    It is so disappointing that Ocean Prime has discontinued bread service. All other restaurants of the same class - ie capital grille, Flemings, Eddie V’s all provide complimentary service. Our waiter was quite rude when he explained the upcharge and for what your prices are for lunch that should not be an upcharge. If bread is wasted than ask if it is wanted. Also a weekday lunch should not take over 2 hours

    Wonderful dining experience..... EXCEPT for two negatives: a) noise level between 1:00 and 2:00 PM was too high for an easy communication over lunch b) the spacing of tables at the windows to the outdoor dining area was too tight.

    It's rare you find a place that serves excellent seafood AND excellent steaks and Ocean Prime does this exceptionally well. The service here in Tampa is friendly, well-informed and professional and they strive to give you the best experience. The food was exceptional and left me wishing I was capable of eating more!

    Went to celebrate my Husband's birthday. The food, service and experience was outstanding. Our server Richard Spears was exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit.

    We were seated in an overflow area away from the main dining room. We had a nice server and had good service. We ordered the Japanese wagyu strip 4oz at $25/oz. The restaurant could not produce the actual certificate for the wagyu. The showed us a generic certificate that was laminated so I believe they don’t actually give you authentic Japanese beef but probably American or Australian wagyu.

    Food was absolutely amazing. I had the twin lobster tails and twice baked potato, which needed more seasonings. My husband had the sea bass…he thought the portion was kind of small. We had shrimp cocktails that were delicious and fresh. The selection of breads was delicious. We had the warm vanilla cake for dessert…best cake I’ve ever had. The only downfall was that we had to wait to be seated even though we had reservations and of course, way too pricey!

    We were celebrating a retirement and wanted an upscale dinner. Ocean Prime fit the bill. our server, John, recommended the Chilean sea bass and snapper so we went with those. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Apps were the lobster bisque and French onion soup. The bisque was creamy and rich, and the soup was okay. For desert we shared a delicious crème brûlée. Overall a nice experience and reason to celebrate.
