didn't seem to want to make it special for us.
Food was good as usual. Service good as usual
But the menu was greatly reduced, only 3 pasta dishes, only 3 entree dishes, only one dessert.
Head chef wore his face mask around only his throat, not over his mouth, not over his nose, no Covid prevention at all while he prepared the food. Watched him for 1.5 hours, never raised his mask over his mouth or nose. Sorry we would like to support Pantano but we won't be back til Covid is over
Excellent service and ambiance. Pasta was great and the Brussel sprouts are a must have. But Scallops were a little overdone and were too, over the top, spicy.
Very good food. Right portion size. Beautiful restaurant.
Panzano never disappoints! Consistently delicious food and stellar service from the legendary Brian has made this the traditional place to meet my son for dinner each time I visit.
Excellent food and service.
Limited menu options
Food & service are always top notch
Our 10yr anniversary was made perfect going to pazanos! I literally held back tears! And the food was the best!🥰🥰 overall we will never forget how amazing the staff and food were!
Creative menu with attention to detail! Excellent Brussell Sprouts done in a fantastic new combination of flavors. Service was outstanding!
Medium well thick fillet was the best! Brussel sprouts were so good. I will be back!
The food wasn’t good. It has good wine menu
Panzano's has always been one of Denver's finest Italian restaurants with an active bar and delicious service. In close proximities to several of Denver's great, boutique hotels, it was a sure "go-to." Then came COVID and I got worried for these great little places that are so dependent on travel, tourism and the Central Business District. I'm glad to report that the food is as good as ever. And the staff is really, really working hard to take care of those of us venturing out in masks to support our local restaurants. The menu is a little more limited, but the execution of their selections is superb. Don't forget these gems and help bring back some of our best. -d.
Great place to eat and the staff did a great job with the COVID rules
I thought in general the food was good and the service was great. The disappointing part was the timing of the overall dinner. We had ordered an appetizer and cocktails to start off but our entrees came out basically the same time as our appetizer and even before our cocktails were even served so we had everything we ordered all at the same time.
Limited menu maybe due to COVID. $40 for scallops is reasonable.
No bread in the house. We were told since they don't have a baker just now they don't serve bread but you would think they would bring some in to fill the gap.
Socially-distanced seating. Very large portions. Very well-prepared items. Thoroughly enjoyable overall.
Very pleasant atmosphere set within a contemporary take on Italian cuisine.
Precautions for COVID-19 were closely followed throughout the dining experience. Enjoyed the decor and the setting design.
Server was knowledgeable and shared great recommendations, aside from the main entree. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the calamari misto as well as the grilled Caesar salad. The Bolognese was decidedly average and didn’t stand out as anything special, unfortunately. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection and deserved an honorable mention. Missed the mark on this one dish but otherwise an excellent experience.
A little overpriced but a great place for a date. Was not bothered by limited menu whatsoever.
it was very fancy and the food was amazing! and the service was great. and there was no waiting a long period of time for food!
