   Nostrana is very high class and gourmet. From the glassware to the beautiful presentation of the cuisine. It definitely comes with a price, but it’s well worth it!! If you are looking for quiet, don’t go here. It’s a fun and energetic atmosphere! Loved it so much!!! Our server and all the servers around us were FABULOUS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Very nice place but to add a 22% surcharge for a tip on only 2 people is CRAZY. I get that servers need to be paid as I was a server for many many years but to automatically add 22% on all tables is not cool and my husband and I will NOT be going back.

   Table 87 check 90 for 5/15/25 Service was non existent waited 10 plus minutes just to get water. Everyone behind the bar had something more important to do than greet the customer. Employees don’t seem overly happy to be there just my observation. Probably my tenth time there and each time service gets worse but they still have mandatory 22% service charge. I truly don’t think that equates to a great experience and good customer service. Food was ok porchetta a little dry and really could have used a second glass of wine if there was someone to help. Also would have been nice if I was asked how my dish was and if I was satisfied with it. I watched the staff I walk around and carry out their individual tasks and roles but seemed to miss the customer engagement side of things .

   Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations. Food was very good for a very good price.

   Just an outlanding experience. The food, attentive service, creative wine selections, atmosphere, it’s got it all. One of the best restaurants in Portland without the weird Portlandia vibe. Highly recommended

   We ate early - 5 pm and noise was very low . Louder when we left .. but not bad

   It was okay. Noodles were soggy. Steak was medium, ordered med rare. Flavor profile mediocre. Wine was good.

   For over 20 years we have been coming down from Seattle for the weekend to spend our anniversary in Portland. Nostrana has been our go to spot for our celebration. Last nights meal was so so and honestly a disappointment. The food was bland, the drinks were not great and the overall feel was the place felt tired. Every dish just felt and tasted uninspired. We struggled to find something to order. It was disappointing to experience a place we’ve loved so much for all these years to fall flat. *Also, the tables are really uncomfortable with the middle bar. On the bright side our server was sweet and the service was very good overall. We hope it gets better it and it was just an off night. Sadly, not sure we will come back.

    Enjoyed the food, Delicious and high quality . The service and attentiveness was very pleasant and appreciated, especially for our big group . Next time we are in Portland will surely visit again !
