   We were really expecting a much better chilean sea bass, especially with it being a seafood restaurant. it was very very chewy and didnt have a ton of flavor, so that was very disappointing especially considering it was 60$ and we had a 420$ tab and only ordering 3 glasses of wine. wish i could rate the fish better but was disappointed. i would have also liked to see a manager or management walking around to ask how people are doing, but didnt see that either. however the one good thing was our waitress was very good.

   First off, the food at Ocean Prime is incredible. Second, Rob G was our server and he couldn’t have taken better care of our party. It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back again.

   There were 4 of us and we had a booth in the bar area and it was perfect! We ordered the Prime roll and Dynamite roll for appetizer and both were amazing! We ordered a pork chop, large fillet and lobster tail with a side of Brussel sprouts and corn. Everything was cooked perfect and delicious! The French onion soup is to die for! I highly recommend this place for a upscale dinner and a great evening!

   After trying to seat us in the second all glass bar, we moved inside to a great booth. Seafood and steak were absolutely first-class eating experience. Service was the same.

    We have been going to the Tampa Ocean Prime for many years as one of our favorite fancy restaurants. Recently, we have had trouble getting a reservation on Open Table, even with a week's notice. We got a reservation and went with friends early on a Saturday evening and had only a Fair experience. The service was still very good, but they now charge a $ 25 corkage fee (used to be no charge), the menu prices are much higher than before, and the food was only average at best. Therefore the value to us is less than before and Ocean Prime is no longer a favorite fancy restaurant go-to for us in Tampa. Bring back the old Ocean Prime and we will be back, often.

    amazing food great service amazing location numerous times I’ve been there and I couldn’t be happier with the selection of food and the great service we do get I do wish that you would enforce your dress code a little bit more strongly. There are people that are coming in there that look like they just walked off some side street somewhere and I don’t think that it’s appropriate to be dining with people who are looking very nice wearing construction outfits, so I only noticed you need to address her at four so dress code much more strictly

    One if the best restaurants around to celebrate any special occasion by far. Attention to detail dealing with shellfish allergy and the communication between server and food runners was on point! The champagne on the table along with rose petals and the complimentary desert besides the delicious dinner was a treat and perfect! We will request our server every time we come as she was amazing.     Service and food was exceptional! We were there to celebrate a birthday and the only complaint is they sat us at the worst table in the restaurant. The table was located at the entrance to the kitchen/servers area. There was CONSTANT traffic in and out. Just wish that we could have had a better table considering we were their to celebrate an event which they knew from the reservation.

    Pleasant experience. I was a bit disappointed when we arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and to door was locked to the restaurant. My wife was all dressed up for her birthday and we had to wait outside and the heat with rain storms looming

    A beautiful restaurant on a pond with a fountain, lily pads and birds outside to open air patio. The customer service was fantastic from the greeting, being lead to the table and throughout the dinner courses. The food was fantastic, top notch for sure. We shared the scallop & risotto entree for a starter then shared a filet and potato for a 2nd course. All excellent!

    Excellent atmosphere: upbeat, electric yet luxurious. Ocean Prime continues to be one of my favorites in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory feast. The cuisine, on menu and off menu, remains well-flavored, original and balanced yet decadently satisfying and the attentiveness to our party was impeccable.

    We had an outstanding experience. They were able to accommodate our outdoor seating request which was beautiful. We had lovely champagne and rose petals already sat out as this was an anniversary dinner. Everything we had was delicious. The Seabass was outstanding! We get this dish at many restaurants and ocean prime‘s presentation is exceptional. The butter cake which we have had before was also amazing! our server Mary and assistant Aiden were wonderful!     Went for lunch. Meal took over 30 min to arrive once they finally took order. Went for lunch, sat outside. Tried the special, it was good. But sea bass is way better imo. Cool place, just not if you have a schedule to mind.
