Osso Buco Con Risotto

Excellent food. We had veal piccata, mushroom ravioli and a vegetarian pasta special and were all pleased. Friendly, warm service.
Salad was drenched in dressing which made the greens soggy and tasteless. Pasta was over cooked. Food presentation was bad. Sauce dripping over plates.
Overcooked pasta, poorly trained server, poor experience overall. We paid a lot for mediocrity
The food was outstanding - except the creme brulee they served had no brulee whatsoever, and there was no creme - we got a tapioca pudding. Layered with luscious blueberries and whipped cream which were cook, but the dessert we ordered is not what we got. It's a wonderful restaurant, however, in every other way.
We are local diners and Osteria has always been one of our favorite restaurants but lately the food has been very inconsistent and disappointing. On our last visit, the veal piccata and the chicken parmigiana were both overcooked, tough and dry. If we had not been with friends, we would have sent both dishes back. On a previous visit, the same two dishes were prepared properly. This inconsistency is troubling and we are not sure what we would order on our next visit. Hopefully the kitchen consistency will improve in the future.
We had a delightful mean, with personalized service from the owner and our server, Eduardo.
Food was disappointing and had no idea why waitstaff was trying to speak French at an Italian restaurant. I hadn’t been here in years and now I remember why. Have potential to be great if they bought the chef a few cookbooks.
Lovely time. Grazie, mille!
All 3 of us loved it. Even considering going back again before we leave town. Delicious Italian food from an authentic chef from Lake Come, Italy. Nice bottle of wine, great ambiance! Perfecto!!
The meals were unremarkable. My pasta was cold. The dishes were delivered at different times so our guests had to wait to start. The menu was more like a Jersey diner (but not as good) than a classic Italian trattoria. I would not return. Oh, and we booked an outside table and they stuck our party in an entryway. Avoid this place and go elsewhere. And finally they billed us twice for one dish and had to return the check to be amended. Not worth $300 for four adults and a child. This did not include coffee and desert.
Wonderful dinner. Attentive but unobtrusive service. The salad was served icy cold. Everyone was very pleased with their entree. And the tiramisu was a grand finale
Noise level was a bit high but nice to be in a busy lively restaurant again!
Served wrong food. Overall a vast disappointment.
Fantastic food and superior service.
Everything was fabulous!
Upon arrival we were shown to a table in a high traffic area…OK, we are tourists, not a big deal. My menu did not have the page with the appetizers and salads. A young man being trained offered us a choice of water…we requested and received a bottle of Pellegrino but throughout the meal he kept trying to pour tap water in our glasses. The Campari and soda we ordered were quite modest in size with the glasses overflowing with ice…and, they cost $13 each. My carpaccio cost $19 and was very tough…it also was a brown color in certain areas and was dried out. We were offered bread and requested olive oil and Parmesan for dipping. The young man had no clue what we wanted but another waiter overheard and brought the olive oil to which we had the young man add the Parmesan. While we were still eating our starters a server approached us with our meals…at least two times…then someone asked if they could clear our plates. My reply was we were still eating. Then the manager arrived to clear the plates when we were finished…he also brought our meals. My veal Marsala was actually quite good but my companion’s Carbonara pasta dish was dried out and had very little pancetta.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
Busy night since rain moved all the outside diners in. But the staff rose to the challenge. Dining took a bit longer than normal but the service was great and the food excellent.
Good food and service. Outdoor seating was terrific.
Server was excellent, he took care of 6 of us quite well! Been to this restaurant many times over the years.
Nice patio dining. Service was comically disorganized—either completely inattentive, or three people simultaneously bringing us bread from three different directions. Witnessed a couple servers arguing loudly with each other. Disgruntled, irritated bartender. So my dinner companion proclaims, “I think this means the food is going to be amazing.”
Guess what: The food is amazing.
Very poor service from waiter - mixed up our order and delayed request for drink, salad, plates, and cracked red pepper
The food was well below average. Pork Chops (medium) was very tough, duck breast was tough and of poor quality. Even the bread was tasteless.
We had made a reservation which helped us out immensely as the line was long and getting longer. Our table was along the path to the restrooms, bar, etc. which made for a busy time at our table. As a party of two our conversation was easily drowned out by bigger tables around us. The food, as well as cocktails, were excellent as always. It makes it easy to understand why we keep coming back.....the food is excellent despite the slightly less than five star service an ambience.
Best lasagne ever and a good contrast with the traditional Santa Fe food offered elsewhere,
Lino always delivers a great experience! We love you old friend!
We had a very enjoyable meal. The service was good and the food was excellent. My wife said her salmon and pasta dish was the best she every had. My veal Marsala was very good as well.
Took visitors and had a lovely dinner on the patio. Great food!
Nice restaurant. Food good. Nice decor. Too loud for quiet dining.
Lovely food! Terrific beverages! We had wonderful service and the menu offered varied choices. Very much a reminder of our travels in Italy. A wonderful change from southwest food. A must!
Nice wine selection. Carpaccio good and wedge salad very good. Lasagna was served cold, sent back twice it was still not served hot—had to ask to have it removed from bill as it was unacceptable. Linguine special was tasty but had to be reheated as initially served cold. Reheating did not include replating, just a very hot dish, perhaps microwaved. A dessert was offered as compensation but was inedible—a tiramisu that was dry and glutinous. Overall a great disappointment. The waiter was pleasant and wanted to make it right. Waitstaff cannot repair what chef does in the kitchen.
Due to COVID, not up to par. They need to work on the service. The food was very good and the ambiance very nice.
Food was ok, not great. Seated us quickly and in a great room.
Food was good, but not very rustic Italian that we expected. staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and with some lack of service coordination. Overall we had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the restaurant. Not fine dining to match the pricing of the food
Food and service were excellent! Our server was great, very helpful and attentive. A must visit for great Italian food.
The waiter was in over his head. He messed up orders at several tables then got angry when patrons complained. Began shouting and swearing.
Our mussels appetizer was poor: heavy bland tomato sauce with no flavor highlights and tiny mussels.
The bread was excellent.
The branzino special was really good.
Overall the waiter’s behavior set a palpable tension in the restaurant that spoiled the whole evening. We hope he finds another profession that suits him better.
Not comfortable hearing staff argue with each other about a mistake in our order. Pretty unprofessional. Food was good!
Don’t know what went wrong. The lasagne Bolognese was dry. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can. This is not typical. When we were there in December, the food was much better.
It was my birthday. We just a great time. The food took longer but we loved each and every meal that we had and got.
Everything was great...we're from Birmingham Alabama, (a foody town) and we know good food when we see/eat it.
Very good food and service. My husband and I both had the Osso Buco and it was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very helpful with our wine selection.
4 of us went to dinner while in Santa Gr and We were served an hour after we were seated. The table next to us came in after us, was served, ate, finished, paid and left before we were served.
When our food arrived it was cold and the food that my my husband ordered was brought out twice incorrectly and the third time was right. (10 minutes after we received ours.)
The sea bass had little flavor and the vegetables were over done. The chicken Parmesan was nothing special, however my husband’s linguini de mare he said was good.
On another note, we all ordered cocktails and none were good. Order wine and beer and you’ll be fine but not a cocktail. Someone doesn’t know how to make them
This was a very expensive meal and the food and service didn’t come close to being worth it.
I do not recommend.
